I am a longtime patient, for 27 years. Dr. Felig is one of the most respected endocrinologists in the world. He has also treated two of my family members. He is the most thorough and knowledgeable physician I have ever seen. If he is behind schedule some days, it is because he is simply that thorough and caring. He does not take insurance, but is worth every penny. I found him after he was named Best Endocrinologist in New York by New York Magazine, so obviously I am not alone in my opinion. Highest recommendation!

I can sum up my experience as follows:1 A doctor with a Cash Only, no credit cards, no checks policy and who keep patients waiting over an hour is obviously, not focused on the best interests of the patient. I spent $1,375 and was given a diagnosis of a condition I was already being treated for.2. The office is so cramped, three assistants are forced to sit in a hallway, with desks facing the wall literally two feet from the rest room, this doctor is obviously not concerned for the well. being of his employees either. I was sent an email messages IN ALL CAPS WITH NUMEROUS TYPOs. His assistant did not know how to email an attachment.3. .The World Health Organization has released a list of the top ten toxins of public health concern which they consider to be endocrine disrupters. This doctor (an endocronologist) told me was not aware that lead is considered to be one of the top ten toxins by the United Nations.4. I was kept waiting One hour and ten minutes on my first visit. On my second visit after waiting 45 minutes I walked out. The office is tiny, dusty, cluttered and messy. The room where your blood is drawn, there are boxes piled four high. I will never go back here.
