After filling out the information required I saw Dr Jaffin who as usual combined his kindness, competence and directness.

Although I was dismayed by the process in the waiting room with what I felt was irrelevant and duplicative processes, I was very pleased from the time his assistant came to bring me to the physician. She was very professional, informative and professional. I was also pleased with my interaction with the physician who was informative and appeared genuinely interested in making sure I understood my disease process and strategies to cope with it.

Dr Jaffin sat with me and explained the procedure he will be performing Very comforting.

Great experience, I was surprised by how smooth everything went and how accommodating all the nurses and anesthesiologists were. I would highly recommend going here.

The front desk person was very helpful with the forms. The wait wasnt long before being escorted in to consult with Dr. Jaffin. He is never rushed and he takes an interest in what I say and asks good questions. I have had colonoscopies and will have an endoscopy soon with him. My experience at the Carnegie Hill was a marvel of expertise, kindness, state of the art technologies to insure the safety and comfort of patients. Staff was friendly, professional and efficient. Handled all questions well. Dr. Weiss clearly explained everything and answered my question. I was impressed that he actually read the information Id written on the forms concerning medications, past history, etc. Ive never seen a a doctor read the patient information with the patient present, and bring up specific points/questions with the patient. Usually, theres a quick skim, rapid turning of pages, no comments. One has to assume the doctor read the important information. Not so with Dr. Weiss. He took his time, and was very clear on both the information he received from me, and the information he needed to give to me.

Everyone from the staff to Dr. Weiss was very helpful, informative and radiated a sense of being there to serve the patient. I only need this procedure once every five years, but would not hesitate to recommend this office and doctor to people I know.

Excellent, near-perfect experience. Entry smooth, taken quickly, pleasant staff and pleasant facilities. Most important, Dr. Weiss HIGHLY professional, respectful, listened to all my questions and comments, explained everything clearly, and prepared me for upcoming procedures.Only drawback was that I was supposed to have TWO procedures at clinical appointment -- colonoscopy and endoscopy -- and only the latter was communicated to the clinical office where the procedures were to take place. When I called B4 the appointment to confirm it, the clinical office had no record of the colonoscopy. By the time I had the procedures, Dr. Weiss had informed the staff that theyd be doing both, and everything went fine; but Id have been happier if the consulting office had prepared the clinical office properly for the second procedure when the appointment was made.

Dr. Jaffin was personable. He explained things clearly and patiently, with a little bit of humor and without condescension. From the first time I called to the day of my visit, the front desk was helpful and friendly, especially Tatiana. Genesis was great at making sure everything was in order before I got there. Wait time wasnt bad, especially considering that there was rather a lot of paperwork to fill out for my first visit.

The worst medical office experience, scheduling the appointment, billing and customer service. Inexperienced stuff, that can’t even find/open received emails. Unable to handle payments- sent same statement again after 7 months the full amount was paid( even for additional uninformed procedures charged), threatening to send to collection. Had to come to the office, jeopardize my job, to hand hold and help them connect the dots.My advise is, if u have trouble scheduling appointments with an office, most likely the rest will be the same, do urself a favor and find another reliable place.

I have known and have been going to Dr Jaffin for 36 years. What more can you say. Fran (office manager in the old days RIP) was the best, she stored everything to memory, no software to be a slave to. Today, the office has adapted Boeing’s Max 737 software and they do not know how to turn off auto pilot. Human connection missing.

Dr. Jaffin, the nurses and staff were highly professional and a pleasure to deal with. The location and condition of the office is fine with the exception that the elevator has been out of order for a long time. However, that is not the fault of Dr. Weiss or his practice. Dr. Weiss is a highly competent and sensitive doctor and person. I would recommend him and his practice highly.

The doctor is kind, soft spoken and very caring. However the office operations and weekend overnight emergency call center does not coordinate well with the office. Even the on call doctor did not relay my medical situation to my primary doctor. Thats really unacceptable.

Wonderful, attentive care. Only minor glitch was mandatory car service home. First car arrived before I was ready to be released and had to leave. Second car took a while to arrive and driver expected cash payment when I had specified credit card in advance. It all worked out, but took a while.
