I went for a long standing thyroid disorder to see if there was anything further I could accomplish in maintenance of the condition. And to consolidate my overall care at one place. I was very happy with the care I received. It was thorough and thoughtful. She is the first doctor in 17 years to even show me the ultrasound and explain it. The appointment was not rushed and I felt valued as a patient in what I said and asked. Very happy.

Very difficult to effectively get directed to the correct doctor while in search of an endocrinologist.Once directed to the correct office making an appointment was quick and efficient.Having a virtual appointment created some technical difficulties that the doctor was very patient with and willing to adapt appointment to phone instead of video.Initial visit with doctor was excellent. I had a needle biopsy in my throat to determine if the nodules on my thyroid were cancer. I had this done several times with other endocrinologists before I went to Dr. Lowe. With the other doctors it was a painful and traumatic experience. With Dr. Lowe it was completely opposite of my past experiences. She made sure that it would be as painless as possible and wanted me to feel comfortable and not nervous. I like Jazz so she played Miles Davis to keep me calm. She also gave me a stress ball to clutch so I wouldnt dig my fingernails into my palms.She also sprayed a freezing solution to numb me and then gave me lidocaine to numb me. None of the other doctors did that. They just took an enormous needle stuck it in my neck and extracted the cells they needed..By the time she extracted the cells for the biopsy it was anticlimactic...It hurt a little but nothing like the other times I had it done.In conclusion this was a very positive experienceand I will always have Dr. Lowe as my doctor. I trust her completely and I am glad she was recommended to me...by the way...the nodules were benign!

I went through a few endos who were highly recommended before I met her in NJ. She was so knowledgeable and helpful and was a huge help throughout my first pregnancy. I was devastated when she wasnt in the office in NJ anymore. I soon got pregnant with my second child and saw 2 other doctors but it just wasnt the same. I found out that shes in NY now and went to go see her. I have to cross the bridge, etc, but its all so worth it. Shes very friendly, so smart and knowledgeable and caring all at the same time.
