The gym is very nice and the reception people are very friendly, I dont workout there, I only buy açaí bowl in the beach bowl, which is inside the gym.

A pleasant and bright atmosphere. Outdoor pool is a relaxing and unusual feature plus there is an indoor lap pool as well. Would be a nice place for coliving/digital nomads.

Clean and convenient with new equipment and lots of group classes. The staff are so kind and helpful, especially Franz at the front desk!

Been a member for 2 years now! It’s the best place to work out - clean, best staff on site, well maintained and awesome! The energy in the place is awesome - kudos to the staff and fellow members who work out there!During the pandemic era, they have taken so many precautions that made all of us feel comfortable working out.And playa bowls is right inside for post workout snack!

This fitness club has two swimming pools, a gym, open air area, and an açaí store.

My friend is doing a comedy show there next month the gyn is amazing. And the parts are epic

Poor management. Never calls back for inquiries. It took nearly 3 weeks to talk to “general manager” or someone basic stuffs about membership. I’d give zero star if possible

Fantastic gym with wonderful staff and great amenities including indoor/outdoor pools, boxing gym, basketball court, classes etc.

The gym is clean and everyone who works there is polite and human :) Id like to take this chance to say how wonderful Will has been as my personal trainer! Hes fun, interesting and engaging. He has made it a joy to come into the gym and do my workouts!

Location is tough based on where we live being on Central Park South almost a 25 minute walk.

Great gym and facilities

When I lived in Hell’s Kitchen I’d hang out here with friends and work out. Lots of hot New York people, great equipment and a cool outdoor movie screen. The place is crawling with hotness and fun. Just wish they didn’t run out of towels sometimes. Other than that, fun.

A terrific health club. Excellent staff, clean & well maintained facilities, and not overly crowded. Aside from just the fitness related facilities, plenty of indoor & outdoor lounge space to work or relax from. Normally, Im not an active reviewer, but I couldnt recommend this place more.

Modern great facilities

I loved being a member of Mercesdes Club! Great equipment, and I particularly enjoyed the boxing room, the sauna, pool table, lots of space to stretch and do my rehab, and the general relaxing environment and space to study. Perfect for while I was living in New York and I’d go back. Thank you!

The Mercedes Club is truly an urban oasis. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating from the moment you walk in at the front desk. From their huge range of quality fitness classes, to their ultra-clean facilities, to the vibrant culture at all of their events, the club has everything I needed in health & wellness.The member base is fantastic as well, and you have the opportunity to meet many unique and impressing people with whom you can build relationships with.Personally, I utilized the club to train for triathlon, train HIIT, lift weights, do yoga, and recover.I highly recommend the Mercedes Club for anyone and everyone.

Solid club, very well kept. The GM is great, really cares about her members. I love all of the spaces available to chill out or work... Nice addition to the standard equipment. Also, I love both pools!

Ive been a member at Mercedes Club for years and I LOVE this place! All of the gym equipment is top-notch, the personal trainers and spa services are all excellent, and everyone is really friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful, spacious, and very bright, and I love making use of the two pools and the variety of classes. Ive always felt like I get everything I want from a gym here, plus a little more. I also love working by the fireplace in the wintertime!

Great Staff

Beautiful facility that is always clean and bright. There are both an indoor lap pool and an outdoor leisure pool. Both can get a bit crowded at times, but if youre able to come at off hours its excellent. They also have a tapas bar and lots of other amenities. Its a pleasure to work out here.

Cute spot

The gym is incredibly clean, and the staff is really sweet and most of the gym clientele is too. Amazing class offerings, and they are always willing to listen to your feedback. For the membership, its an incredible deal - oasis in Manhattan! Its not a perfect 5-star purely for the fact that a certain staff member isnt really welcoming compared to others and sometimes the staff can be pushy when guests are signed in.

Service and cleanliness have deteriorated over the years. Emails sent to the GM are rarely responded to and never acted upon or followed up on.My credit card expired and rather than call or email informing me, they instead immediately charged me a huge late fee. The email was sent the day of the charge. They also increased my fee without notifying me beforehand.

I hold the membership for the past 6 months. It makes me mostly happy with the service and equipment. I like the pool and the basketball court, but the boxing room is too tight. It gets busy during the after work hours.

Not very busy most of the time and great amenities. 50cent works out here sometimes. Not very lenient management. Showers could be cleaner and more inviting.

They have plenty of equipment of same type, you can use one machine all day long with out any disturbance. Their trainers are good actually so good and they have nice and clean place too.

A great place to live. Great sites. There are many services offered here. The location is fantastic.

Hope the pool is actually open when you go. Lots of special events and cleanings during peak hours. All of the showers never work and the poolside shower is useless. Weekends are a red solo cup frat party. Oh and that paleo, gluten free cafe please....but Lovely front desk people!!

The positives - spacious for Manhattan, lots of exercise equipment, indoor/outdoor pools, half basketball court, multiple studios, recreation area, large locker rooms, showers, sauna and steam room. The place is always super clean. The negative - wish staff was less clueless and cared more about the jobs (though most of the staff is very nice).

Im going to The Mercedes club for last 5 years. The club has 2 pools and plenty of classes. In the beginning all stuff was very professional. Unfortunately, they start to hire people with inappropriate attitude. Some of them are very noisy annoying rood. Specifically lady named Dominique, the consultant. Im usually do not write bad reviews. I feel very disappointed , because the club have been my home gym for years.An update on the review. First. My review on Yelp was removed as an inappropriate. Second, the consultant never apologize. Instead she stated harassing my by sending emails to my personal email. What is next?

Decent enough gym, I only explored the pool facilities which are pretty much standard in my experience. Nothing out of the ordinary but I suppose decent enough.Only downside is that they tie you up for a year.

Nice gym but not sure why they always do all their cleaning during the busiest times. Its not open 24/7 so please do it off the hours. Its so annoying when you do squats and someone is mopping under you.

Not only is this a great place to keep fit (great, clean facilities and two pools), its a good spot to unwind, grab a bite or do some work. The common area is huge and comfortable.

Kickboxing area is tiny... The rest of the gym is nice. Need more aerobic rooms...

Horrible experience ..complete scam .. dont buy any gilt for them they offer it and let it expire before they redeem it .. unless you can go during their business hours from 10-7 and hardly anyone is attentive .. and God forbid you get a MANAGER ... MATT is the by far the worst manager I have ever ever spoken with. arrogant and rude.. dont expect him to investigate a problem or do anything to help you out with any issue by far the worst person ever

Great cafeteria and relaxing areas.

A very poorly managed club. Mercedes should be embarrassed to have its name attached to this club. While the facilities are reasonable, there are many obvious signs of poor management. Rules and guidelines for pool use are limited offering confusion when more than three people show up to swim. In addition kids are often using two of the tree lanes available further complicating usage. Rules that are posted are not enforced; such as cell phone use. Deviant sexual behavior between same sexes is also rampant and on display and is tolerated rather than prohibited.Really disgusting when you get right down to it!
