Review №1

I have seen Dr. Kim for a yearly physical twice in the last 3 years. He was straight forward and easy to interact with. He gave me a copy that I needed for work without issue. Most recently he was working hard on a Saturday which was very convenient for me. Had a good experience overall and would recommend him to others.

5 star visit followed by 1 star follow up.I recently saw doctor Kim because of a persistent weakness / numbness I was experiencing in a leg. I was very pleased with the visit. I felt Dr. Kim was personable, patient, explained possible causes and asked many questions. He performed some tests, sent me for blood work and said he would be calling me to follow up. I was very satisfied with the visit. A few days later I got an e-mail with the blood results and a quick note from Dr. Kim saying that everything looked fine except that vitamin D was a little low and that I could take supplements. No mention of any next steps and I never received the promised call.During the visit I thought I had remembered Dr. Kim mentioning that if the blood work comes back fine, he would refer me to a neurologist for further examination, so I called the office and left a message to inquire about this. Shortly later I received a referral be e-mail. If I hadn’t remembered Dr. Kim mentioning the neurologist, I would have just read the positive news of him message and chalked it up to another unsolved mystery. As it turns out, follow up with a neurologist, led to an MRI which led to a diagnosis of significant lumbar spine damage which will have some life changing implications for me. I should also note that I brought my blood results with me to the neurologist during my first visit who told me I was very low in vitamin B12 and needed to start taking supplements immediately. This was not mentioned in Dr. Kim’s follow up. So in sum, I credit Dr. Kim with getting me on the right path to a diagnosis, but his poor follow up with no plan for continuation could have been very problematic had I not taken the initiative to follow up.
