Really great customer service everytime Ive come here. The doctors are all thorough and patient and go through explaining everything about what is happening during the exam and what it means. I never feel rushed which is nice. The salespeople are also always very kind and never high pressure, which is really nice as well.

Very please with this eyewear place! Been looking for glasses for my mom for the longest and immediately Steve, our sale person, picked not only one but two.I definitely recommend this place, great customer service with no pressure added. They also give a two weeks exchange should you change your mind.

Of all the optique’s in Chinatown this one is the best. Beautiful interior design, massive collection of frames with a very efficient use of space. They are very Covid-conscientious as well. They offer cold beverages, let you use the restroom, and give you the one on one help you need in order to find your perfect frame. They can make lenses in any shape using their special machine. I highly recommend this place!

Had an eye infection, needed to see the eye doctor. Store closes at 7pm, still had 40 minutes before closing and the place tells me I should make an appointment next time. Store rep didn’t seem to care or think if I could possibly go blind and ask the doc to make an exception. Terrible.

Great place for both optometry and buying glasses. The optometrist was super helpful, and they have the up to date back-of-the-eye photo tech here. The frame selection is also not something you get everywhere, got some very cool light frames from Korea I cant find online from any English site. Unlike most eye places Ive been to, nobody is tricking you into buying overpriced BS.

I was shopping for a new pair of prescription eyeglasses and I was impressed by the COVID19 precautions that the store observes. My temperature was checked, I was asked to sanitize my hands with alcogel before I could browse their eyeglasses, and the service counter has plexiglass shields. Royce was very attentive and gave me a good rundown of my options, and was not pushy after I told him I was still going to look at other suppliers.

Steve the store manager fixed my glasses when the screw fell out. He was so kind and efficient. Highly recommend!

So so so so nice and thorough and polite and clean and lovely. Wonderful doc, wonderful staff. Saw me right away and helped fit me for contacts, which took a while (my visions terrible and I was choosing between various options), and they were ceaselessly patient and helpful. So glad I wandered into this place, and I will certainly wander in regularly for eye care from now on.

The absolute BEST selection of eyeglasses you will find in NYC. The whole staff was incredible and did everything they could to ensure I had a great experience. They never pressured me into getting anything and really took the time to understand my style. Once I decided, my order was processed so quickly. I am so grateful to have found this place! :)

I chose iLook from the long list of providers on my insurances website. Im so glad I did! Of all the many optical stores in Chinatown that Ive been to (and Ive been to many over the years), this is by far THE BEST in every way (from service, to selection, to the eye exam.) Dr. Chan is very warm and professional during the examination. He kindly answers any questions you may have and does numerous tests (some Ive never had done elsewhere) so you get the feeling that not only is he a true professional, but is very thorough as well. The very best part of my visit was the staff and service; in particular Jasmine! Not only was she willing to call my insurance and help me figure out my benefits, but she did so with such kindness and care rarely have I experienced in any NYC business...period. She was patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and never once did I feel she was trying upsell me. In fact, the only feeling I got throughout my whole visit there was...she that wanted me to walk out of there happy...which I did! Thank God there are still people like Jasmine in the world. Seriously, shes awesome! Ill definitely be going to iLook for any future eyewear or contact lenses needs. They also have free drinks and snacks for their customers...which was a nice unexpected perk!
