Dr. Charles Ascher-Walsh and his fantastic team were God-sent. Upon meeting him, I knew he was the Surgeon for me. What I love about him the most is that he’s a real person, no bluff. He and his team treated me like a human being and took time to answer all my questions. I am so happy I underwent surgery with him. I highly recommend him.

I saw Dr. Charles Ascher-Walsh a while ago. I decided to go to him because of the great reviews but I was disappointed. I never felt welcome in his office. I’m very easy going, I’m very respectful and have experience dealing with fibroids, since unfortunately it wasn’t my first one. I consulted him for a huge fibroid that needed to be removed. He recommended NOT to remove it unless it was giving me a hard time but my fibroid was the size of a small soccer ball that was clearly protruding and making me anemic, had me in so much pain, etc. I wasn’t even thoroughly examined before he came to his conclusion. He was done in just couple minutes! I then inquired about their natural supplement to fight fibroids and they handed me a business card for their “FIBROVA” and told me I needed to look it up online. We’re putting ourselves on their hands and their care but there’s no warmth and no connection to what the health issue was. I felt like a business $. Very poor bedside manners. The whole experience was very cold and uncomfortable. Luckily I found a great and expert surgeon who was able to handle this fibroid and told me that the fibroid was so big that it was starting to die from the inside out which would’ve made me really sick. I’m glad I followed my instinct and did not listen to Dr. Ascher-Walsh!

Has absolutely no bedside manner. I was schedule to have a cyst removed and the day of surgery they ran my blood work and checked my urine several times and made me wait over an hour only to tell me that I was pregnant. I thought that the cyst wasnt allowing me to get pregnant and that is why I wanted to remove it. The Dr. Arscher Walsh comes in and tells me the news and says that we can still go on with the surgery and most likely since it was my 1st pregnancy it wasnt going to stick anyway. Who the hell says that??? I was mortified to hear such a thing coming from a doctors mind. I told him I am not risking any surgery and being drugged up while pregnant and that we are canceling it! Lo and behold I had a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby and another healthy baby 2 yrs later. Now I am terrified and scared to get my cyst removed and do not know where or who to turn to. Most doctors do it for the money and not to help people!

An excellent doctor, a very competent surgeon with a great bedside manner. Highly recommended! Dr Ascher-Walsh is a step above, with impeccable educational credentials; overall he and his office are among the best of anywhere Ive been. I wouldnt go anywhere else knowing hes here in NYC. The support team was less than impressive so expect to stay on top of things that hes not managing directly. For example my D & C was done without any meds or anesthesia because someone forgot to order them.

Dr. Ascher-Walsh is THE BEST of the BEST!!! I have never had a major surgery before. I was extremely nervous and scared until I met with him. He is very personable , passionate and caring. After my first appointment with him, I knew I was in good hands. His Surgical Coordinator, Crystal Suarez is so phenomenal. She is attentive, professional and was there anytime I had a question. Dr. Asher-Walsh and Crystal are the dream team. They are excellent. The world would be a better place with more professionals like them. Everything went so well, if I were asked to go through the process again, I would without any hesitation. That is how confident I am with his work. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Dr. Ascher-Walsh is a wonderful doctor! I had seen so many doctors to help with my condition with no success. He was super knowledgeable, patient and professional. He treated me like a human being. He and his team are one of the best and I am so happy I underwent surgery with him. I highly recommend him.

I have no idea why the low reviews LET PEOPLE KNOW THE TRUTH , !!!!! Dr Walsh is such an amazing surgeon, so professional kind and caring, I never had a surgery before until I had my uterus removed, unbelievable but true, it was the best experience ever in a doctor office and surgery room , when I woke up Dr Walsh was there next to me, I had my surgery in the am and sent home around 7ish pm, 10 years after no complains at all.

He did my sugery. Which went well but follow up was terrible. Patient information onrecovery and how to prevent adhesions which I m suffering from now was not provided. His PA Nicole should not be allowed to practice in this field. DR Walsh relys too much on his pAs hell my post op follow up was with one of them. Nicole is cold, and thinks she is a dr when she isnt. a dr Id only as good as his staff.

Dr. Charles Ascher-Walsh is a great doctor and an even better surgeon. I was referred to him by another doctor at Mount Sinai. Im so glad I followed the advice. I was told hes a one of the best in his field and he is. Great professional manner, makes you comfortable in exam room, great nurse and staff. From my first visit a year ago to my surgery in July of this year, Dr. Ascher-Walsh has been outstanding. His team as well...very informative, given all the pros/cons/options for surgery. Day of surgery...each member of his team introduced themselves and explained what theyd be doing for me in the operating suite. I went in to surgery feeling confident in their abilities...surgery went better than expected. Just awesome all around. Highly recommend.

He saved my life. He did fibroid surgery on me and I developed a clot in my lungs. He immediately ordered the needed procedures to help me.He even called my mother in the Caribbean and explained everything to her.

Dr Ascher-Walsh is an understanding doctor who tells you all the best options. He never just picks up the knife. The other staff members all work with him as an United family. The best care!!!

Dr. Ascher-Walsh performed my surgery to remove my fibroids via a laproscopic procedure. it was a success. I never had any problems. I was 42 then and now Im 56 and I feel great.

This Doctor and his staff is the real deal..He is a great Surgeon and will guide you all the way thru surgery so u feel less nervous and more optimistic..

Dr. Ascher Walsh performed my fibroid(s) removal through robotic myomectomy. I am pleased with the result FIBROIDS FREE!!! I am very grateful to Dr. Ascher Walsh and his medical team. He was able to save my uterus and perform a surgery other doctors said was impossible in my case. It feels amazing to enjoy life without the horrible symptoms of fibroids! Forever grateful and blessed!!

Dr. Ascher-Walsh and his staff are amazing! Prior to seeing him, I spent 2 months terrified that I had ovarian cancer, I was referred to an oncologist and had my surgery set up for the following week. Thank God my sister-in-law (whom works with Dr. Ascher-Walsh) convinced me go into the city to see him for a 2nd opinion. Not only did he put my mind at ease, he doesnt even think its cancer. He was able to make sense and explain 20+years of medical mysteries that no other doctor could. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and were able to explain everything, in detail to me. Now I am actually looking forward to having my surgery done (cysts due to endometriosis) My only regret is not going to him in the first place. I highly recommend Dr. Ascher-Walsh and his staff. Theyre very professional, knowledgeable, compassionate but most of all caring.

Ascher-walshs 5-start reviews are fake reviews. He didnt learned much in medical school but is allowed to be a surgeon. Also, he also holds some title in his job. Its a pure joke. He should be barred even to touch a frog. Ascher-walsh is a highly dangerous person being put in a critical profession of being a doctor. If he happens to screw your body, he is good at getting away from it. Correct, thats his expertise -- fake reviews plus getting away from liabilities.

Dr. Ascher- Walsh is a remarkable and compassionate surgeon! After consulting 2 surgeons (regarding a Myomectomy) who told me they couldnt remove all my fibroids and preserve my uterus or wanted to give me a vertical incision (yikes) a friend insisted I see Dr. AW.I immediately felt that at ease, he assured me he would remove my 10 fibroids and preserve my uterus so that I could carry children AND i he could give me a bikini incision! His confidence and assurance made me feel 100O% sure that i could put my uterus, future ability to carry children and life in his capable hands!During surgery he discovered I had not 10 but 38 fibroids!! The largest was 12cm! He expertly removed them ALL and saved my uterus! I was only in the hospital 1 night and was able to recover at home. He and his dream team gave me back my life and I am forever indebted to them!! If you have to have a Myomectomy theres really no reason to see anyone else! He is simply the BEST!!
