I turned 50 and had a routine colonoscopy done and was told by both my insurance company and New York Gastroenterology Associates that it would be completely covered because it was considered preventative care. Fast forward 2 weeks and I get a bill for over $2000 for the procedure. When I question them about the bill they say that the colonoscopy was covered but the pathology was not. A colonoscopy is completely useless without the pathology so why on earth would colonoscopy be considered preventative medicine and the pathology not. And shouldnt they have made that clear before I had the procedure? And shouldnt New York Gastroenterology Associates know that some insurance covers the procedure and others may not. I hope they will think twice before shouting out a blanket statement like it is preventative medicine, so it is covered.

Dr Tuyana was terrific. Responsive and explained well. Highly recommend her.

Dr.Bamji was the most incredible doctor for the visit. He was so kind, caring, patient and encouraging for someone who has a lot of anxiety visiting the doctors office. He made jokes to alleviate the stress and made sure my husband felt comfortable. He is a true professional but is not afraid to show immense amounts of grace to care for his patients. This was the best experience ever had in a medical appointment.

Dr. Frado is awesome!! I would highly recommend her. She doesnt keep you waiting, which is usually unheard of in a doctors office. She is very personable and takes the time to chat about any concerns or questions you may have. She is easy to talk to and explains things well. I feel very comfortable with her ability to treat my condition.

Words dont do justice to how good Dr. Frado and her staff are. Even just for preventive care, they treat you with the same thoroughness and bedside-manner that a sick patient would receive.

I like this office a lot. I feel like Dr. Frado truly is knowledgeable and helpful. She comes across very compassionate and makes me feel comfortable. The office is very nicely organized and clean and I have always gotten called on time. Overall, I have a very positive experience here.

My experience at NYGa is based in my experience with doctor Miller.Very professional and clear in his explanation. Always available to answer my questions and flexible when you need a last minute appointment taking you very early to make sure you won’t wait too long to see him.The process for the endoscopy is very smooth and the staff makes you feel very safe.

When you have issues with your body, it is sometimes hard to find a perfect fit with a speciality Doctor.Dr Miller is a Doctor who is thoughtful, empathic and knowledgeable.He makes you feel better even before you start on medication. I highly recommend.

I have been to the clinic and saw Dr. Kenneth, He was very professional and sympathetic with my situation. I saw many Doctors before seeing him and there weren’t able to really pinpoint at the source of pain. I would highly recommend him for IBS and other related diseases.

Results are better after consulting Dr. Bamji . He explained the medical condition and prescribed pills based on it.

They have a terrible appointment system. Made online appointment, just before the appointment time when I was headed to their location I received a call that the doctor is not available.I rescheduled to next week on the phone. Now I am in their practice, where they say they dont see my appointment but they will accomodate. I have been here for an hour already!

This was my first visit to Dr. Miller. He was both personable and professional, made important recommendations and I feel very comfortable with him.

This place is a fukn SCAM!!!- they treat patients based on income and race.- they have very little regards for the actual patients well being.- they are ok with not treating symptoms and letting patients go on living in pain.- they refuse to allow you to transfer your medical records to any other doctors for second opinion.Stay home and take some prilosec if ur stomach hurts.

I suggest they include their temporary office’s address in appointment reminder texts.

Worst doctor ever. Had to wait for almost 2 hours. Doesnt give clear explanation. Only prescribes antibiotics for everything.
