Upon arrival, I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk assistants; and the medical assistants were focused and professional. My requests were completed efficiently and my concerns were answered promptly. While in the examination room, it was encouraging listening to the communication between Dr. DeLuca and his assistant. I was pleased with the organized and stress-free environment.

The representatives are all extremely knowledgeable and kind. Exams and tests are thorough. Average appointment time takes about an hour depending on the type of tests and/or exams you are having. I took my elderly mother here and they took care of her cataract restoring her peripheral vision while a different service had said it wouldnt help. Ive been going to the Manhattan office myself for the last several years and am very pleased with their service. It is a first class practice for eye care. Dr. Deluca is the best!

Dr. Deluca is fantastic Ophlamologist. He also has sent me out to specialists if he finds conditions that require them. For example, he discovered that I have macular degeneration and then recommended whom I should see. His knowledge base regarding his areas of expertise is clear and I feel that my eyesight is in the best possible hands.

Eye Institute uses diagnostic equipment I havent seen elsewhere; they honor appointment times well, the staff and doctors are cordial and accessible. Ive had much more feedback and information than anywhere else Ive gone. No complaints or reservations.

Dr. DAversa is an excellent Optometrist--thorough, professional with a calming presence. I feel in good hands with him! Because of the pandemic, I had not had an appointment in a while, but my dry eyes have improved and my eyesight has remained the same--primarily because of Dr. DAversas previous work and diagnosis.

Dr. De Luca is very nice, but although he is happy to answer questions clearly, it bothered me that I had to pretty much address them to his back - the configuration of the room, examining chair, computers etc made it impossible to talk face to face. (And poor Dr. de Luca had to concentrate on not one but 2 computer screens...) I wonder if this Feng shui issue could be corrected? Also, clearly schedule is very very tight. But overall a good experience.
