He is a legal drug pusher using OxyContin, after several years of asking to be taken off he just keep pushing more and more pills. he very rarely see patients. he assigns you to his PAs and they give you 5 minutes and give out refills.He should be investigated by the California Medical board. ASAP. He gave so many pills to neighbor who OD and died. how many more will and has he kill?

I went to this pain management doctor for 5 years until I moved to Kern county. I still went there when I only lived 100 miles away in the Antelope Valley! But 150 miles is too far to drive with a back problem! I was always treated with respect and empathy. I do not know if Renee is still there but what a gem! She was genuinely concerned about me. Just loved her. I know most of the ladies want to see the handsome doctor but the entire staff is great. I was so lucky to finally find another good pain management doctor in the Antelope Valley, Dr. Perdikis. It is only coincidence that they are both Greek! Lol. I am too but 3rd generation.

Do not get lumbar epidurals … in fact dont get any epidurals. They are risky and even if they work, their benefit is temporary. My leg pain due to lumbar stenosis was about a 5 and tolerable before my injections and now it is an 8 or 9 and intolerable. Every step is an effort with sharp pains shooting from my hips to my feet. And sleeping is never peaceful as no position is comfortable. When I reported my increased pain to Dr. P I was given steroid pills which did not work. He said nothing went wrong during the procedure, but evidently something did, however, I have no idea what it was because I was asleep during the procedure then quickly shuffled out the door while expressing my discomfort to the discharge nurse. After a cursory physical exam, he said I should eventually get better. However, I feel no change after a month and fear I have permanent nerve damage. After two weeks of continued increased pain he prescribed Neurontin, which I will not take because they are addictive, have side effects (impotence) and are not a long term solution. I left a message to express my dissatisfaction but received no call back. He said he does 30 or 40 of these a week, so how can I expect to get optimal individual care. He does get one star for being personable and listening during the office visit, but his drug first approach is the kind of medicine being practiced in this country that is ruining our nations health.

Im functional again dispute debilitating condition. Always a good experience in lobby and in patient room. Surgery Center is amazing too. Never need to wait too long to be seen for procedure. Love Dr. P and his team of phenom P.A.s and Nurses

I went through the pain management program and it’s amazing and it saved my life. I was taking at least six 80 mg OxyContin daily for my chronic cervical pain. I’m not taking any pain meds for 6 years now cause I’ve been given techniques for managing my chronic pain so I’m able to live a productive life!

Excellent all around! From exercises to the correct approach with medications. Could not ask for more.

Beyond helpful with my chronic pain. The entire staff is professional, spends time with me and knows what they’re doing. Dr. Paicius is a master at his craft. I highly recommend Newport Headache and Pain.

I’ve spent years in pain management, in my experience, this office and Doctor is approach to pain is a healthy one. Careful with handing out medications and injection were helpful

All I did was get injections that did not help. The narcotics I did not want because I did not want to become an addict like my mother. They offered no other alternatives and I was asked to leave when I questioned about other possibilities to treat my pain. Now I have found a chiropractor who has solved my pain problem, thank God for him.
