I had my first visit with Dr. Leonard this week and I absolutely loved him. I was nervous leading up to the appointment, but felt very comforted by his presence and the way he spoke to me. Very informative, gave me space to ask any questions I had. Also very personable and had a sense of humor that was subtle and appreciated. You can tell he’s been doing this for a long time and has impressive experience. I am so glad he is my doctor and definitely trust him.

My entire experience with Dr. Leonard was great. I started with him at 8 weeks pregnant and I am now 7 weeks post partum. My experience during pregnany and for labor were both wonderful and I couldnt have asked for a better doctor or team of nurses by my side. I always felt safe and in good hands. Would absolutely return to Dr. Leonard if I were having another baby and recommend him to anyone I know!

Very good experience, Dr Leonard took all the precautions at the start of my pregnancy with all necessary tests due to my age >35 yo, which allowed to detect a chromosome abnormality and so I had to terminate my pregnancy. Dr Leonard was very reassuring about the procedure and the future, I felt in the best hands at the hospital. The entire staff is very caring and professional. During the recovery, I still have some concerns and Dr Leonard always answers very quickly to my questions, even if he has to repeat several times as English is not my native language! I will continue with Dr Leonard for my next future pregnancy and I recommend him.

Dr. Leonard is professional and caring, takes time to answer questions and the practice runs on time! Only overlapped with one other person in the waiting room and there was plenty of space to spread out so felt very safe covid wise.

I had the most amazing birthing experience with Dr. Garrick Leonard! He delivered my baby girl on May 12, 2019 (Mothers Day). She came on her exact expected due date. Dr.Leonard was very professional and calm during my delivery which in turn allowed for me to not panic. He coached me through the pushing and my baby girl was out of the womb in 13 minutes flat! I had 2nd degree rip and he basically put me back together perfectly which made for a great healing process. As a first time mom, leading up to my labor and delivery I had TONS of questions during my doctors visits and he answered them all without hesitation. Also the hospital Dr. Leonard is affiliated with and where I delivered was NYP - Weill Cornell. What a beautiful hospital and amazing staff of nurses!! They took great care of me. Everyone was so professional, nurturing and helpful. One nurse let forehead to forehead with me to help calm me when I was panicking about the pain getting an epidural... and it ended up not hurting. They also taught my husband and I all the basics of taking care of a newborn fromBreastfeeding, burping, how to properly hold, take the temperature etc. I am forever grateful for these women!! I will 100% be delivering my second baby at this hospital with Dr. Garrick Leonard!

Dr. Leonard helped me deliver my two girls. He’s great. He is very straightforward, a man of few words that focuses on the essential info you need to get, which we very much like. He is always ready and available if you need anything.

I absolutely love Dr. Leonard. I had the worst pregnancy you can think of. Severe hyperemesis that lasted 7 months, a mettalic taste in the month that lasted all 9 months and in general lost 35 pounds and did not gain the required weight and was a first time mum at 36 yeara. Guess what Dr. Leonard did not panic, nor did he ever make me feel i should be worried. He just treated me with calm and gave me ample time to ask questions. I also appreciated that on the appointments we went with my husband, he allowed him to ask so many questions and acknowledged that my husband was equally important in this journey. He was honest and at the same time caring and kind. I could have not found a better doctor and could have not got through this pregnancy without him. I did not deliver with him unfortunately because he was not the doctor on call but the one who was Dr. Haighton was fantastic, so encouraging and it was a breeze. Dr. Leonard came twice to visit me twice in my hospital room. I highly recommend Dr. Leonard and strangely enough miss our appointments with him because my visits with him made me feel so calm despite my sickness with the pregnancy. If you want a doctor who is patient, caln, kind, treats you like an regular pregnant woman without always bringing up your age and one who is exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced, then yes he is the ONE!!!!!!
