Visited Dr. Lee for a second opinion and am so glad I did! The office was beautiful and clean, the staff was very friendly and conversational, and took time to verify any pricing concerns I had. But the best part was that Dr. Lee spent 20+ minutes sitting with me answering questions and calming my concerns. She highlighted what was a big deal and what wasn’t, as well as the most practical and affordable path forward. My first opinion periodontist was perfunctory, poked my gums a bit, told me I needed to spend $3k on surgery, and did not give me time to ask any questions. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Lee and the whole Advanced Periodontics team!

I went to Doctor Dan for a second opinion for an incisor with resorption, hoping it wouldn’t have to be pulled. It had to go. Although I was quite anxious about having a front tooth pulled, it was pretty painless, and I was able to get the implant and bone graft at the same time. (This should save about 3 or 4 months until final crown.) I was VERY happy! Doctor Dan, Doctor Laura and Stephanie made this whole experience very comfortable, and I’m looking forward to going there for all my dental needs. Spotless office, very hi-tech, and very friendly! The Advanced Periodontics team is professional, expert, and genuinely cares about their patients. Dr. Richard Nejat put in a full set of all on four upper and lower teeth for me in 2013. They have lasted beautifully ever since. The ongoing dental care I have received from Dr. Nejat and Dr. Michael Kelley is also top notch. I lost all my teeth due to bone loss from Type 1 diabetes complications. Dr. Richard Nejat is my hero! I had a tooth extraction and bone graft today. Just the fact that I am able to write this review a couple hours later shows just how well it went today. I have to say that my experience with tooth extraction has not been good up to now, I am 43, so have had a few. This was entirely different. Dr. Nejat is a virtuoso. This was the least stressful, the least painful, the best extraction in my life. I have been postponing this procedure because I was dreading this, was very scared. I was thinking of general anesthesia, then I was thinking of getting a sedative, then I was thinking of getting laughing gas. I ended up with just local anesthesia. When you are in hands of a professional who knows what he is doing, you don’t need all of that! This is revelation for me. Normally I would come out of the office with pain, drooling, unable to drive. So I prepared, came with a friend just in case I can’t drive home. I drove myself today. No drooling, no pain, not even gauze in my mouth. Could talk, my friend was very surprised. Everyone at work knew I was getting this today, so they will be surprised too. And the office staff was very pleasant. Thank you so much!!!!

In other words, I think that she finally got through to me about the importance of flossing!… so much so that I am actually going to do it this time after her very effective scaling and cleaning.Tim, the scheduler and insurance interfacer, Is also forthright and effective.As a doctor, I provided the Entrée to the services of the doctors Nejat through the recommendation of a fellow doctor. They have always been conservative and thoughtful in their treatment plan. They realized that through good periodontal treatment they could save the toothAs my 18-year-old son. Other people had recommended root canal which would essentially kill the tooth. Two years later his tooth is doing fine. I strongly recommend these doctors and their great staff

Doctor Richard Nejad is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All details about the procedure are explained and all questions are patiently answered.The procedure ( extraction and bone grafting ) done quickly, so I can return to work same day. They are moderately priced as well.Staff is very professional and (again) open to answer any questions.

They will inconvenience you to the max, they are so incompetent that they can not just have changed on hand in office to give to patients but instead they require their patients to provide their own and you have to then wait for them to download them no other office does this. Stay far away. They have the dumbest staff on earth. They do not understand anything.

I got an implant today at the NYC office of Advanced Periodontics. Dr. Dan Nejat did a great job. It was over quickly and it didn’t hurt. The office staff observed all the safety and distancing rules and managed to be professional and friendly. Dr. Dan is a thorough and expert Doctor and he is always making sure I understand what he is doing. His assistant Jorge made sure I was comfortable through the entire procedure. Carolina at the front desk was very helpful as well. It would be hard to find a great Periodontal team like this one anywhere. I returned to the dental office yesterday after my treatment had been interrupted due to the Covid-19 virus. Dr. Lee and staff were wonderful, as usual. It was very clean, as they follow the covid 19 guidelines the workers were very welcoming and although its a bit expensive for my pockets ☺️ but this also deals with healthy dentures and you would want the best care for yourself as well, so overall although I havent done work with them yet my first visit was welcoming.

Great experience at Advanced Periodontics. Dr. Nejat and his staff were great. He has wonderful bedside manner and seemed truly concerned with my outcome. They were also great working with my insurance and putting together a plan that worked for me financially.

From the get go the staff was very informative and friendly. I came in to get an implant from Dr. Nejat who explained the procedure and answered all of my questions in a professional manner. One of the staff, Penny, helped me with the insurance information and any finances that may have been an issue. Hands down one of the best dental experiences Ive had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone getting dental surgery.

Came here based on a recommendation of a friend and I was glad I did. The front of house was very nicely set up and the receptionists were friendly and efficient. After filling out the standard forms, it was a brief wait before I was on a chair for X-rays and a cleaning. Gabriela was very attentive during the cleaning, making sure I was comfortable and clearing up the problem areas she found in the X-rays. After she was done, another dentist reviewed my X-rays and performed an examination with recommendations for further treatment. Questions were welcomed and carefully answered. Once all that was done, I spoke to another staff member who had the list of recommended treatments ready as well as the overall costs. Everything was succinctly explained to me and I was ready to go with my treatment plan and a follow up appointment just a few minutes after finishing up. A+ staff and facilities. Will be back for my follow up and future care.

I came here for implant Surgery with DR Richard.He had performed successful bone graft Surgery on my number 9 upper Gum prior to implant Surgery and it healed beautifully. Advanced Periodontics makes the misery of dental work as pleasant as possible. The dentists are very personable and do all they can to make you comfortable, explain procedures, and find the least expensive (but still adequate) service needed to resolve your problems. They are also accessible if you have a problem that needs discussion after youve left the office. The office staff are knowledgeable, warm and understanding and the dental assistant I have used for many years is just the best.My only complaint is that the fees are somewhat high (altho the office will try to work out a payment program for you when necessary).

It is clean and modern and always has a great playlist playing.I can’t remember everyone there’s name, however, after spending four visits, I definitely can say that everyone I’ve encountered is professional, super friendly and very caring. WOW, I had 6 implants done during one visit. Surprisingly, I felt no pain, not even from the injections of the numbing agent. Dr. Rich and his staff took really good care of me. I had taken one sedative, so when the procedure was over, they suggested that I stay for a few hours to sleep it off .. so to speak. They then walked outside with me and made sure I got into a cab safely. In the days following, I had nominal pain and nominal swelling and bruising. I’m now at the 2 week mark and very happy with the results. Thank you Dr. Rich and the staff at Advanced Periodontics!

Doctor spends lots of time with you, answering every single question, strategizing how to best treat based on past experiences, fears, etc. Office is organized, responsive and helpful.

I came to the office after a friend referred me. Its very clean and the staff is so friendly. Dr. Nejat actually took time to listen to my issues and give me proper guidance toward my treatment. I would definitely reccomend this office to any of my friends. My treatment planner Penny sat down with me and went over my insurance coverage and answered any financial questions I had. Hands down best dental experience Ive ever had.

I love this place! I had been searching for a place to get some implant wotk done and after much research I called Advanced Periodontics.My initial consultation conversation was with Stephanie (the treatment plan coordinator) she is so understanding and friendly. She explained the whole process over the phone before my initial visit. .When I had my first visit I met Dr. Richard Nejat ( Dr. Rich) and his staff. They are amazing!! He explained how they do things, different that most places, they take your overall smile and looks into considerstion. I had a 3D Xray done and he showed me what he thought would be the best options for meThey work with you on payment plans if you need itSo far, Ive had lazer gum surgery, that was suprisinly not painful ( its been a few months and my gums are still beauriful :) )Im still waitnig to get some financing for my implant procedure, so I will gve an update when thats done.What I can say so far, is if you are looking for somewhere that is knowledgeable. professional and friendly and are concerned about your overall look and health of your teeth and gums. This is the place!Cant wait for my new smile!

Dr. Richard Nejat is amazing. He is one of the very few dentists in the United States that works with Zirconia...ceramic....non metal implants. Zironia implants are largely used in Europe and Dr. Nejat has brought this cutting edge technology to the USA. His work is impeccable. I have one implant now for a year and it is fabulous. I now have two grafts growing my bone so as to have two more implanted.One of the greatest assets to his office is his staff and dental assistants...sweet, kind, knowledgable and experienced. And then there is Stephanie. Stephanie is like having a private shopper at Bloomingdales. She is there for you every step of the way. Emails, calls, everything but home visits::))) But that is understandable because I live in East Hampton. Love ya all!!!

After searching online for several months for a good dentist who was easily accessible, I finally found one with great reviews. It was the office of Advanced Periodontics in Manhattan, N.Y.I arrived there full of apprehension as I knew I had to have dental surgery due to an infected tooth which had to be extracted, I would then have to have an implant to replace the missing tooth. (I was told this by a previous dentist) I was greeted by the friendliest receptionist and after a short wait I met Dr. Richard Nejat. Dr. Richard was very nice and professional, he soon made me feel at ease as he explained the plan of treatment after which I decided to have the work started that same day.I have had many extractions during my lifetime and they have always been very painful. Dr. Richard did the extraction and for the first time I did not experience any pain while this was being done (very little after)Stephanie who did my financing was friendly and helpful and so was the rest of the staff.I highly recommend Dr. Richard and this dental office.

I had a major issue and despite what another periodontist told me, Dr. (Richard) Nejat helped me keep things in check rather than rushing into something. He was patient in finding a solution that worked for me, when I was ready. Alex is a fantastic hygenist who takes great care, and Stephanie is super helpful. I couldnt have made a better choice
