I visited Mount Sinai Business Health in early Oct. From making an appointment to getting my results back, my entire experience was smooth. Dr. Michael Shahbaz and his medical assistant have great bedside manner, they took the time to explain each step of the way, I felt extremely comforting. I gave my highest recommendation to Dr. Michael Shahbaz and his medical assistant, outstanding job!

I was extremely impressed at this place. Yasmin T worked at the receptionist desk and had the best customer service skills ever. She took care of me very quickly and did it with a smile. I wish that they had more people like her working within the hospitals and clinics. Dr.Charles has got to be the best 🤩🤩🤩.I never liked having a male doctor but he made me feel very comfortable. He answered all of my questions and concerns . I would definitely recommend him to all of my friends and family. My visit was 30 minutes or less but it was nice to have someone quick and still get the job done.Yasmin T, and Dr.Charles is a prime example of what a perfect visit feels like after leaving. Book your appointment fast with him because he is worth it 🙌🙌. They also practice great social distance there.

Avoid at all costs, the Dr. was nice but I thought the office was pretty disorganized. Took weeks to get the doctor to talk to me about my blood work results and then they made numerous mistakes on my file, with such private information, its disheartening to see poor attention to details. Not to mention majority of the employees here just look and act miserable with patients.

Impossible to get through. You can hear them putting you on hold and then you wait. Then, they’ll hang up on you without answering the call. You call again and the same cycle repeats. My doctor referred me to a specialist here but there is no way to get an appointment. Because of this, I will be looking for a specialist elsewhere!!!!

First they need to better organize. Dont take appts at 7:30pm if you call patients the morning of to reschedule because your lab tests are picked up at 7pm. Thats just poor service. And then morning of when you call to ask patients to come in earlier, you should ask, not tell someone they HAVE TO. If Dr Palatucci lets me book at that time, why am I being told to come in earlier? But really besides the mismanagement of this particular issue, the only complaint was with one Allison the nurse who was so obviously annoyed to be working it was laughable. Stay home, no one is forcing you to come to work. And if you need to work, act like you actually appreciate your job, especially during a pandemic when people are unemployed.

This office has gone completely downhill. Everytime you come in you see a new person. The same people are never at reception and theres always a new nurse when you come. It is hard to keep up on who to touch base with and maintain a relationship. The new staff are just horrible and uncivilized. They are rude and do not know how to do their job, it seems like they are just hiring anyone. I am always left on hold for what seems like forever! I can’t get a hold of my doctor and it’s an even bigger pain to get my refills on time. It is so alarming to be treated like this from my doctors office. I dont recommend coming here it is unsafe and not a place you will find continuous comforting care

The phone representative today 5/1/21 was very nasty and rude.. The receptionist refused to give me her name when I ask but I know who it is because I have seen her at the front when you walk in. She is tan skin, young with glasses and always on her phone. Actually whenever you walk in, they are on there phone and you have to stand there until they notice you. This office is very unprofessional, medical care here at west 14th street mount sinai is like a third world country. If you want a prescription refill you may have to call two or three weeks ahead because your med will NEVER be filled when needed. They also sneak charges in and when you ask for help with the bill, apparently manager is always on lunch or on another call. This is the WORST doctor facility experience I have ever had in NYC. It should not be like this

The front office staff were rude and off putting. I did not have a good first impression. The staff a company employees is representative of the offices identity and clearly this office is not a friendly or helpful place.

This is my 3rd time coming in and the last, each time i go the staff is rude and inconsiderate say snappy things for no reason and make you wait hours and mislead you. Especially the front desk . Ive tried being patient but just cause you have a so called nursing degree doesnt make you entitled to treat people like garbage. No position ever should

I work at a provider office and I was calling to schedule an appt the lady that answer the call kept speaking with her co-worker while on the phone with me instead of putting me on hold and had told me to hold on while i was trying to give her the pt information and then hung the phone up on me.

They never answer phone calls. I called to make an appointment but I was waiting for more than 10 min. They finally answered then just hung up. I called again 3 more times but they never picked up calls again. Terrible.

Continuously getting billed for an $1,000 allergy test when I have health insurance that covers EVERYTHING and was told to disregard the bill THREE times. Now its my 4th time calling and I was told it was going to COLLECTIONS and when I call Im on hold for over ten minutes and transfered to different departments. I will never come back here AGAIN!!!. Unless your rolling in cash, STAY AWAY!

Besides the attendant at the front desk, the rest was pretty bad. Urgent care is anything but urgent as I sat waiting for almost an hour without being seen and was told that it may be 30 more minutes before even taken to the back. This urgent care is a a fully equipped hospital but only one working staff. I’ve been to urgent care many times and have never waited more than 15 min to be seen. That being said I realize things happen but this is ridiculous. Do better

This doctor did not honor the appointment I had at all that I made on line with Zocdoc. I had to make the appointment a month in advance because they were so booked up. When I got there the woman at the desk was incredibly rude and told me that the doctor doesnt accept new patients but because I was there they would see me. She then has me fill out paper work while standing at the counter while she barks questions at me and then asks for my co pay. Not until after Ive done all the paper work and paid my co pay, does someone tell me the doctor wont see me, now or ever. They blamed it on Zocdoc. But Ive had the appointment for a month and none of the 7 secretaries called me to inform me that I should not come in. So instead I waited a month, took off work, got there, filled out paper work, AND paid them. Before they turned me away. I will not have to wait months once again to get another appointment with another doctor somewhere else. In general I would avoid Mt. Sinai at all costs.

Ive had many providers of general medical care and felt most comfortable with the staff at Beth Israel. They are as LGBT friendly as it gets. My favorite provider there is Nurse Practitioner, but she does everything I typically need. There are other wonderful providers there too, but my favorite is the one I see most often. Id highly recommend it.

The doctor answering the prescription line wouldnt let me even finish my sentence before forwarding me to a voicemail line. Please take literally two seconds for me to finish my sentence before reacting.

Impossible to make an appointment at this location. I have called there so many times, and either the call ends immediately or I am endlessly put on hold. While I am on hold, the staff will pick up and start to ask me why I am calling, but then they put me hold once again. I would have to take a day off work in order to be on hold long enough to make an appointment, and I cannot afford to do so.

The staff are nice but it can take forever to get through, you get put on hold a lot with long silence, but if you get to see them in person everyone on reception etc is great.The problem is though the doctors, this seems like a training ground, they all seem so junior and inexperienced, I don;t want to go into specifics but Ive had some terrible experiences there, it seems a little bit of a money machine, asking you to come in for consultations and making you wait days for an appointment when all you need is a refill.

She is an excellent physician who is thorough and caring. She is smart, warm and tells it like it is. Shes great!

The office staff and the doctors and professional flexible and very helpful.

You hace to be a patient there in order to use the bathroom its un heard of so if you have a problem they wont help you

Had my PPD done two days ago and went in today to have it read and I was told that the whole staff was out to lunch at 12pm. I work for Mount Sinai on 14th Street and 2nd Avenue and I have never seen a whole staff including nurses and physicians all take lunch at the same time. Will not be going back, wasted my lunch period going for nothing.
