My son has been a patient of Dr. Mauskop for several years.We have compete faith in him as he is a brilliant doctor as well as being kind and compassionate. He has always made himself available to us with utter concern and attention. Anyone who is fortunate to be his patient will agree Im certain.

A friend recommended Dr. Crystal to me, and I feel so fortunate that she did. Dr. Crystal is the most wonderful doctor and she has helped me so much. She is not only an excellent doctor but she is also extremely caring. She takes a lot of time with me, and is a great listener. Dr. Crystal has many tools to help with migraine and my condition has greatly improved since Ive been her patient. I also sent my niece to her and she has been doing much better. Additionally, the staff in the office are pleasant and helpful. Any time I meet someone in my situation, I tell them about the NY Headache Center.

I went through many headaches doctors before I came to Dr. Mauskop. He was the first one who actually listened to all my symptoms and put all the pieces together. His expertise in administering Botox was excellent, and I saw a reduction in the intensity of my migraine pain. The office is a pleasant experience and the wait time is very short and sometimes nonexistent. They are very helpful with paperwork and insurance reimbursement. Overall, I am way better than I was, and I can’t thank the doctor enough.

Dr. Mauskop is an extremely caring doctor. He is totally available to his patients during and after office hours if needed. He is very knowledgable and is up to date on all the new innovations to help migraines.I am fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I rarely write online reviews, but my experience with Dr. Sara Crystal was so fantastic that I felt I must share. She truly went above and beyond to help me with my headache management process. In addition to being an attentive and thoughtful listener, she also reached out to other neurologists in her network to find answers to my specific questions. She recommended - and gave me several samples of - a new medication that has proven incredibly effective. At the time that I first saw Dr. Crystal, she was merely seeing me as a courtesy while my other doctor was away. However, she was so engaged and so incredibly helpful that I have now become a regular patient of hers. To be fair, all of the doctors (and staff) at NY Headache Center have been very supportive and helpful, and my experience with them has been consistently very positive. Im grateful to them all...but Dr. Crystal is truly noteworthy in her commitment to patients.

Dr. Mauskop helped a great deal with my migraines. He is kind and responsive, and best of all, he gives you lots of very effective and natural options to treat your headaches without necessarily having to resort to pharmaceuticals (if you don’t want to). His office staff were nice as well. I did not regret going to him and would recommend him whole-heartedly.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Mauskop’s attentive and extremely knowledgeable care. While I had seen several prior neurologists, it was only until visiting the center that I received a diagnosis that fit closely, and a plan to address it. When we hit some bumps on the road, Dr. Mauskop was available at all hours and fine tuned a backup plan. I feel his care is personalized and patient. I’m so grateful to have found the center!

The NY Headache Center and, in particular, Dr. Sara Crystal, have helped me tremendously. After suffering with migraines for over 15 years and seeing a local neurologist and always being in the ER, I made the choice to try the NY Headache Center. It is night & day. The women at the front desk were so kind and easy to work with when calling and desperately needing an appointment ASAP. They helped me locate the forms to fill in before my visit so I wouldnt have to fill everything out in the office. They were so patient, I was in extreme pain when I called and they understood and were so helpful. I saw Olga Nesta a NP there & she suggested many treatments and medications to try. The paperwork you fill out is completely different than the typical forms from the neurologist. If you have migraines ... this is the place to go 100%. They are very helpful & I strongly recommend them!

I have been coming here for years and now that I dont live in NYC I travel here every quarter for my shots. Truly the best staff and doctors.

They wont take any new patients with Medicare. I guess Senior Citizens arent very important anymore.

The Doctors are caring but the reception and insurance handling staff are heartless. Machines without a drop of empathy. That doesnt matter when things go well but it makes all the difference when you have a problem, need an urgent appointment or when you have insurance issues. Absolutely terrible. Made me cry on two occasions.

I didnt even get an appointment! The reception desk is very rude! No empathy at all. She said to me I cant even get you in today ! I never asked to be seen today , I was just trying to explain what was going on with me and what tests I had in the last week. Smh

Dr Mauskop has charted my lifelong battle with severe headaches the last 5 years.Each time I have the good fortune of meeting with him, Dr. Mauskop solves another piece of the puzzle.His most recent innovation is supplying TENS, with electrical stimulation that has had an immediate beneficial effect on my headaches and is reducing the usage of medication.Dr Mauskop has improved my life in many other areas of health, because of his keen insights and holistic approach.
