Some of the medical staff seem competent and everyone is friendly and helpful while you are there. Unfortunately it amounts to nothing because of hold times of minimum 30 minutes every time you need to contact them, even about something minor like a prescription refill. They do not respond to messages through Connect. Frequently after the 30+ minute hold they tell you someone will call you back, which doesnt always happen. This time they simply hung up on me. I have been on hold for 1.5 hours today alone just trying to get a prescription refill, never mind treatment for my urgent and serious conditions.

I’m now 39 weeks pregnant. I’ve been coming here since I was 14 weeks and everything was fine staff were friendly. Up until two weeks ago when they started asking me to come in weekly they would schedule me for an appointment AND LEAVE ME THERE FOR TWO HOURS FOR A DOCTOR TO SEE ME. Yesterday I had an anxiety attack because I thought my water broke and the nurse was so uncaring and left me for two hours. I had to stand in the middle of the hallway and yell and cry for the damn doctor to see me. My appointment was at 3:45 pm I was there earlier as per request. The doctor saw me at 5:15. This is unacceptable!!!!

Im pretty sure Ive reviewed this hospital badly already, but this deserves being added....Ive been trying for over ONE YEAR to get my Mammogram results from them. They were transferred over from one hospital to Weill-Cornell...ONE YEAR . I have anomalies, I need those results for comparison. One of their employees actually hung up on me when I asked about them. She was rude and acted like I should know every rule that W-C has about medical records. I asked her to tell me which of those rules applied to me, she hung up. The Dr. that my records show has them wont even return my phone calls. Oh and, there is NO phone number for the administrative office that I could find, so no complaints to the actual place. Id rather die than go to this hospital. Id probably die in there from lack of care.

Great doctors but they must underpay their staff. I called to cancel an appointment and their receptionist screamed that I was chewing in her ear and I was being rude. She actually yelled it. Truth is, I had a cough drop in my mouth, and if she had told me nicely that I was being rude, I would have apologized and made nice nice. But she yelled Maam can you stop chewing in my ear please and I said you must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed she said I was being rude.. .. when I asked her for her name, she hung up on me.... very bad customer service... really.... really bad attitude... she told me she hadnt eaten and found it really rude that I was chewing in her ear... wow... I like the professionals but that one should not be working with the public... dont know her name, cause she wouldnt tell it to me.... that was a sign that she was in the wrong...

Only thing I hate out this place is that you change your doctors every 2 years or so which is why I have to give them only 4 stars.. But I love that they (the Doctors, residents, nurses, and supporting staff) make sure nothing is left unchecked, check to make sure your experience was great and that you walk away feeling better than you felt when you came in. Sometimes there is a long wait and they may run a bit behind but when your time comes they never seem to rush you out because of it.

As a new patient they made me wait an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment that I made over 2 months in advance. front desk is rude, not there to help or assist. Oh and if you call them dont expect them to pick up at any hours of any day. Called at different hours on different days and was on hold for over an hour each time and then finally gave up. Terrible service from Weill Cornell.

This place is a complete disaster! They are so incompetent that the insurance company, whom recommended them, now is investing them.

I was on hold from 3:30pm to 4:30pm and nobody picked yet at 4:30pm I did get a message saying the office is now closed. The level of incompetence at the reception area is unparalleled. There is no way a patient or doctor should be on hold that long. Wouldnt it be smart to have a center just for calls that didnt have to deal with patients being signed in. This place is the worst.

Worst staff I ever dealt with, speaking one professional to another, never had such unprofessionalism by an answering service, of a Naomi picks up, you have a better chance of just hanging up and talking into the phone. Doesn’t give you a chance to speak with her rude obnoxious attitude, and she will hang up on you....you have a better chance using another medical provider

Impossible to talk with anybody at the New Patient line. Another Weill Cornell practice referred me to Weill Cornell Internal Medicine Associates that is supposed to accept my HealthFirst insurance. Put on hold directly by their representative, I hung up after waiting 10 minutes. They obviously suffer from a lack of staff. But this is a medical facility, not an electronics store where they take better care of their clients!

The staff that answers the phones to make appointments and take medicine refill orders is HORRIBLE!!!....I have been on hold for up to 43 min just to get a person on the phone. This system needs to change they keep doctors are on hold also. This can create a deadly chain of events for someone

Very disappointing experience trying to get a first appointment with anyone in this practice. You spend several minutes getting to the right number, then you are told no one is available, am currently waiting over 2 hours with no call back.
