Ive been with Nimble for over two years. Before that I worked out with personal trainers for over a decade at places including Equinox, Golds, and more.I wasnt sure what to expect from a personal training-only gym, but Daniel, Kaz, and team have been fantastic. I can tell that they really know physical fitness and wellness - they sense how to push you when youre ready, when to help you recover when youre not, and are always encouraging and friendly.During the pandemic they were extra supportive with remote options (my body and mind really appreciated that!), and now it feels amazing to be back in the gym with them again. Highly recommended!

I have been a client for two years now. This team knows their fitness! They train you smart, not just hard. I always feel they have my long-term health in mind when I am training with them. Nice studio in a convenient location. Also, their video training is a seamless transition when I am not able to make it in person. I highly recommend Daniel, Kaz and the team!

I’ve worked out at Nimble (primarily with Daniel) for roughly two years. Thanks to their expertise, encouragement, and care, I’m far stronger and fitter. Plus - my posture is so much better that I’m half and inch taller(!).I always feel challenged and that I’ve gotten an amazing workout. (This is no cookie cutter gym; everything is tailored to your body and your goals). Everyone in the studio is great - warm, supportive, friendly, and deeply experienced. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every cent.

My spouse and I dropped in last night for a workout and enjoyed it. The coach and members were friendly and welcoming. The facility is nice with lots of room and all the usual CF equipment. I would definitely recommend dropping in if you are in the area.

Nimble -goer for over a decade. Our whole family (teens, twenties and fifties) enjoys working out here. Trainers attuned to our varying energies, goals and limitations. Jason is warm, encouraging and always challenging. Nimble has created a community and is inviting and motivating.

Best training experience I have ever had. Jason is tremendously knowledgeable and our remote workouts over the past year have been transformative. He has also worked wonders with several friends who are coping with specific physical challenges. Jason and Nimble Fitness are amazing!!!

I cant recommend this place enough. About a year ago, I saw a sandwich board on the sidewalk saying, Free fitness assessment outside a small gym. I took note, went home, and emailed them to set up a time to come in. This place is the real deal.Jason, one of the owners, completed my assessment and pinpointed the root issues Ive had for years in a matter of minutes -- no other trainer or physical therapist has been able to do this in my lifetime. Ive been training with Jason for a year now, and Ive never felt better. I have completely transformed my body inside and out -- and Im someone who thought they knew a good amount about fitness despite having chronic issues (Ive run several marathons, have a yoga teaching certification, and formerly taught group fitness).Net net -- Nimbles trainers are experts. They take the time to understand how to help their clients help themselves to create lasting change. Go here. You wont regret it.

I stumbled across Nimble Fitness while looking for a personal trainer to solve my back issues. Jason did my assessment and he was incredible!! He knew exactly what the problem was and put a program in place. Last year, I went through a pregnancy while training with Jason. Still no back issue! He also solved the back issue that my girlfriend had while pregnant. Also, he has a lot of experience with pregnant women. Jason is amazing!!! I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!

Nimble is the greatest! I started working with Jason several years ago, following multiple sports related, knee surgeries, and I feel stronger than ever! Jason always strikes the balance between creating difficult workouts, but also strengthening my muscles to prevent further injury. I was virtually training with Keith during the peak of the pandemic. Keith is a gem. Ive always been really intimidated by gym culture, especially as a newbie. I feared looking like I didnt know what I was doing and being judged for it. Keith completely helped me to feel super comfortable starting from the beginning and embracing my fitness + nutrition journey . He coaches with kindness and helped me to understand everything I was doing. On top of that, he truly just cares about his clients. Every session he genuinely checked in to see how I was. As a Black woman, I felt safe with the Nimble team (which is priceless). I had to take a pause, but I cant wait to get started again!

I have been training with Keith Paine over Zoom for several months and it has been a life-saver! Keith is a consummate professional in every sense of the phrase, and he has figured out how we can get the most out of the virtual sessions. As someone who used to do mainly weights in the gym, these workouts have been nothing short of transformational, and I feel fitter, stronger and more balanced. I recently went on a hiking trip and I credit my stamina and endurance to these virtual workouts. Can’t recommend Keith and Nimble Fitness highly enough – the best!

Theres no place like Nimble for personal training. I came in with a history of back issues and after only a year, I am fit and strong and have better posture. I attribute this all to Daniel Lucas and his thoughtful, smart approach. You cant beat the studio vibe either - high touch, knowledgable and professional meets fun, relaxed, and unassuming. I was charged for rehab therapy after experiencing stroke 11 years ago by the hospital industry but it was never actually delivered to me. In recent years, I have used yoga and fitness classes of various types to continue my recovery, Then I met Jason Pulido, co-owner of Nimble, and after a one hour intake assessment, he scooed out my needs and goals and has been giving me exactly the physical and occupational therapy I needed at the outset of TBI to address the weakness on my left side consequent to my illness. I enjoyed membership at a chain studio and unlimited classes all week, but Jasons individualized care has given me renewed incentive and hope about continuing progress and recovery many years after injury. I hope to work with him regularly into the future, to full restoration of movement in my affected arm and hand.

Nimble Fitness is a great fitness studio. I do the online remote coaching and training. The systems Daniel has helped me use have shifted my mentality in approaching fitness. All of the staff is super helpful. The facilities are great and convenient if you live in the city. Good vibes, lots of education.

I reached out to Nimble Fitness back in January of 2018 for personal training because i had some new health issues that required close attention while working out. I was paired with Jason, one of the owners, and he brought me in for a courtesy evaluation. I had a good feeling about Jason, so I bought a few sessions and started training twice a week with Jason. It has been about 15 months now since I began training with Jason. In what I accomplish in one hour with him, would probably take me 3 days in a gym. Every session has a different game plan. It is never the same and we are always targeting different muscle areas in different combinations and with different techniques. Due to my health issue, Jason pays attention and makes sure that even though I want to work out a bit harder, I dont push myself to the point of passing out. On the flip side though, he keeps me accountable and does not let me cut corners, which is something I need.In addition to being a knowledgeable trainer, Jason has helped me with my eating habits, guiding me with what “healthy foods” are actually healthy, pressing me to decrease my drinking and taking a genuine interest in my nutrition.Putting aside my experience, in the sessions I visit the gym, I see a handful of regulars who seem to have great relationships with their trainers and who have been there since before I was going to Nimble.Working out at Nimble has definitely changed my body and my way of living. I am much stronger, fit and eat much healthier. I would recommend Jason and any of the other trainers at Nimble without hesitation.

I worked with Chris, Ali, Daniel, and Jason (personal training).Everyone was phenomenal. The team really works to make sure that your goals are being met. They place a strong emphasis on functionality and health, which I really appreciated. I feel like I gained a lot of strength without any risk of injury (which Ive struggled with in the past). Ive felt the healthiest Ive ever been since working out here!

I highly recommend Nimble, especially for people who have a hurdle or two to get over on their way to feeling better. Daniel has patiently helped me through a couple of long-held injuries; hes a magician when it comes to making pain go away. Occasionally Ill walk into a session limping and stiff and within a few hours will find that the problem has completely gone away. On top of that, everyone at Nimble is kind and attentive and tuned in to whats best for you.

When I moved away from New York, Daniel, my trainer at Nimble, suggested that we could do our sessions via FaceTime. Weve worked virtually for the last 9 months and it has been every bit as fantastic as coming to the Nimble studio to work out for the 2 years prior. Daniel adapted my gym workout to use objects I have around my house, and the continuity has been seamless. Daniel carefully crafts every exercise we do around my back and hypermobility issues and has helped me to not only avoid injury, but to make my body healthier and in better shape than ever before.

I have been a client of Nimble for many years. I am 63 years old and am in better shape than many young people I know. The difference between Nimble and other training centers Ive gone to is that they dont just work you, they work with you. On days I am not feeling well, instead of working my butt off and making me feel worse, my trainer Dan, can read me like a book and knows exactly the level to work me to keep me going and actually give me energy from our session instead of exhausting me. They take a whole body approach, encouraging proper nutrition, rest and stress reduction. His end of session shoulder massage hits the exact points that really need to be released. At this point I couldnt live without them.

After a series of sports-related injuries, I was referred to Nimble Fitness by a PT friend of mine. Ive been working one-on-one with one of their personal trainers, and its been a great experience all around. Theyve helped address some of my underlying weaknesses that needed attention, have been careful not to exacerbate any of my old injuries, and have been pushing me forward towards better and more well-rounded fitness--which, as anyone whos been on the bench for a long time after an injury knows, is not easy.

I trained at Nimble Fitness for a number of months and could not have asked for a better experience.In short: Incredibly knowledgable, very friendly welcoming atmosphere, top notch trainers, clean and convenient location, exercises 100% tailored to your needs, genuinely good people, and great results.I had a previous injury that had finally healed and wanted to get back to exercising on a regular routine and get in shape for my wedding. I researched a number of personal training facilities but Nimble Fitness stood out to me as a place that seemed to really know their stuff so I scheduled a consultation.Daniel promptly reached out to me and we scheduled a session. I was very impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. We did an assessment and I scheduled a number of sessions.I worked with another trainer Norris twice a week for a number of months. He was very knowledgable and friendly as well. My exercise was 100% tailored to my needs. I had great results and couldnt of asked for a better experience.When I ended my sessions Norris created a routine for me to continue working with based upon my needs and resources.I also recommended a friend who worked with Daniel and Norris as well and got a free session which is a nice gesture. He had a similar experience as myself.I would recommend Nimble Fitness to anyone.

The personal training is outstanding. From the initial evaluation six months ago, to the thoughtfulness of the progressive program that continues to evolve, I have made dramatically more progress than two previous attempts with other personal trainers. Ive had a personal trainer for a few years at Nimble. Now its Christina, who I see once a week. The owner (or co-owner) Daniel is there as well, training someone else, and I know he keeps a watchful eye on me. Christina always asks how I am feeling that day and quickly adjusts her planned routine according to what I tell her. She pushes me to do more than I think I can do, which is what I need. A few years ago I had a problem with my hip that dragged on, and, aside from my husband, Daniel was the one constant helping me deal with the problem. There were many doctors and practitioners, but only Daniel had the overall picture.

I had a great Experience at my Monday night TRX class. The facilities were clean and there was plenty of space in the studio. Terrells class was more intense than I anticipated, but he did a great job keeping everyone motivated and making sure all of the exercises were scalable up and down depending on ability. On top of that, the prices are very fair for NYC. I will be back.

I have been taking TRX classes at Nimble for 1 1/2 years and it is one of my favorite places in the city! I saw my body change faster with TRX than with any other class I have taken. The classes are always different and challenging. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I highly recommend giving Nimble a try!

I have been training at Nimble for a year and it has changed my life! Ive seen amazing results and feel terrific! My trainer Christina Perinhas always keeps our sessions exciting and challenging. I am constantly learning and applying new exercises. Training has given me the confidence to dive into Nimbles TRX classes which provide an incredible full body work-out. I walked into Nimble one day 2 years ago when I saw a flier for a free assessment - and Im so glad I did! Ive tried a few different gyms over the years, and always ended up quitting because I didnt enjoy the atmosphere - I felt intimidated or even unwelcome. But Nimble is different. Theres a super friendly and professional front desk staff (shout out to Grace, Will, and Elizabeth!) who make you feel welcome and are always happy to see you. Theres absolutely no hard sell, no 500 year contract you cant get out of, no pressure to add classes or sessions that you dont want to add. Just smart, knowledgeable, positive people encouraging you to believe in yourself as much as they believe in you. Theres an extensive intake process, which is designed to help match each clients personality, goals, and fitness style to the right trainer. Its very thoughtfully done, and thats how I ended up working with one of the partners, Jason Pulido.Since I started working with Jason, I actually like exercising! (Jason, if you read this - this does not include mountain climbers!) After years of only running when being chased, Im running 3-4 days a week, plus looking forward to getting out of bed and going to the gym. For a former couch potato, this is a huge and very welcome change. In addition, Jason has extensive knowledge of anatomy, rehabilitation, and kinesiology which adds a depth and thoughtfulness to our sessions. I had an old knee injury that made me afraid to run, jump, or kick - all things I now do on a regular basis with no pain. Im stronger, healthier, and more confident since I started working out at Nimble.The new St Marks space is beautiful - brand new equipment, spotlessly clean, bright and sunny! Both locations are just really pleasant, happy places to work out in - even when I show up sleepy and cranky, I leave happy...and a little sore! I cannot recommend Nimble enough.

I tried TRX while on vacation in Mexico and thought it was really great so was excited to try it in NYC at Nimble. Nimble lives up to the online reviews! Terrells class on Monday PM was awesome - there were about 8 people there so its a semi-private. This specific class would be good for any ability, although seemed best for someone with some TRX experience. In terms of the facility, Nimble has a small private feel and the staff is really nice, clean, etc. They seem to be really focusing on TRX and doing that well.

I’ve been working with Jason and the Nimble team for over 2 years. After a car accident, I tried acupuncture, massage therapy, physical therapy and personal training. Working with the staff at Nimble is the only thing that gave me lasting results. I’m in better shape now than before the accident. Thank you!
