Ive never had a surgery before and have never really faced any major health crisis, so I was super nervous and afraid when I found out I needed a thyroid surgery. Dr. Patel has the rare gift of easing that anxiety thru calm honesty and rational empathy. Im so grateful to him and his team for their patience and mindfulness. I feel extremely lucky to have been referred to him for this procedure (especially since I only have a medicaid ins at the moment, and I was sure no good doctors like this would ever accept that) - thank you so much! Also, his office staff is pleasantly organized and responsive, and Ive never had to wait long during my appointment.

Best doctor

Dr. Patel is a delightful man and a sensitive, responsive MD. He is apparently a very good surgeon is well, since the surgery he performed on me went very well. The wait time in his office is a bit annoying, but I always have a book handy! Dr. Patels office staff is lovely and all the various social workers and practitioners at NYU Langone before, during, and after surgery were superb!

Honestly he is the greatest doctor I meet thru my health journey he and his whole staff were so professional and very kind really cared for their patient as people he did a great job with my surgery I honestly recommend him for to everyone THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything you and your whole staff did for me

In a complicated three hour surgery to remove a parotid gland tumor, dr patel was able to remove the whole mass without damaging a facial nerve. i went home the same day feeling well, and extremely grateful to him. i was so lucky to have found a brilliant surgeon.
