I came to Dr Vardy with a very difficult ortho case initially for a second opinion. Dr Vardy did a very careful and thoughtful analysis of my case and her proposal for correcting my alignment and bite made such an impression on me that decided go forward with her and not my original orthodontist.After getting some required periodontal work done that Dr Vardy help coordinate my actual time of Invisalign treatment was almost 3 years mostly due to the complexity of my case but in part because I am an adult patient. I have to admit I wasnt sure how she and her team would transition between treating teenagers and me but from time to time I did see other adults in her office and the transition was seamless. Her assistant Dr Vitali and office manager Fran are very knowledgeable and friendly and equally as important as an adult patient- they valued my time.I am extremely satisfied with the results of my orthodontic treatment - I even smile now without covering my mouth with my hand!I highly recommend Dr Vardy for your orthodontic needs, especially if you have a difficult case. I doubt there are many more dentists with her understanding of orthodontics, periodontics, and general dentistry. Dr Vardy can even do cosmetic work - which was the best solution for me at the end to of my treatment. Her job knowledge and experience is impressive!

She committed insurance fraud when I didnt agree with her treatment plan.Dr. Vardy is extremely pushy; you have to either fully agree with her or face backlash. I went in for a consultation but did not agree with the treatment plan (as it involved monthly muscle relaxant injections). I tried asking her to reduce the treatment scope, but she was adamant, going as far as changing my reported pain levels in order to make the case that I was in extreme pain. When I made it clear I was not coming in for a follow-up, I was billed thousands of dollars for several made-up appointments as well as having the same x-rays charged to both my dental and health insurances. During this time, the office would not answer my calls or respond to my emails. This ordeal has been a huge setback for me and Im still trying to resolve the situation with my insurance company.Please be very cautious with Dr. Vardy. I was unfortunate to come across her extremely vindictive side. In my case, she pushed for the most comprehensive treatment while disregarding what I felt was comfortable for my own body. When I decided not to return, she found ways to cheat and maximize the amount she could bill my insurance company for.Another review mentioned that she is bipolar. You just need to read Dr. Vardys response to that review, or any of the other negative reviews for that matter.

Dr Vardy is an exceptional orthodontist, and clearly takes pride in her work and making sure her patients are 110% happy. After three years with another orthodontist and chipped teeth, cavities and no end in sight, I met Dr Vardy and could not be happier with her excellent and thorough care . Dr Vardy and her team were kind, helpful, and fully explained my treatment plan on the initial visit, including cost options. The process from consultation to finally getting my braces off was just as she had expected and on time. She masterfully repaired all that was needed while exuding patience, and with a keen eye and understanding as to my concerns. Dr Vardy saved the day, and my teeth, bite and smile! My son had a severe underbite. I went to a different orthodontist before going to Dr. Vardy and I was told to wait until my sons adult teeth came out. I waited a year and decided to get a second opinion which is something I shouldve done right away. I went to Dr. Vardy. She told me he needed early intervention and started work on my son immediately. What was a 2 month process (only 2 months) ended up being life changing results for my son. I honestly feel like she worked miracles on him. Not only was his underbite gone, he gained confidence in himself and became a completely different child. This review is just a small thank you to a talented orthodontist who changed my sons life because of her keen eye. Stellar orthodontist, very friendly environment, and wonderful human being.

This was the worst doctor every. First she was double the price quoted to me by another ortho (who is doing a wonderful job) - then she kept telling me about how high her bills were and how hard it is to pay for her practice in New York. She also kept yelling at her staff in a way that was very uncomfortable and uncalled for. I only went in for a consultation, and had the online printout for a free consultation. My insurance company called today and said she put in a claim that charged me over $500. Worst service ever and I never write a review. She was so odd, absolutely bi-polar. Im putting in a claim and a complaint to the ortho board about her....I feel like she is stealing from her patients and falsely advertising. Be very careful!

Expensive, unstable office. changes staff everyday. SHE IS BIPOLAR charged me 9200 for an invisalign case that didnt even work. STAY AWAY
