I was seen by Dr. Borukhov as a new patient for a routine eye exam - the whole process was great! Check in was easy, and the forms were transparent. Ive been going to Cooper Eye Care for two years for my annual eye exam and glasses, the entire staff is very punctual, friendly, and kind. They are always considerate in asking about any concerns. Dr. Cooper and his staff always make really tailored recommendations that are perfect. I always leave with the right prescription and the most beautiful glasses! I highly recommend them for all of your optometry needs!

The staff was all extremely friendly, and I felt as though I was truly being cared for. Dr. Borukhov was extremely attentive and thorough, and most importantly, I could tell he actually cared about me (not just my eyesight). I will be recommending the practice and Dr. Borukhov to all my visually impaired friends and family. Not to make this a lengthy review, but I cannot over emphasize the empathy and thought that went into Dr. Borukhovs examination. I could tell he was just as happy to be helping someone, as I was with my new visual capabilities. If the world had more Dr. Borukhovs we would all be a little less sick!

The last time I was in this office was in 2010 and then back again in June 2019. I had a visit with one of the newer interns and she was very sweet and then Dr. Cooper was able to see me right after. He really takes his time to get to know his patients and answer any questions. I didnt feel rushed and I really appreciated his caring approach.

Quiet intimate practice for lens or contacts.

This is honestly the most incompetent medical office I’ve even been to. I’ve routinely waited over an hour. I’ve been incorrectly billed. I’ve requested medical records more than once that never arrived or arrived with the incorrect information.Additionally, Dr Borukhov over-corrected my vision and totally missed a mild astigmatism that a subsequent doctor identified. My vision is far superior to when I was under the care of Cooper Eye.

Ive always had a great experience with Dr. Conenna at Cooper Eye care. Everyone in the office is lovely and super professional. Vida also does a great job recommending glasses that look great. Overall, very happy with them.

This was my first time at Cooper Eye Care and must I say, I am going to recommend to all of my friends in need of an optometrist.I have never been so educated during a doctor appointment. Dr. Borukhov was thorough and even took the time to walk me through the results all of the tests! His level of care has raised my level of expectations for all doctors in NYC in all fields. I am eternally grateful to this practice. They have seen me on short notice for emergencies when I have been unable to get an appointment elsewhere. At my first meeting with Dr. Cooper, he was caring, knowledgeable and prescribed a medication that treated my condition and enabled me to depart on and enjoy my vacation. I just saw Dr. Eisenberg when I had an eye abrasion and in my eye looked bloody. She saw me immediately and gave me peace of mind. The staff is responsive and efficient. I cannot say enough good things about Cooper Eye Care.

I’ve known Dr. Jeff COOPER for decades and he is one of the most intelligent conscientious practitioners in this business. There’s much that is not known about eyes and eye disease and Dr. Cooper is always honest about what he knows and doesn’t know

Absolutely loved the care of Dr. N Eisenberg. She is detailed, respectful, caring and willing and able to educate you on the science of the health of your eyes to whatever degree of expertise your brain can compregend.Computerized test devices were state of the art and ahead of Lens Crafters.Emailed comprehensive report was made available within a half day.The only negative was accessibility.The kind patient staff and bldg guard did everything to help my nurse and I gain entry.This basement location with unbelieveably uneven flooring is N O T for a crippled person nor a larger wheelchair. My wheelchair is 20. Exterior concrete ramp is pristine but much too steep. Elevator is too small and was out of service.I so want to bring my 95 year old mom but they need to move first.

Not terrible but ALWAYS takes forever and kinda seems like they’re trying to get as much money from you as humanly possible...also pretty annoying when it comes to making appointments (they never have availability and once they called to cancel my appointment and couldn’t offer me a new one for more than two months)
