Dr. Nicholas is so kind and caring. His energy is unmatched! His demeanor just has a way of making you feel comfortable and safe. He’s knowledgeable and direct. You can’t ask for much more in a surgeon. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to operate on me. Doctor Nicholas Ive seen him before for my knee. He had amazing bedside manor, never felt rushed and made me feel that I was most important patient while he was with me The same is said for his team of residents,PA, and office support. I can proudly say 15 years later his practice has not changed. I needed a second surgery on my shoulder. My husband told me I need to go back to Dr Nickolas since was not getting better. I choose distance the first time and I should have gone to Dr. Nicholas instead. Just one day out of surgery and already feeling better and can move my head without feeling a sharp muscle pull from my sholder to base of my head. Dr. Nickolas and his team proved to be the best in the field was even surprised that as many patients he see, they remembered me. You can not go wrong going to Dr. Nicholas, I wont pick distance over Dr. Nicholas again.

NY Orthopedics is a great group, and Dr Bedford is exceptional.Check-in process was smooth, front desk very friendly, and I was brought in right after finishing paperwork.Dr. Bedford spent at least a half hour with me going through my imaging results, explaining the implications of the imaging and what the next steps in treatment are. He answered all of my questions, was extremely patient and thorough. Could not have had a better experience with NY Orthopedics and I’m particular with Dr Bedford, will recommend him highly to anyone in need.

Dr. Nicholas and the team deliver the best care with exceptional results. First, his surgery skills and knowledge are world-class, and he listens to patient concerns and advises patients with the best course of action. He makes sure that surgery patients heal well and that they follow the best recovery protocols. His assistants are so caring and knowledgeable, and the office staff is friendly and accommodating. It stinks to be injured, but you can get back out there with Dr. Nicholas.

First of all I have a doctors office that has hours starting at 7 AM is fantastic. Everyone is extremely helpful and informative from the front desk personnel to the x-ray technician. Most of all working with Dr. Stephen Nicholas is a real pleasure. Takes the time to discuss and understand all your symptoms and he is never in a rush.

Dr Bedford you is great. I had miniscus root tear repair (I’m probably confusing some of that language) and it was a great surgery. I’m a runner so I’m still dealing with some struggles upping my miles on longer runs and he took another look today. He always listens well, fully answers questions about limitations and treatment plans and takes good care of me.

I am a long time patient of Dr. DeLaMoras. He has treated me for a variety of different issues, including spine, ankle and elbow. Dr. DeLaMora is always focused and clear in his exam and explanation of whatever is happening. He is an excellent diagnostician, who cares for and treats his patients with kindness and compassion.

Dr. Wessling is a fantastic doctor. Super low key but very knowledgeable, he performed a complicated surgery for me to perfection. Dr Wessling is a very caring doctor. He is a skillful surgeon who understands the needs. I am still going through painful recovery of flat foot reconstruction surgery. I encounter unexpected issues and challenges. That’s the nature of operation, isn’t it? You don’t know how things will turn out or how painful recovery is until you do it. Classic NY Doctors office. Everything is nice and shiny inside, yet the staff they hire are subpar. Everyone was more worried about goofing off and chopping it up with their co-workers vs. doing their jobs. After nearly 2 hours of waiting around, I finally see the doctor who literally walks in and says ok, so whats your problem - made me feel like I was taxing him just by being there. Im sure theyll file the insurance claims no problem though! Very bad experience.

They over booked appointments. 3 other people came in with the same time and Dr. as me. It took over an hour to see him, just for him to spend 2 minutes with me. He could of at least discussed some exercises or some therapy to help relieve the pain. It was a waist of my co pay money.

I had a double laminectomy performed by Dr. Matusz, his staff is exceptional and he is a terrific Dr. as proven by my outcome. Great bedside manner and explains everything clearly. Highly recommend Dr Matusz as an orthopedic surgeon!

Best surgeon I’ve ever worked with.

Through my insurance company I found this office. The front desk staff at NY Orthopedics helped me find a doctor who took my insurance and serviced the spine. That same morning I slipped a disc in my lower lumbar. There was an appointment available that afternoon and I only hoped that the doctor would have good bedside manners and get to the source of my pain. As soon as I walked into the office I was greeted with a warm hello, the paperwork was simple and easy to complete and the wait time was less than 7 minutes. What I also appreciated are the chairs in the waiting area. For people with back pain, the option to sit in a chair that is higher up, is so helpful! All the staff who I encountered are great. Doctor Stephen Nicholas is the one who examined me and told me in regular language what my issue was. He told me what to do and I followed his orders. He called me himself to provide the MRI results. And his team even called me a couple of days after to see if I had any questions about anything. Wow! Talk about good bedside manners. I am grateful to have had such a positive experience with this office. I highly recommend.

Beyond incompetence - They will not return phone calls, emails, or requests despite dozens of tries. Originally, I was able to get an appointment and they promptly gave x-ray - I did receive a bill two months later.After many attempts to obtain my charts to change doctors, I finally received a Certification of No Records. What a joke.

I went to the location in the former St. Vincent’s Hospital location in Greenwich Village. Dr. Mendez was knowledgeable and thoughtful in explaining my diagnosis and treatment plan. The staff was friendly, facility was immaculate and comfortable.

Dr. Lee performed extensive TFCC repair on my dominant wrist, and I was able to maintain full function and full recovery. Outstanding professional manner! He treated my talented artist daughters tenosynovitis, and gave her full options on how to proceed. Office staff were all highly professional, and attentive. Able to schedule us at very short notice! Highly recommended!
