I appreciate this center. It was easy to schedule an appointment, they sent several reminders. Because I went on a weekday it was empty, which was nice. The wait was about 15 minutes but I had come at the end of the day. My doctor was very nice, thoughtful and open to my opinions. I appreciated the appointment and the whole thing went pretty fast. I wish there was an online client portal but overall it was great for a check up.

Dr. Li delivered my baby, so I have come to many appointments at this place and understand it fairly well. This is a longer review since I had been looking at reviews prior to choosing a doctor and did not find many on labor and delivery, and was also concerned about the negative reviews that I saw. First of all, Dr. Li is a fantastic doctor—5 out of 5 stars. I like her a lot, which is why I continued to come here despite the other issues with the office. Dr. Egbert is also great and the nurses are nice too. The three doctors that work here all deliver babies, and probably do other procedures too. As a result however, any of the three may be called out of the office last minute, or have to stay away longer, due to work at the hospital. When this happens, they do not cancel that doctor’s appointments. Instead, the doctor who is in the office ends up taking double appointments. This, combined with the fact that they tend to overbook, can lead to horrendous wait times. When you arrive for an appointment, instead of explaining that a doctor is away or warning you about the wait, the admin staff tend to say nothing at all so you end up waiting for an hour and won’t find out they are backed up until you ask them very directly. I think it would be better if they called patients and gave them the option of rescheduling when this happens, but unfortunately they are not organized enough to do this. I once waited for 3 hours—I had a 3:30 appointment and didn’t get seen until 6:30! I would say the average wait time is about 45 minutes. On the plus side though, if you are pregnant and have any urgent concerns they will make sure to squeeze you in (thus also contributing to the long waits). If you are really in a rush, book an appointment with Dr. Chan. He is very fast and for basic problems that you might just need a prescription for he is fine. Otherwise, morning weekday appointments with Dr. Egbert usually also have a short wait. Dr. Li only works on Fridays and Saturdays there, and she usually comes directly from the hospital and can also be delayed depending on her obligations there. I also got into the habit of calling the office prior to my appointment to check if they are still on schedule. The admin ladies are usually pretty nice and will answer questions when asked directly, but are not very good at volunteering information. If you are having a baby, keep in mind that Dr. Li delivers at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, and the other two doctors deliver at NY Presbyterian in lower Manhattan. The majority of the staff can speak both English and either Mandarin or Cantonese fluently; Dr. Egbert is not a Chinese speaker, but the other staff members are available to translate if necessary. I was happy with the care that I received from Dr. Li, especially while I was at the hospital. Like I said, I would give her five stars, but am leaving a three star review because of how the office is run. They have fantastic doctors; if they can work on the administrative component then this could be a really excellent facility.

If you want to wait at least two hours ( a literal minimum) for your appt time , you are in the right place .

Not really sure why they stack the appointments the way they do. Had 4 patients all for 1:00PM for the SAME doctor. No wonder the waits are abnormally long. Doesn’t really make sense like that. A patients time is equally as valuable and every time I come here I wait a minimum of 1 hour at least. I’ve been here a total of 4 times. It’s insane. They need to fix this system. Only reason I come back is because Dr. Angie Li is great.

Only writing this review as a warning for someone who may be considering: this facility is very unprofessional. I see the intent to try but no effort in maintaining professionalism at all. So many red flags Ive experienced and I work in healthcare so to witness it all is unbelievable.

Stay away! My girlfriend was going there, she was deceived about what medications were available to her, and now shes frantically looking for a new doctor as she struggles with medication poisoning. My girlfriend takes a medication for epilepsy and she takes Lovora. It is well understood that these two medications interact with each other. However, my girlfriend and her long-time neurologist found a great balance. She’s been on both meds for a decade with no issues. But when my girlfriend started seeing Dr. Egbert, suddenly these meds are “dangerous.” Egbert refuses to prescribe the Lovora. Though Egbert said she would call the neurologist to check. The neurologist says she never received any calls, Egbert claims she called two or three times. As it turns out, without the Lovora, the level of epilepsy meds become dangerously high. Apparently Dr. Egbert didn’t know this would happen. My girlfriend began having episodes of double vision and vertigo. After a few days she realized this isn’t going away, so better call a doctor. Her doctor said she might be having a stroke, so better to go to the ER. After 9 hours in the Emergency Room a couple of neurologists determined the problem was from going off the Lovora. When they were told that her new gynecologist took her off because of some overzealous concern she had, one neurologist just shook his head and another said, “well, hopefully her intentions were good.”The other day my girlfriend called Dr. Egbert and told her the story, hoping that she would change her mind. She didn’t. Egbert just kept repeating that the combination is dangerous and that she doesn’t feel comfortable prescribing it.If Egbert had just said from the very beginning that she didn’t want to prescribe this drug, my girlfriend could have found a different gynecologist who would. Instead, Egbert strung her along for a month while she may or may not have tried to call the neurologist. If Dr. Egbert had been more sincere up front. This all could have been avoided. My girlfriend has had to cancel work, lose money, and lose time. Currently she can’t go outside without accompaniment in case she’s struck with Vertigo. Thanks, Dr. Egbert.

I wish I can give a negative star. I went there for a check up and they asked me to come back for the test result. I have asked if I could call for the test result if its unnecessary for me to go back since I dont live close by. They still insisted to ask me to go back to the office. So I went back to the office next week and they told me everything is normal but ended up I got an office visiting bill for $130.00 and on top of that my insurance has already paid $95.00. This is just completely ridiculous. Please dont go to this office, all they want just your money!!!!

The wait time wasnt as long as everyone says it is. I came in at my appointment time and was seen shortly. The nurses took my vitals and I was seen by the doctor 10 minutes after. Dr. Neha Egbert was very nice and informative. I will definitely continue seeing her!

WORST experience I’ve ever had with doctor administration. The doctor was fine but the office was so bad. They charged me the full amount (over $100) for my visit as a “deposit” then took a MONTH to refund it back to me. I had to call 10 times and physically visit the office again. Wait time for appointments is easily an hour. If you can wait a few days for a better office, do.

I had an appointment with Dr. Li in the afternoon with two patient ahead of me. After seeing many reviews about the long wait time i was a bit worried, but i was called fairly quickly after having my vitals checked by the nurse. Dr. Li was very professional and patient answering my concerns. Although the staff speaks very little English, they were very courteous during my visit. I will continue to see Dr. Li as my OBGYN in the future!

I had an appointment. Still had to wait two and a half hours. The office was dirty. No hand sanitizer anywhere. The bathroom had no paper towels to wipe hands. The front desk kept telling everyone who complained about the wait “you only have one or two people ahead of you”. The doctor Angie was kind and professional. If she moves to a better office, I’d definitely return as her patient. But as long as she is located at this facility I’m not going anywhere near it.

The worst experience ever, I had an appointment at 5pm. And I’ve waited there for 2 hours, all the patients arrived after me had seen the doctor, when I asked the front desk lady, I think you are forgetting me, she seemed had no clue who I was. And then the nurse told me because they arrived earlier than me, I explained to her the one who just went insid to see the doctor arrived 1 hour and half after me, instead to apologize and try to fix it, she just walked away. I’m thinking why are they feeling ok to waste patients time like that, they don’t feel ashame at all. I end up walked away with seeing the doctor, the management is such a mess. I’ve been seeing doctors here for more than 3 years, I guess no more.
