Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. My son start seeing her a few months ago and she has been very understanding and helpful. It is hard to get a hold of her by phone, but I text and someone answers by the following day. She is very thorough which is great especially when kids are involved

Dr. Almase is an excellent psychiatrist who spends ample time talking with my son and offering suggestions and solutions to us both. She is always calm, reasonable and straightforward. Dr. Almase NEVER rushes through an appointment! I highly recommend her.

Avoid! She is a very aggressive pill pusher and her bedside manner is lacking. Ive been on the same low dose of an antidepressant for years and didnt want to change, but she suggested changes at every appointment. The final straw came when I sent her an email asking her process on having some paperwork filled out for my employer. Her response was to berate me for sending confidential information via email (what??) and say she would only fill out the paperwork if I was going to increase my meds and be seen more frequently. Um, money grubber much???? No thanks to this doctor; Ive found a new provider.

I wish I could give her zero stars. She left my boyfriend high and dry during a time he desperately needed her all because he hadn’t been in in 6 months. She was rude and very aggressive. Will never go back AVOID her at all costs
