I recently had a zoom conference with Dr. Ocean inquiring about her SM-88 clinical trial which is a third line of treatment. She was so very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient with me and members of my family providing us with information about her trial and answering all of our questions and concerns. Dr. Allyson Ocean is one of the finest oncologists you will come across. She is super bright, explains things clearly, is not unnecessarily aggressive and is compassionate. I have been to many as my husband as been ill for a long time. I will put her at the top of those we have met in the United States.

Hard to say what Dr. Oceans mix of great brain, expertise and human compassion means to a person with metastatic pancreatic cancer. She sees beyond charts and numbers, and is willing to try to treatments that can make chemotherapy more effective or manageable. Telemedicine has made her more accessible. I only wish it had been available during my first round, which ultimately made me so sick I was unable to recover from the chemo.

Dr. Ocean is amazing, . . .. compassionate, smart, openminded and respectful of the patent and caregivers feelings through every issue. I have recommended her in the past and will continue to do so.

She spends as much time as necessary with us; without us feeling rushed, being able to ask good questions and she answered all of our questions with really helpful answers. She is a great listener and very focused.
