I walked into Dr. Mark’s office with a lot of anxiety, needing a slightly more complicated oral surgery, referred by my regular dentist. My anxiety quickly dissipated experiencing the confidence of Dr. Mark and his staff, who are clearly exceptionally comfortable and experienced with all kinds of dental and oral surgeries. I got an assessment and asked when we could do the procedure. Dr. Mark checked his schedule and said:Now! 45 minutes later I walked out out of a surprisingly painless surgery with renewed confidence and peace of mind. I was also able continue my day as if nothing happened! The office staff and assistants are very knowledgeable, helpful and prompt, and Dr. Mark is a gifted oral surgeon. Highly recommend.

My experience with Dr. Mark and his staff was very impressive. From the time I entered the office to the time I left my experience was top rated. They were kind and professional. Can’t say enough about the level of actual care I receive here. Five stars for skill. Five stars for caring dentist and staff. A skilled dental surgeon with a heart of gold is a rare thing, and with reasonable fees, a wonderful support staff and clean, efficient and welcoming setting... I’m very grateful. Dr. Rita Mizrahi is an excellent oral surgeon. She explained everything very clearly and made me feel at ease about the procedure. She extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth including two partially erupted ones which were quite close to the inferior alveolar nerve. The procedure was easy and the recovery very manageable. And the staff were great, too!

Where do I even begin? I have had a fear of the dentist my entire life. When I found out that I had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted I was absolutely terrified. However, Dr. Mark and his entire team made this experience ten times easier for me. Dr Mark and his team are life savers!! I had four wisdom teeth extracted at once and though I feared the worst, my experience was great and the procedure was fast and absolutely pain free. Everyone in the office was friendly and reassuring, and I healed within a week without any of the swelling and discomfort everyone else seems to have with this procedure.Both my parents are doctors and they only select the most experienced and skilled doctors for our family. Dr Mark is an excellent choice for anyone considering oral surgery. His surgical expertise is only matched by his kindness and sense of humor. Highly recommend this practice.

I had to get my wisdom tooth extracted and it was a quick and painless experience. The office was immaculately clean and the staff were all really sweet. Sara especially made sure I was comfortable and made my experience even more pleasant.

Before my visit to Dr. Mark, my mouth was in horrible condition. I was missing all but two of my molars with no opposing bite. I was not able to enjoy food since I couldnt chew it properly. In a single visit to Dr. Mark, he placed nine implants in about a hour. I experienced no pain during the procedure which also included a tooth extraction. I also experienced little post operative discomfort which I was able to control with two days of ibuprofen. My whole experience was simply amazing and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Mark for his skill and compassion.

Oral surgery is rarely an experience a patient considers healing and inspiring, and yet this is how I felt after I went to see Dr. Mark for a bone graft and implant. He and his team exceeded every expectation. The procedure was completed within an hour, and absolutely pain free. The doctor and staff work very efficiently as a team, and the atmosphere is upbeat, and energetic. I am a physician myself and weary of the many potential complications of surgery. So when I choose a surgeon I look for experience and expertise. I got that, an excellent result and had NO pain as a bonus. I highly recommend Dr.Mark for any maxillofacial surgery.

As a Google Guide, I take my reviews seriously and write them only after a lot of thought. I waited a year to write this review because I believe that only after a year of healing can you really tell people how good you think a surgeon and his work are. In few words, my review is: talk with Dr. Mark.I do not wish oral surgery on anyone, but if you have to have it done, I can honestly say you would be well advised to consult with Dr. Mark as you make the decision on who your surgeon will be.My wife and I needed serious oral surgery a year ago – four and five implants, plus three extractions and bone grafts for each – and Dr. Mark was one of the surgeons our dentist recommended. We went to one surgeon in Queens who told us my wife’s case was too complex, so we were expecting a hard ride. Our dentist told us we should have MRIs done of our mouths to get a clearer picture of the issue (apparently not all surgeons do this), which is how we got to Dr. Mark. He’s on Madison Avenue and we’re off Greenpoint Avenue, so we were afraid we couldn’t afford him, but we went for a consultation because he has an MRI machine in the office.We were so surprised when we got there. We felt the good energy right away. Dr. Mark showed us on the MRI why my wife’s case was so complex, and said he would handle it himself. When time came to discuss the charges, we found out what an actually good guy he is. He could tell we are not people of means, and worked with us on the cost – I mean, seriously worked with us. He brought the cost within our range and allowed us to get Madison Avenue quality at a Queens Boulevard price. I am so grateful for that, because here it is a year later and we are fine, having had no complications or strange healing issues.Dr. Mark, Nurse Sarah and the whole staff made us feel very comfortable and relaxed all the times we visited them. They joked with us and treated us with kind friendliness. Let me tell you, that made a big difference. The good spirit they create in the office was very important to our experience as patients.The actual moment of oral surgery is a tough passage, but by making us feel relaxed and happy with the people around us, they made us able to make that passage as well as can be expected. Yes, the surgery was followed by a period of healing – three months of extremely soft food and another three of soft food – and when the implants healed there was the installation process of the new teeth (done by our dentist) and the healing from that, but the key to our good outcome was smoothly getting through Day One of the adventure.That’s why I can sincerely recommend Dr. Mark. Your final decision will likely be the result of many factors, but as you’re considering what to do you should talk with this guy. If your experience is anything like ours, you will be glad you did.

I had a terrible expereience getting my first two wisdom teeth extracted many years ago. It was traumatizing. To say the least, I was very scared and I knew had to find a new dooctor to get my last two teeth taken out. Very happy I found Dr. Mark. He was very helpful and so was his assistant. Dr Mark treated me for full mouth dental implants. My case was very complex to say the least. My oral problems had been created by post cancer radiation that made dental surgery very difficult. Also, I had been treated by another dentist who did a terrible job on my mouth, and I was referred to Dr Mark to fix the mess created by the other dentist. Dr. Mark and his staff treated me for almost one year, and they completed my dental implants very successfully. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. But more importantly, Dr. Mark treated me like I was his most important patient. He was very professional yet very caring. The same can be said of his staff. I actually looked forward to my visits with Dr. Mark, because we had very engaging conversations during my visits. Dr. Mark takes great pride in his work. He made several adjustments to my implants until they fit just right. I highly recommend Dr. Mark as your best choice for dental surgery or implant treatment. I had my one implant placed by Dr. Mark. It was my first implant and i was extremely nervous. Dr. Mark and all staff was AMAZING. Theres some kind of magic happening here. I had two teeth extracted. So quick and skillful, I never even realized when he pulled the teeth. Next day, no swelling, no pain. I think Dr. Mark is some kind of wizard.

Dr Mark is immensely skilled: I had previously gone to another oral surgeon due to geographical convenience. The difference between Dr. Mark and the other surgeon was the difference between night and day. Not only did He perform an extraction and two implants with little pain , but Dr. Mark is ever so thoughtful and considerate. I am in my 70s, though of course I look 10 years younger like everyone else my age says they do :), ( beside the point), So I’ve had a lot of experience with my teeth which refuse to cooperate with me and seem to have a mind of their own :) once again, Dr. Mark is the best !!!

Incredible doctor, able to put you at ease, which is important for a skittish person like myself, but also quick and efficient, but with great bedside manner. I was supposed to see dr.mark andrei but a woman came to see me and extracted my tooth for 1min, yes that fast with very heavy hand and a very long thread to sew my gum. I came here because of good reviews but I didn’t expect this service. She took so much time to sell me other expensive services when I say no, she done my procedure in no time. I had a very pleasant recent experience with Dr Andrei Mark who had to deal with an old problem. This involved the re-infection of an aged cleaned out root canal. Dr Mark spent a great deal of time explaining in detail my options..repeatedly, as I had a prior bad experience. Nevertheless, after much discussion and explanation, I agreed to the procedure. I am thoroughly delighted with the result, I recommend him highly as a true professional who cares for his patients and their needs.

This office is extraordinary. Dr. Mark has a team that is so professional and knowledgeable yet they take each patient personally. You feel like a friend by the end of your first visit.I suffer from panic attacks - the dentist is a sure trigger for me. I had to have the entire upper portion of my mouth worked on for implants. I was terrified. This man, this kind, caring considerate man, literally numbed each tooth separately so that he could work and I would be comfortable. His staff is caring and they remember you. They ask questions, they engage you in conversation so that you remain calm. Their work is pristine (Dr. Mark has been known to have the work sent back to the lab because HE didnt like the look or the fit) and of the highest standard.This office gives you what every person going to the dentist should experience.

I just received a new dental implant by Dr. Mark. I had my one implant placed by Dr. Mark and my husband had two implants. Everything was GREAT, from making appointment, to the location, all the way to finished implant. Very affordable. I went to Dr. Mark because I needed to remove all 4 of my wisdom teeth. A surgery I have been postponing since 2009 - this can explain how much of a baby I am when it comes to things like this one. I finally took courage and went to do the first 2 (right side)... and I showed him and his entire team how much of a baby I am (no shame in saying this) by starting to cry even before he said we are going to remove 2. Clearly, they must be used to work with babies, because they are all super amazing, kind and reassuring. One of his assistants told me that it could take 20 minutes to remove the teeth, she lied... it took him 10 minutes and with no pain at all. I have to admit, the 4 shots of anesthesia are the ones that were painful, but not for lack of professionalism or experience from their end, only because my pain level is really low. That said, I didnt even realize when he actually took out the two teeth. I was super impressed!!!You hear many stories from friends and family members on how painful removing a wisdom tooth is, so I went it pretty scared of the surgery and the aftermath...I went home that day, changed the gauze per instructions, ate a little bit of ice cream pushing it all the day to the left side, and went to sleep a little worried on how I would wake up the next morning in terms of pain and swollen my right cheek would be. Well, I woke up and felt nothing at all. Spent the day relaxing, starting to eat a little bit, always on the left side. But nothing, I didnt look like a chipmunk and didnt hurt. Went to the beach on the following day. The only small downsize it was due to the antibiotics that made me tired all the time...but who doesnt like a good nap? :)I went back to Dr. Mark one week later for a check up and he told me its healing well and mentioned we should think of removing the other two, I jumped up and said lets do it right away, I am not scared anymore! :)I definitely recommend him, he is definitely the best surgeon I have ever met and his team is great too, always ready to answer any possible question, calm you down and even hold your hand if needed!

I had a great experience with Dot. Mark and his wonderful team, Sara and Liton. They were incredibly professional, always available, caring and fun. I would have never thought that having an implant could be such a fun and pleasant experience…I mean it! I would recommend them to anyone. I had to go back several times for small side issues and every time they were super kind and always with a heartfelt smile in their face…which made all the difference! And the implant procedure was very well done, all worked out perfectly. I could not praise them more. For sure one of my favorite medical practices of all New York City!

I never thought I would rave about a dental experience. I have had 5 implants with Dr. Mark and each was done with care and expertise. Two of them were actually redos of previously failed implants. I had a great experience with Dr. Mark recently when I needed to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I was very nervous about the pain, and about how I would feel post-op, but there was no need to worry. Dr. Mark was very good at calming my nerves and did an excellant job on the procedure. Not only was I not in pain at all after the surgery, but I did not swell or bruise. I was very impressed with Dr. Marks skill and ease, and trust him with any further dental work that I might need in the future.

I was referred to Dr. Marks by my general dentist, Dr. Irv Tregerrman for teeth extractions, bone grafts and implants. Previously I had gone to another Oral surgeon for a bone graft and it was painful and took a long time to heal correctly. Dr. Mark does it another way, by using your own plasma to create a bone graft right there in the office. The healing process was dramatically different. The healing began the same day and continued at this fast rate. It took a few days to look like the way I did a month into the healing process the other way (taking your bone and crushing it up and filling the hole then stitching it up). The office staff was educated on the procedures and were willing to answer questions while I was waiting to be seen by Dr. Mark. I highly recommend Dr. Andrei Mark as an oral surgeon.
