Its hard to find places these days that looks after you and cares.I first went to this shop was for a simple repair and now I get my glasses here. Every time, they go above and beyond. Its really great to get such awesome help. A great neighborhood shop

All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The eye exam was thorough and he corrected my prescription which benefited my vision. They had a variety of gorgeous frames to choose from and I am very content with my new glasses. Sheena was very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great insight. I look forward to continuing to go here.

The exam felt a bit rushed and they use very old equipment. I got an exam for contacts and ordered them through Manhattan eyeworks. The contacts shipped from Florida, according to the shipping label, and the boxes inside came very disheveled (papers crumpled, boxes ripped and crushed a bit). One box of contacts was even open. It makes me feel like not much care is put into it.

I came in for a routine eye exam and to look at some glasses/order contacts. There was barely any waiting time and the staff were super friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. The exam was quick and comprehensive. I was able to pick out a pair of glasses I loved and ordering my contacts was a smooth and quick process. Overall, I had a great experience at the store and will definitely be coming back!

My first time going to this place for my routine eye exam and the customer service was top notch. The young lady behind the counter had plenty of patience and was extremely helpful/knowledgeable in selecting frames. The eye doctor was great as well. 1-2-3 and it was all done. Would definitely recommend, especially if youre looking to go after work.

I cant rave enough about this eyeglass shop in Hells kitchen. Friendly, competent, professional yet easy going shop that has awesome frames and a really great doc who gave me a great and thorough eye exam. They took my VSP insurance and even have me a great price on a 2nd pair. Since moving to the city, I have yet to find such a great place for My eyecare needs. Highly recommend !

I had a routine eye exam done here for my drivers license a while back and then today I popped in to see if they could adjust my sunglasses 🕶! Marina and the other lovely person behind the counter were tremendous. I was smiling the whole time, even though no one could tell because 😷... thanks!

This is one of the most professional opticals I have ever been to. I had a great and through exam and Marina and her staff made sure I was fitted with not only an amazing frame but made sure that I had the right lenses. I have to say that I loved my experience here and received the best service and professionalism. I highly recommend.

This place is fantastic the staff was so sweet and helpful. They love what they do and work hard to give you excellent service. This is a good find in Manhattan. Every time (in the past) that I have gotten eyeglasses it took a LONG time and I walked away feeling like I was maneuvered into spending way more than I could afford. Eyeworks was the opposite. Staff were really friendly and helped me to stay well within my budget. Eye exam was carefully done and came with good advice. No waiting for exam or for help picking out frames--in and out very quickly. Highly recommend.

I updated my prescription recently, and treated myself to a new pair of frames. After a couple of weeks wearing them at home, I just didn’t like the way they fit... Manhattan Eyeworks worked with me until we found a solution that made everyone happy. Really appreciate the ingenuity and attention to service. Thanks!

I used a few eyeglass shops in the area for an eye exam and so far this eye shop is my favorite. I’m a bit critical with questions when it comes to eye exams and purchasing new eyeglasses. I probably asked the doctor 1001 questions and he answered every single one. He showed extreme patience with me as I do overwhelm at times with tons of questions. He was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable, I was very comfortable on how I was treated. Picking out eyeglasses can be tough at times. The selection was great, a lot of styles and brands from all over the globe, which you do not see anywhere else. I put on over 20 pairs of eyeglasses, the staff was helpful with picking out and trying on different pairs. I spent over an hour picking out the right eyeglasses. I was surprised how patient and courteous the staff was with me. Overall an awesome experience with a very professional staff!

Marina was very helpful offering nice fit style frames. Took the time to explain my plan coverage and what I would pay. Called me in the time she said lenses would be ready. Lenses were correct when I tried them. It was great. I highly recommend

I really enjoy dealing with this optometrist office. Ive been going there years! Im always greeted by name and taken very great care of. Whenever coming in for a check-up or picking-up new order of contacts, I observe how the treat there other clients/patients and I see they treat each one warmly and with undivided attention. Ive since moved out of the neighborhood, but still use this office and plan on doing so in the future. I highly recommend.

I was seen early and was out within a half hour. I wasn’t pressured into purchasing anything, which I find usually happens when I go for an eye exam. Really friendly staff, quirky cute storefront. Overall it was just a very pleasant experience, which can be refreshing in NYC.

Was scheduled for an exam on 6.14.18. I waited approximately five minutes before being taken to the back to begin the process. The entire staff was remarkable and friendly. The Doctor was thorough and great. I have found my new eye center.

They messed up my glasses , the woman works there denied it and lied to my face ,I had to take it somewhere else and spent more money to fix their damage to my glasses , take your glasses and money to somewhere professional. If I could give no Star I would to this horrible place

Had to get a pair of spectacles adjusted - they weren’t a brand that the store carried, and the lady who assisted me was really helpful and went over a few options, noting that the construction of the spectacles was rather complex.Ultimately, she said that she could make smaller adjustments to the glasses, but that if I wanted the arms moved I would be better off bringing them to a place that sold this particular brand of spectacles. She made an few adjustments to the nose pads, and they fit perfectly! She also didn’t charge me, saying that she barely did anything. Businesses like these are few and far between these days, between practices, knowledgeability, and warmth. Highly recommend!!

I went to get some glasses Id purchased online adjusted and they took care of me quickly and were super friendly. On top of that they didnt even charge me which was very nice.

Eye doctor was great but his employees at the front were terrible. Attitudes were awful. You ask questions and they answer as if they have better things to do. Customer service, yeah good luck getting either! Booths account of my displeasure were with two females, one Asian and the other Caucasian. Please hire better and more welcoming employees! Thanks

Had a really great expierience at this office and they take my insurance. They explained all my insurance benefits and copays. Marina helped me pick out a great pair of glasses, they have an awesome selection . The doctor was very patient and informative. Definitely made the right choice to come here.

Didnt feel particularly welcomed. Staff a bit stand offish. Was given uncomfortable lenses to trial when all I wanted was a renewal of a previous script.

The lady there is not friendly. She did not even called me on the day of my appointment, and don’t wanna take me when she knew i am using a fidelis care even she told me they accept it. No interest in me when i was inquiring to think that she’s not busy and it’s only me and her that time . I’m went to other eye care store and paid by cash .

I have never gotten an eye exam as thorough as I have at this vision center. Ive never seen clearer in my life! Also, I believe Ive never looked this good in my new glasses! 10/10 would recommend to everyone that I know!

This place is literally THE WORST. I got an eye test done here and the doctor messed up the prescription TWICE. One of my eyes seemed to improve by 50%. He admitted that this was his mistake and then said the place that did my glasses would have to fix them again, even though that place had said they only do it once, so if the prescription is wrong they couldnt fix it. Anyway, they refused to fix the glasses even though they had given me a wrong prescription, and said I would have to deal with it. They are rude, dont care about customers, and are literally only in it to make as much money as possible, at the expense of the customer.

Upon entering the location i was greeted by the receptionists. The doctor called me into the exam room. Throughout the consultation he barely spoke except to ask me how the lenses looked. He was not personable at all. I didnt want to have a 2 hour convo but acknowledgement would have been decent. He seemed in a bad attitude the whole time, even with his employees. I thought for annuals they dilated your eyes, nope no even that. That one star is for the front desk guy who was kind enough to explain my plan benefits.

Rude and unfriendly staff. Not telling me how long the wait may be while keeping me there standing. After I finally ask, she behaved really rude and ask me to reschedule directly. This Is already my second time here and I don’t recommend anyone coming here

Ive never had a good moment in this office. The last time I went in they actually told me that I was the most complicated patient they had ever had because I used more than one insurance. Their selection in frames is narrow. Avoid this office if you can.
