The staff at this place is amazing. From the moment you walk the staff is calm, very professional and friendly. Very fast service considering the amount of patients they had. I am surprised reading all these negative reviews.

Miserable ER. Stuck in a 3 x 5 prison like cell.I can’t get help when I call.I’ve been here for 3.5 hours and I have seen 4 people who keep coming and asking about my problem and say another person will come to do the procedure. Procedure hasn’t even started. No visitors and nobody is even here to help in anyway. So so so frustrating!

I came in recently after waking up in the middle of the night with excruciating neck pain. I had had a terrible experience at CityMD urgent care earlier that day and the LHH ER experience could not have been more different. Every staff member I encountered was kind, patient, and communicative. The process was smooth and they were clear at each point about what they were doing and what the next step was. They made me feel calm and cared for, gave me what I needed to get some sleep, and sent me home with a referral for an orthopedist and clear recommendations/instructions on how to care for myself in the meantime. This will be my first stop in the future if I ever need an ER again!

Lenox Hill Hospitals ER was the best ER I’ve ever been in. I was there for surgery because my Inthracal Pain Pump broke. My doctor sent me there until she could get to me. 3 different doctors came and introduced themselves asking what they can do to make me more comfortable. I told them what I needed and had it within 5 minutes. When it wore off they were right there with another shot. I couldn’t eat or drink before the surgery and I was so thirsty I couldn’t take it. A nurse near by heard me, mind you she wasn’t my nurse, and she came back with a cup of ice chips. I was never this happy with the treatment I received in any hospital I have ever been in. I highly recommend Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC.

Worst emergency room, my husband was there when I got there...1, to go inside They didn’t even asked me for an I’d2, while waiting next to us the placed a patient, then they move them, nobody wiped down the chair and they placed another patient.3, never saw nobody cleaning the work station or the ekg machines or the vitals machines, literally nothing.Very dirty place. The perfect place to catch an infection or any disease.

They didn’t let me in to use the restroom even though restrooms were located right behind the security desk by the entrance on Lexington and 77th st.

We have been waiting 3 hours in “emergency room” if you could call it emergency. Room is 3’ by 5’ and plus dirty, as if we are in prison!

Absolutely wonderful! Staffs are extremely helpful. My nurse Solomon was very informative and was very sweet and I didnt feel left out or forgotten throughout this whole process by him, multiple nurses/medical assistants and the doctors at all, especially since I was there alone. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone I know and if I ever do need another ER visit, this would be the place to go from now on. Thank you everyone!

This hospital forgets about their patients easily. I came in at 2:45. It is now 7:18 and I’ve been waiting for a CTscan for 1 1/2 hours. I already drank their juice thing, which took an hour. And now I’ve been waiting in front of the CT room for an hour and a half.

This is my closest emergency room. I dont understand why they only have Physicians Assistants and no doctors. It is a good thing I wasnt having a heart attack. I had excruciatingly painful arthritis in my right knee; yet all they recommended was Advil and Motrin. Why in Gods name go to an emergency room and expect that? This is one of the worst emergency rooms in the Eastern Seaboard! Do not ever go here!

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Mannino and RN nurse on the night of 2/28/19. Im reporting all for their unprofessionalism and needle marks on my foot. Im a clinical social worker and I was applauded by what I experienced as a patient. Never again will I return to that hospital. Sad because one bad apple spoils the entire tree.

Well I had a tooth extraction on Friday. My dentist perscribed me tylenol (which didnt and I want to say doesnt work for that type of procedure.) I rushed into the emergency room that Sunday because I could no longer bare the pain from my tooth being taken. My nurse Christian was amazing she took good care of me before, during & after I seen the doctor. I walked in the emergency room in excruciating pain and left feeling loved, cared for & in better condition. P.s my wait to see the doctor wasnt long I was bought to fasttrack. The guy in the ambulance told me my tooth ache wouldnt be a priority but he was wrong I was in and out and well taken care of. Thank you lenox hill hospital (arrival time was12.pm I was back home at 1
