I was admitted to NYU Hospital for gastrointestinal issues. I was assigned to Dr. Chang’s care during my 3 day hospitalization. Dr. Chang is very knowledgeable, caring and by far one the the best doctors I had dealings with in years. When I visited her office I was met by such caring professionalism from all her staff. I even had an issue a few weeks after my visit with Dr. Chang and even while she was on vacation took the time to help me with my issue. If you have any gastrointestinal issues I would recommend Dr. Chang 100 times over. She is the best!

Went to NYU emergency room back in June and was told to follow up with Dr. Chang here at NYU Gastroenterology. I made the appointment almost 1 month in advance (thats the soonest there was). The office left a voicemail just a few days before the appointment saying your appointment has been canceled. Dont show up. Now I have to scramble to find another GI to treat my condition.

The worst place to work. Departmental disparities. Poor management and labor discrimination.

I took my mom to see Dr. Khanna. Unlike many other specialists who rush through everything, she took the time to listen to us and going through her medical records to pinpoint the underlining illness. Shes also very knowledgeable and friendly. The staffs were also very helpful. Overall, we had a great experience visiting for the first time.

Like the other review, the staff is slow to return message. Called in the afternoon wanting to ask the drs secretary a question. The operator said she has too much going on and told me to leave a message and that she will call back tmr. Ridiculous!!! It was something urgent. And on top of that the operator took the down/pass the wrong message. He couldnt even understand the simple medical terms. Dont understand why NYU hired such lazy incompetent people as their staff.

Booking is difficult, but persistent confusion and absence of proper communication within the facility make it worse. You may end up getting multiple calls about someone else medical situation. Any attempt on your side to rectify situation - such as giving updates on your current health insurance coverage or simply try to explain that you are not someone else - will unchain the general ignoramus arrogance of the last insicure entry level receptionist who is anxious to cover his / her obvious lack of training and experience. Welcome to Inferno

Very hard (almost impossible) to talk to the staff to book my endoscopy. I talked to someone who couldnt even say endoscopy. I was told to leave my number and someone would call me, but after numerous attempts, I had no one call me back. Finally, Dr Khannas assistant contacted me, but she said she never got any messages that I had called
