Extremely poor customer service. Very disappointed with the staff - particularly when issues are raised with the managers (Alisa and Nic). Im sure gym is fine but dealing with the membership services is one of the worst customer service experiences Ive had in a very long time - both extremely disrespectful to the customer and completely unhelpful. Also - all the older reviews are totally accurate but Brick underwent a management change in 2020 and new management is night and day vs the awesome team running things previously. Just be very careful signing up with the new guys running Brick. Under new management, this place has gotten 2.5 stars on 4 google reviews - sounds about right for this place

So let me preface things by saying this place used to be a good place to come workout- that is no longer the case, they only focus on existing members and tend to ignore new members. It looks like the coaches workout more than the members, they love posting on instagram non-stop.Brick is a has been, when they had a location in Chelsea, the gym was a lot more functional and there were better coaches running the classes. Since then quality of classes has significantly nose dived- a lot of members and coaches defected from the gym and joined other gyms in the area- to avoid sounding like I am pumping up another gym, Ill refrain from making suggestions but just do a Google Maps search

Brick is a has been, unfortunately. Pre-covid, when the Chelsea location was open, it was one of the best gyms in the city- not so much anymore. The coaches don’t correct your form, and really just post posts of them working out on IG, especially Nic (really obnoxious).Check out the other gyms in the area, there are plenty of substitutes for HIIT or CrossFit ( to avoid sounding biased, in favor of another gym I won’t list them but Google can more than help.)Read the other negative reviews here and believe them. A lot of the positive reviews are self-written, by friends of the gym etc. Also, one more thing to note, all of the good coaches were essentially “fired” because of covid, but they kept the worst coaches imo. Go somewhere else!

Super effective workouts, everyone is really nice & helpful here, instructors are clear and demonstrate proper form of exercises. BFIT was tough but so worth it - it went by fast because you’re constantly switching it up.

Brick New York is the best gym Ive ever been to. The instruction is amazing and the workouts are great. But the customer service here is absolutely amazing. I accidentally left an air pod at the gym as well as a watch and both were returned to lost and found by the front desk staff. You guys are amazing and this is so much more than a gym...its a wonderful community. Brick NYC youre amazing!

I did a noon drop in on a Thursday. Small but friendly class. Easy to find location. Very clean space. Helpful front desk staff and solid coaching. Programming was right on par for CF Open prep, which was nice. Overall a very positive experience.

My favorite fitness studio in the city. Every workout here is super hard and challenging and the instructors are fabulous.

Not bad. Not great. They don’t post their workouts. Thus, the programming the day I was able to drop in was nothing I couldn’t have done in my hotel. Warm up didn’t really fit the workout (pull-ups and HSPU but didn’t warm up the shoulders adequately - added that warm up on my own.) No gov/military/law enforcement/visiting coach discount on $35 dollar drop in fee. I would rather have walked on to the next place.

Nice clean gym with a variety of challenging classes, including CrossFit. There are numerous classes available throughout each day, providing me with a flexible workout schedule. The group workouts are challenging and each class is slightly different, so the workout is never dull. The trainers are friendly and motivational, allowing you to workout at your pace and ability within the group setting.

Brick is best described as a hybrid between a crossfit box and boutique gym. The facility is spacious and includes both barbell and conditioning classes. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the classes are high energy. Ive dropped in at both the Chelsea and Midtown locations and have had great experiences at both. Whether youre passing through or looking to commit to a box, Its definitely worth checking out.

Ive been a member at Brick for a year now and I love it! I was skeptical of crossfit for a few years and then finally decided I had to try it. In Brick I found a great community of trainers and members that love fitness and want everyone to succeed to be their best. If youre looking to try something new in fitness, become fitter, or meet great people that support you inside and outside of the gym, I highly recommend joining Brick New York! The Grand Central gym in particular is brand new, 2 blocks from Grand Central Station and has classes including Crossfit, BX (HIIT workouts), Yoga, Mobility and Barbell/Olympic Lifting Technique.
