Ive been seeing Dr. Liu for over 10 years. Shes amazing! She is professional, patient and warm - I feel so comfortable with her. I have very fair skin, light eyes, and light hair. There have been a couple of times that she has removed some curious spots from me. She explains everything before she begins and makes sure Im numb and comfortable before moving forward. Shes been hugely helpful with bouts of psoriasis and other periodic concerns Ive had. Not only is she amazing at ensuring my health but shes also very helpful for the vain side of me too. Im starting to show signs of aging and shes great at advising on preventative, minimally invasive treatments.It is obvious that she keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in the dermatology field. Her knowledge + personality = trust. Im not sure I would trust anyone else like I trust her. I have referred co-workers and friends to her over the years and they are all very happy with her as well.

I have been coming to this office for ten years now and everyone is very nice. The front desk are attentive and they have little snacks and tea for you in case you get hungry or want something to drink.I visit to treat my acne with oil gland and microdermabrasion treatments. Rosa and Kelly are both very thorough and nice. They usually run on time also so you are not kept waiting long.You won’t regret coming here for your dermatology needs!

My experience with Newport Dermatology was truly life saving thanks to my beautiful and experienced estithician Kelly who immediately recognized a black spot on my stomach that I hadnt realized was even there. She removed it for a biopsy and showed cancer cells. I was at a Drs office fast and the area cleaned up! Now for the beauty part Dr Grace and Kellys Injection placements are so enhancing. Ive been going to Newport Coast Dermatology for almost a year now and Ive seen great things happen to my skin. Kelly, the RN, has been a lifesaver for my skin. Ive gotten acne facials, acne injections and a microneedling procedure done with her and theyve all gone extremely well. Kelly has recommended skin care products that have worked really well on my acne prone skin and she is always supportive when listening to my skin care concerns. The front desk people and the medical assistants (specifically Jessica) are also very professional, helpful and informative. I would recommend going here for any of your skin care needs!

I recommend Newport Coast Dermatology (Ask for Kelly). The staffs at Newport Coast Dermatology are also very nice and patient. If you’re interested, read my journey below.2015: After turning 40, it was noticeable that my face started to look a bit droopy. I decided it’s time to start looking for a non-surgical cosmetic procedure to help me age gracefully and looking naturally. I’ve done my research on different procedures and also gotten consultations from 5-6 different facilities to help me narrow down on my choices. It was really a tough call, in addition to budget concerns, it was really hard to tell if you can “trust” which facility’s claim for the money. Finally, I decided on the Ultherapy, and narrowed down to Newport Coast Dermatology and one other facility… But because the other facility was giving big promotion on Ultherapy, I went with that other facility. But in short, I was not pleased with the result, and I really don’t think the practitioner was very careful in carrying out the procedure – resulted in some minor rippling on the lower left side of my face. When I called them, they said I needed to wait at least 6 months to see good results. After 6 month, I hardly felt any lift - maybe just a Teeny Tiny bit, but definitely not enough lift/tightening for the money. And yes, after two years, there is still some rippling left near the lower left side of my face. In 2017, I was just very tired of not seeing enough results, and the droopiness of my face, I went to Newport Coast Dermatology and asked for Kelly, who did my initial consultation in 2015 - I liked how Kelly was very considerate and yet upfront about the results. After my 2nd consultation with her, I decided to try Exilis Elite, since it’s a cheaper procedure and you can see results faster. Not sure if it’s just me, but I can feel the lift on my face almost immediately after the Exilis procedure. That’s why a year later, in 2018 today, I’m back with Kelly again to get another Exilis procedure done. Kelly is very professional in carrying out my procedures with extra care. I’m one happy customer.

After my entire family coming here monthly for a decade we are done. We had 3 cancellations in a row in Oct 2019. Wen NCD wants to make a last minute cancellation on you its no problem for them, if you cancel last minute they charge you. I asked the front desk to have Dr. Lui call me so I could share what took place, she never did, instead she sent me a letter informing me she would no longer be my derm. We never saw her, we always had a PA. We created several appts so they could work with my daughters high school schedule. On one Friday afternoon the office called to say Kelly wants to leave early to fly home. That was inconvenient. Another time the front desk tried to tell me you cancelled the appt--which was incorrect. We we did reschedule for the 3rd time Kelly called the next day left a message on my daughters phone tell her she was out and the front desk made an error. WHY would you you call my daughter vs me? Its either you are afraid to cancel on me again and dont want to confront me or are incompetent and call someone at school? For December they are our 2.5 weeks for holiday. What aobut the patients valuable time and schedule? How many bi monthly acne treatments, Botox, skin tags, lazer removals did we pay for over the past decade for 4 people and see your husband the dentist in the same office?!
