Either highly understaffed or inefficient staff. You will get at least a 1 hour wait time. Half of the time the reception is empty. Only giving 2 stars because it is a clean facility with a comfortable, socially distant waiting area. Would not recommend.

I have been here twice and the first time had to wait a long time, this time was much faster. I found the staff to be very friendly and competent. I just called and talked to the receptionist and again was met with a kind, warm and caring individual who showed me compassion. I would recommend the place.

I keep coming here because its conveniently located but the office is so poorly managed it’s infuriating, and makes sense to travel, the front desk is always behind they never know what they are doing, you’re always waiting even if you’re early and the only one there and when you actually get to the technologist it never fails that they were sitting and waiting for some sort of communication to let them know you were there and ready. I don’t understand why they can’t get it together in 2021. I’ve actually never experienced being called back on time which is messed up especially when told not to eat or drink for hours.

I have been here twice. Each time upon check in, the female receptionist on the 3rd floor ignores that she has people standing and waiting to be checked in. She doesnt even acknowledge the patient with a good morning or please give me a few minutes. No customer service skills at all.. I asked the gentlemen receptionist if he could help me after just standing for 10 minutes. He said yes. But why do I have to ask? The purpose of reception is to greet people. Acknowledge your patients and say something.There are no signs guiding patients on the 3rd floor where to stand to wait to be called. There is no sign in sheet either so you can be called. After reading the reviews I see why this facility has the rating it does 2.2*. However, the management needs to do better to acknowledge there is a serious problem and send your employees for some training.My 1* goes to the technician. She is great. Very nice and friendly. Explains everything.

Dont tell me its because of covid. Have been coming here over 5 to 6 years. Every single time every single person except for the technician is extremely nasty and rude especially the reception person at the front desk. Forget about the phones they never answer them no matter what. I would even go as far as to say the Department of Motor Vehicles answers the phone faster. I dont know who owns this place but it is a utmost disgusting disgrace.

Upon arriving there was nobody behind the reception desk after waiting approximately five minutes a woman appeared and stated she had been to the bathroom. I was then sent up to the second floor to fill out a paper and was then told to return it back to the first floor. Then I was told my ultrasound would occur on the third floor. The ultrasound occurred in a maze of rooms and the technician was unconcerned about my inability to move from one side to another. Additionally she told me to hold my breath and never stated to let it outA week later I returned to my physicians office having assumed that the ultrasound results would have been forwarded to my physician. This was never done. I don’t know when they will forward the results to my physician but I have rarely been at a medical facility which is as poorly organized as this.

Sent by W 13th Street Urgent Care for an xray. Was told there was a 10-20 minute wait time. After 45 minutes I was given paperwork to fill out. Then was sent upstairs to wait, not a single other person in the waiting room.The 1 minute xray took 2 hours to complete. 26 hours later still waiting an expedited report. Very disorganized.

I had an appointment at 8:15 A.M. which I was on time for. I waited 2 HOURS until I finally said something to the very rude, very bored receptionist. Finally they see me for a mammogram but then leave me waiting for my ultrasound.I finally got up and left. Also, the waiting room was so crowded that there is no way there was six feet that is required for social distancing to follow proper COVID-19 safety practices. I have been coming here for 10 years and will never return.Its friendlier and faster waiting at the DMV!

Efficient radiology technician but with incompetent receptionist who cannot spell or type professionally. The receptionist I encountered on the second floor cannot spell the word WEST in my address and did not double-check her typing with what I wrote down before asking me to proofread and sign off. It took me THREE times to point out various typos before everything is correct for my address. This is not what I expected from a professional medical service provider.

I am still waiting for my appointment (currently in the waiting room) now going on 2 hours. It’s extremely rude and disrespectful to have an appointment time and then no regard or attempt to stick to that especially when you’re fitting it into your work day. For reference it’s Monday morning so I’m failing to see how they’ve fallen this far behind already. So far also staff have been rude and it’s incredibly run down and shabby (TV just playing static), minimal seats, no music or anything to read. Will never return.

I should’ve read the earlier reviews! I had a referral to this location for an x-ray and called to confirm if I would need an appointment. They said I could come whenever, so I left and arrived within 10 minutes. On arrival at around 1 ish, I was told it would be over an hour wait. The practice seemed disorganized and the process wasn’t clear. Other patients left because they were frustrated with the wait. There were plenty of food deliveries, so it could’ve been made clear that everyone was just taking a break. The receptionist was also struggling to print X-rays to CDs, which was creating a backlog.

Just confirming everyone elses comment about the horrible wait time: 1hr if youre lucky, more often closer to two hrs. The technicians themselves are good and friendly, but the place is run absolutely terrible and I moved on to somewhere else.

I was a walk in and was told it will be a 20 min wait. I noticed all patients after me were being told this same time. I began to realize this wait time was not realistic. Even people who were picking up discs were told 20 mins. When 50 mins passed, I walked up to the receptionist and she said it’ll be about 5-10 mins more. After 65 mins, I was told to go upstairs with my paper work to wait to be called...again. I waited an additional 20 mins. At first, I was the only patient in this waiting room then 3 other people came. This gentleman spoke to a woman at the desk and she referred to him as doctor (he was being seen as a patient). They took him first, even though I was waiting there for 20 mins. I’m not sure if it was because he was a doctor, or what but after waiting for 1 hr and 25 mins, I was over this wait time. In the end, from beginning to end, it took 1 hr and 40 mins. I’m understanding if there might be a longer than usual wait time, but you have to be realistic with the patient. There has to be multiple overbooking happening because the actual test was very quick. I will never be coming back here again.

My wait time wasnt too bad at 45 min ( appointment was 2 I was seen at 2 45). Not terribly friendly or welcoming reception staff but my radiographers/ technicians for my ultrasound were really thorough and very nice.

Do NOT ever go there. I booked an appointment for a sonogram one month in advance of my scheduled date. After I arrived, on time, I was made to wait in a gown in the waiting area for 2 hours and still was not seen. I had to leave for another appointment. I went to the front desk to inquire why I was still waiting so long. Her reply was that there was only one tech in today for sonograms. I told the person at the desk that I was leaving and why didnt anyone come and let me know what was going on and why I was made to sit so long in a gown in the waiting area? There was no apology. There was no offer to reschedule. I asked if I could reschedule before I left the office and was told I needed to call to make another appointment. This was less than professional, very uncaring treatment. A patient should be treated with respect and their time should be treated as valuable and should not be taken for granted...WORST office EVER...

Feels a bit run down, but effective and efficient. Takes walk-ins without appointment (assuming your doctor gave you orders). Friday at 4p, it only took 35 minutes to walk in, get an x-ray, and walk out.

I arrived today Oct 14 at 1:15 PM for a 1:30 PM appointment.I filled out the required paperwork in lobby, went upstairs to put on an exam gown, technician François did the x-rays. Francois explained all details and answered all my questions. Kudos to Francois. I was out the door 2:05 PM.The place was busy and all Covid-19 safety procedures followed. I recently accompanied my aunt to an appointment for a mammogram and had the most amazing experience. The young lady who registered us was so helpful. My aunt forgot her prescription and she went above and beyond to help us get a new one from her primary doctors office. She made the process so smooth and seamless. I had an appointment this morning for an MRI which I arrived about 20mins late and was able to be seen with out a wait. The tech was performed the MRI was professional and courtesy. She was able to answer all my questions. When leaving the front desk staff Claudia was so kind and sweet and so helpful. I appreciate all the staff members at Chelsea. Hello People,Wanted to share my experience with a follow-up mammogram I had this pass week. Went into the office with a lot anxiety seeing that I was found with a lump in my breast, but I must say what an awesome place. I was treated with a great front desk staff, the technician was very kind and explained everything I would be going through.and the Radiologist even came in to discuss my finding and her recommendations. ( she helped ease all anxiety) As I need to go back for continued care I would definitely recommend this practice to any one that needs a kind and caring atmosphere filled with professional people.

I have been going to this center for years. Every medical facility has a wait time. Being mindful of that I dont chose hours that are the busiest. I have never had a problem at this location. I have always had great experiences and very comforting staff. Its the only place for me to go.

I had gone in for an ultra sound today. My wait was not so bad, I was told the appointment would be about an hour. I arrived at 7:50 and was out by 8:30. Jerica helped me and was so amazing and sweet. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I appreciated her help!

Seriously the worst experience ever!!!!! My appointment was made for over a week. Before completing the paperwork upon arriving, I asked the woman at the desk if there was a lot of paperwork to complete to which the women replied with a hearty laugh. at That’s not an answer. It was a serious question. I then head back only to find out the MRI can’t be performed because of an implant. This is told to me after I sat there for almost 2 hours. The woman at the desk upon checking out was less than helpful and made ludicrous suggestions on how I should be more prepared next time. THIS IS YOUR BUSINESS!!!! Also not great to see people eating and food laying out in an MRI facility or at the front desk when you walk in. Disgusting. I DO NO RECOMMEND!!! UNPROFESSIONAL ON ANOTHER LEVEL!!!

This place is really difficult. I didn’t want to change to another facility since I didn’t want to transfer my medical records, and the convenience of this location is nice. I’ve been coming here every 6 months for a few years now. Each time it’s a very poor experience. I am going to finally transfer my medical records to a new facility. The front desk is not very kind. The technicians are typically fine. No one has time to set aside 2.5+ hours for 1 appt. Of course this does not include commute times. I’m always surrounded by angry patients in the waiting room due to the conditions here, and it’s just such a negative experience all around. I really suggest you learn how to book patients appropriately so you can attend to patients within an acceptable time frame. It’s inexcusable to take a half a day off of work for an , and it’s very disrespectful of your patient’s time. It’s clear they don’t care about this. I’ve waited for over 2 hours now between the time I checked in. I went to a new waiting room (like they always do), they finally did the ultrasound and now I’ve been waiting for the dr to review the results, even though they said it would only take a few minutes (I’ve been waiting for over 30 minutes for someone to return). This is very poor care.

I have been going to Chelsea DR for many years, and I feel I need to share my opinion. Im pretty surprised by all the 1 scores. Yes, Ive had to wait a long time occasionally, but a long wait is not the norm. (Wait times were longer before they changed a policy regarding follow-up procedures, I think. They used to perform them same day but now patients return another day.) I have always thought the staff-- from the front desk to those doing the mammograms and sonograms--are professional and courteous. Some are warmer than others, but thats life. I wish there were more intersting, current magazines and newspapers available, and I dont love the gowns, but these are small criticisms.

They are too slow and walk around like they are on vacation. I’ve been waiting for a sonogram for 30 minutes and saw a patient, who was here after me be seen before me. I think the facility needs a better manager who Is patient focused not staff focused who can manage time. It’s not right to treat patients like cattle and keep them waiting needlessly.

Received a script from my knee doctor and since this place was convenient I went and got the x-ray. I was assuming that they would send the x-ray directly to the doctor. After waiting for about 3 weeks, I called my doctor and he said he had not received the X-rays.I called them and found out that its MY responsibility to get them to my Doctor. Furthermore I had to go in physically to the clinic to pay for the CD which I had to send to my Doctor on my own.After finally getting the CD and sending it to my Doctor it turns out that he couldnt read it. I ended up going somewhere else.

The technicians are very good but the management / scheduling in this place is the worst! I have been going here for many years and have watched it steady decline. Last year, I waited over 2 hours for a standard annual mamogram. When I complained, I was told that they had several technicians call in sick. This year, I complained after 90 minutes of waiting and was told the same thing - people called in sick. Really? You need to either hire more technicians or only schedule appointments to match your employee staffing levels. Dont schedule appointments during lunch when you have a single technician on duty who needs to eat too. Finally, if you really are short staffed on a particular day, why dont you contact patients and offer them an option to reschedule or at least tell them when they come in?? I asked to speak to the person who runs this place. They said she would call me - but never has! Clearly, they dont care about customer service.

I have always had excellent experiences at Chelsea Diagnostics. The desk staff are very courteous and friendly. Francois, the main X-Ray technician, is courteous, welcoming, and professional. The X-rays are done instantly. Wait times for me have always been short. In sum, I recommend Chelsea Diagnostics unconditionally and do not understand the occasional bad reviews. But trying to phone them and get them to answer you is like pulling teeth.

I’ve been here three hours and there’s no sign that I’ll be seen anytime soon. I understand delays due to technical problems or over-booking. I just wish the staff were nice. They work in a place where patients are terrified. We’ve had bad mammograms, we’ve been told to come back because there is something concerning. And, yet, not one of them has been friendly or tried to pretend that they care about me. At least fake a smile and tell me you feel bad that I’ve been waiting, half naked, for almost three hours. Be a human being.

Patient health/medical/physical details should be noted in every patients medical file so technicians can be aware in order to better prepare patients for mammograms from year to year. -Also for my last two mammograms, over the past year or more, I did not receive a reminder and instruction phone call or email prior to my scheduled mammogram, as was done in the past. Ive been going to CDR for several years. The wait time has always been excruciating, but my encounter this morning was the final straw. First, after an hour of waiting in the hospital gown, I was informed that they didnt have my referral (something that could have been checked before I got changed, no?) After my doctor sent it over again, I was brought into the ultrasound room, where I was then told that their computer system was down, and because they could not access my prior images I would need to wait for IT to fix it. Add on another 30 minutes of waiting to then be told Id need to reschedule. So I spent over 2 hours in a hospital gown, took a half day off work, for absolutely nothing. Ill never set foot here again--the administrative staff is sloppy, doesnt do their work, and the medical staff have no concern for your time or your health. Id give zero stars if I could.

Horrifying billing experience! They are fraudsters!!! To start with they assured me that the X-ray suggested by my chiropractor is a standard procedure and will be covered by my insurance. Well, guess what? In a month I get a bill where only 20% was deducted and the rest assigned to me. If I was told at the very beginning about this cost I would never have done this. Secondly, I sent them a check to cover half of the invoice and a request to discount the rest taking into account the situation. The check was cashed immediately which I can see on my bank account and can easily proove. Today, 2 or 3 months after I paid half, I get a bill from the collection agency for THE FULL PRICE. I have never get any communication in between that they are going to move it to the collection agency plus they obviously sent them wrong debt number. They not only ignored the request to discount the rest of the bill, they try to get me pay twice! This is a total fraud and I will not leave it like that!!!!

Arrived on time for appt. The check-in was a mess of no signage or informed communication by staff. Was sent to every floor. The staff shifted my tests. So when I arrived for my initial sched test at last, I was left to wait again for over 45 minutes. The male technician, was rude and unwilling to acknowledge that his peers moved my tests around and instead insisted that I then wait until all subsequently scheduled patients would be seen before me. The offices, wait room, and elevators are run-down. The heat was not working on the entire east side of the building. Wait time between each test was 1 hour. You literally could not find a worst facility.

After being a patient or the better part of 10 years, Ive finally lost my complacency and am writing a negative review. Waiting time is never less than one hour. Desk staff is surly. Technicians have that I hate my job grumpy attitude, and have zero regards to the fact that theres a human seeking medical care in the room with them. But to top it off... I was billed a small fortune for services, and called in immediately to request a payment plan. Was granted the plan and told Id receive statements with balance due. Never received any correspondence until months later received notice that my account went to collection. Immediately called to rectify and was - of course - again greeted by the I hate my job and dont care about you attitude. Will never return to this place. Horrible greedy pigs. Im actually happy the collection company will receive a large percentage of my funds.NB: only giving one star because zero stars is not an option.

Waited an hour past my appointment time for my ultrasound, but my tech (Jerica - I hope I have her name right) was great; very knowledgeable and good at her job as well as being very personable. Id rather wait longer for a technician who knows what theyre doing than be seen quickly and get a less thorough scan. I had no negative interactions with reception; however I only spoke to the people on the third floor, who were attentive and helpful.

I have had mammograms and ultrasound twice @ Chelsea Diagnostic and both were as fantastic as they can be.The technicians are extremely friendly and thorough, they take the extra step of trying their best to make their patients feel as comfortable as possible.I really dont understand the bad reviews, sometimes you will have to wait!

Set aside 3 hours for dual procedures. They are very nice, but there is no communication or updates explaining the long wait.I had a mammogram and ultrasound performed. It would have been 4 hours if the woman before me had not walked out in anger when her wait got to 3 hours.This place needs a dedicated coordinator who interfaces with patients. They are so busy despite their disappointing reviews so things probably won’t change.

Today was my second time there, and the experience was as wonderful as the first! When you first walk in there is someone who lets you know which floor you need. Both times I was on the third floor. Once was for a mammogram and the other was a different scan.A lovely lady behind the desk, who I recognized from my first visit was there. I was already in the system from a few weeks ago, so there was just a quick signature, and I was called in right away. Then I was directed to a clean changing room and provided with an appropriate sized gown, which was sealed in plastic. The lockers are maybe five feet away, modern-looking and very clean. I locked my stuff, took my key on a chain and waited in a room with a working modern tv and ample reading to be called. 15 minutes later, I was directed to the person who did my screening and she introduced herself, and described exactly what she was going to do BEFORE she did it, to put me at ease. As this can be unnerving it is essential to have someone professional and warm. Once all was done, I got dressed and asked for the restroom. It was IMMACULATE! Even my moms bathroom isnt as clean as that was!Had I seen the prior reviews before going, I would have been scared, which is why I just took the time to post. Two great experiences, with great professionalism and cleanliness says a lot to me!

Been going here for three years. Had a mammo this week. My appointment was for 4:45; I was done by 5:00. The tech who was very professional apologized for my wait, as if!I’ve never had a bad experience here, the receptionists are always wonderful, check in is a breeze and I love the giant vases of fresh flowers. The lockers work, there is coffee and water. I really don’t get the bad reviews.Okay, the elevator is super slow. How awful.

I find that the staff here is highly unprofessional and unpleasant. I was told that their policy requires you to have doctors referral even though my insurance said otherwise. However, after I was given their fax number to have the referral faxed over to them it was unsuccessful after multiple attempts. I called back to inquire about an alternative fax number in which I found the young ladys attitude to be negative. Once I got there, after I receiving confirmation from my doctors office the referral was received she informs me she doesnt have it. Luckily I was able to email the referral to them. Overall I think they need to invest in improving customer service skills for their employees especially those that are constantly interacting with people. Besides the fact that the receptionist had an unpleasant demeanor the technician however, was very pleasant and professional.

I would like to say that i had the most wonderful experience at C.D.R this past Saturday. I went in for a Ultrasound and was over whelmed by how nice and cheerful the staff was. It gets one star for a reason. Im assuming the practice doesnt actually read their reviews otherwise theyd do something to improve their quality of care. Theres no reason to have patients waiting for over an hour and a surly desk staff to boot. Judy was an absolute nightmare to deal with. Since theres radiology practices on every other corner here, Id recommend you try any of them before coming here. And since my referring physician is obsessed about providing an excellent quality of care for her patients, Ill definitely warn her to refer her patients elsewhere.

This place is a complete shame. I arrived one hour and 15 minutes in advance and it was not even called at my appointment scheduled time. Lots of people arriving late for their appointment and still having the privilege to be attended in the order of the appointment and not arrival time. After complain several time, they call me and even I was not requested to change my clothes, I went direct to the exam room without receive the vest for the exam. I should have known that when the nurse started yelling at me on my first visit, I was in trouble. Just a horrible experience. I have a lifelong needle phobia and when I tried to describe how I best can take a needle being inserted in me without freaking out, he started yelling and telling me not to tell him how to do his job. He brought me to the point of hysteria and then told me to get it together or leave.Now a year later I get a bill. I had met my annual deduction for the year at the time services were rendered and was told by my insurance company not to pay it. I explained this to Chelsea Diagnostic and they proceeded with a bunch of bologna that my insurance company didnt do something so they dont have to honor the terms of the agreement and they can make me pay this. I could not believe it. I told them when I arrived for service I was told I was fully covered, there were no conditions or no maybes about it and now a year later they are demanding payment from me. After several months now of trying to reason with them and explain that because they have an issue with Aetna, they cant make me solve it. When I call they are nasty and start yelling at me; when my insurance liaison calls, they yell at her. Elinor in billing has the customer service skills of a gnat. She is rude and cuts you off. They have unilaterally decided that Aetna did not pay enough so I must make up the difference. Ive never heard of such a thing.Never again will I go here.

Very disappointed with the ethic of this group. They schedule their test but when you walk in the tell you your appointment is a half an hour later and they are running an hour late!!!!!! Really....I work for a company that referred many, many members to them if it was up to me I will pull my business out of here. The staff is very nice but nice does not run a business efficiently. A shame. I know I won’t be coming back here ever if I can help it. Now sit and wait for an 1:30 till I can get seen.... smh

Nobody bothered to call me to let me know, I would have easily switched things around and come in an hour late. This place is horrible! I arrived on time for my MRI and had to wait about 45 min to an hour to be seen... meanwhile, the whole facility seemed eerily empty! not sure why I was waiting so long. Didnt see another patient the entire time I was waiting. I just called back to redirect my results to a new doctor and the receptionist was rude, cut me off and redirected my call to a non-working number. Wish i could give this place zero stars - horrible service.

I have been here 3 times and have had generally fine experiences, except the wait times (usually an hour or so after my appointment time). So, go here if that is still the most convenient, but I would factor in about an hour of just waiting before being seen.

Ive had a number of mammo screenings done here, always on the third floor. While the wait time has been a bit excessive sometimes, I feel the quality of the care Ive received has been excellent: kind, courteous staff - especially one particular radiologist, whom Ive seen several times. Maybe Im just used to longer waits at medical offices, but I havent had any experience here that supports the extremely negative reviews Im seeing from others. I have no experience with staff on other floors/in other departments.

This is not the first time I have used Chelsea Diagnostics. I have usually found the staff friendly and helpful. The consistent problem with the facility is schedeling. You get a firm appointment and you still wait hours. People walk in and seem to be taken before those of who have appointments. I just finished, the technician was great, but I waited an hour and a half to see her. They need to fix this issue!

I arrived 30 mins before my appointment as they requested. I then waited over 90 mins to have my MRI done. I was supposed to wait for the report as they told me I would be able to do so. Since it ran so late, the doctor had already left, but the front desk assured me it would be read in the morning and sent to my doctor. I called them late morning to follow up since my doctor had not heard from them. I was told it takes 2 - 3 business days to get the report. Needless to say I went balistic on them. Still waiting to hear back. Do not go there if you need immediate results.

Worse experience ever and I havent even gotten there yet! They call me less than 24 hours before my appointment to tell me that I need a medication from my doctor before my procedure. They couldnt tell me that when I made the appointment or when they confirmed the appointment two days ago?! Ridiculous! Now, I cant even reschedule my appointment. Wow, no apologies here. I changed my appointment early this morning to an earlier time when I arrived at that time and checked no one said a word. I waited 50 minutes and asked what was going on. The receptionist said she would see 15 minutes later she told me that my appointment was never changed and in an accusatory voice asked me who told me it was earlier? I told her the name and then she vanished again. 10 minutes later she came back to say I would be seen soon. (It was now my original appointment time). Another ten minutes went by and I asked for prescription form and to see a supervisor. I also asked her if she had thought I was an hour and a half earl why hadnt she mentioned. it. There was no answer after another 15 minutes I again requested my form back at which point a non-repentant supervisor came out and started to talk to me in the hall. I insisted on a private interview. I was told that she was the head of the division and no one had told her I had a earlier appointment. This laid the blame on me. I took my rx back with great difficulty and said this was the third incident like this at this lab in four years. She didnt blink an eye. Well folks the patient pays the bills so I am going to another lab beware this lab

Waited over two hours for my appointment. On top of that, they billed me incorrectly for my service and have received two letters and four phone calls from my insurance co. saying the codes are incorrect and need to be rectified. They refuse to update the billing (for a service where I am covered) and are trying to stick with me a $350 bill. Theyve sent into collections and are rude/hang up on my insurance representatives who try to call and explain or resolve the issue. This is NOT how preventative health care (or health care in general) should be handled!

The bad reviews of this place are correct. Rude inefficient and I finally just walked out. Not interested in being treated like s*** by front desk personnel. P.S. Several hours after leaving I got a call from a technician, apologizing and offering to meet me personally in the lobby and take me directly into an exam room. I accepted and was quickly and professionally examined and sent on my way. The problem, at least in my case, was the front desk person on the first floor. She was not there when I returned and everyone seemed aware of the problem and apologetic. Hope they fix it/her.

I made what I was told was a 7:30 appointment which I concurrently noted in my calendar. When they called to remind me I was told I had a 7:45 appointment. I arrived on time and proceded to wait until nearly 8:30. I had purposely scheduled a first appointment of the day so I could get to work on time. There was no one else there. I suspect that the tech, who could not have been lovelier, arrived at 8 and then needed time to get herself settled and set up. Not the way to take advantage of my time.

They seem to do a good radiology job, but they never sent my results to my doctor. I wasnt aware of that until my next checkup a year later. Also, they asked me to arrive at 7:40 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. appointment, presumably to undress, locker my belongings, etc. But there was no one there! I sat for 20 minutes by myself in half darkness until somebody finally stumbled in to work.

This is my first review online, period. I’m not high maintenance, I’m a very easygoing patient. So the fact that I am writing a HORRIBLE review tells you a lot.On Monday morning I call and made an appt with them for Tuesday, the following day, as well as having my OBGYN fax over my script. So Tuesday morning I call to confirm and they have no record of my appt. and NO fax script. COOL, no problem mistakes happen.I make another appt for Friday, and they proceed to give me another fax number due to the other being out of service. So right after getting off the phone I called my gyno to give her the correct number and have them fax it over again.When I arrive on Friday, they have no records or my script, just my appt. I AM STILL PLAYING IT COOL, ok. Takes about 20 minutes to check me in. After letting me know they can still take me without the script, they send me upstairs to the 3rd floor to wait. I had a 4:30 appt and arrived there at 3:30, the nurse doesn’t come to get me til about 5 o’clock, I told her I didn’t have to pee yet. She gives me “5” minutes which turns into 20 and then has the AUDACITY to come out and take the patient that arrived after me. At this point I am completely shocked. I told her this was unacceptable etc., she looks at me ignores me and take the other patient in.I completely lost it. I demanded to speak to a superviser, who wasn’t there (shocker). I WILL NEVER COME BACK. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to this place. It is completely unprofessional, not reliable timing, and careless staff. An establishment that is run very poorly. Wasted almost 3 hours of my day.And this negative review has nothing to do with “slow elevators”. It is about a completely run down establishment. Wish I would’ve read the reviews before hand, would have saved my time.

I had an 8:45 am appointment this morning @ Chelsea Diagnostic. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile & good morning by the front desk agent Claudia. Claudia made me feel very welcomed. My Radiologist on the 2nd floor Francois is the best! He greeted me with a warm smile & assured me to relax & be anxious for nothing. Francois is very professional & he took time to explain all the steps & the procedure needed in my medical situation. He cared enough to ask me did I have any questions or concerns. The onsite doctor was also amazing. Very friendly & professional. This medical office is very clean & I felt appreciated as a patient & cared for. I highly recommend Chelsea Diagnostic. A mill for womens radiology procedures. My last visit ran 1-1/2 hours late. About 15 robed women in a waiting room without enough chairs. One of the two radiologists I was to see was very late, out-to-lunch so I was eventually told. I requested that two physicians receive my test results--neither got them. This mill has gotten away with its indifferent behavior because they had no competition. But now they do, big-time. This week I had my annual procedures done at The Womens Center at Mount Sinai Chelsea Center on 15th St. What a difference--nice receptionists and waiting area, on-time appointments, communicative radiologists, and test results posted to my online account the very next day. Ladies, do yourselves a favor, make an appointment for 15th St.. And when you do, be sure to specify that you want the 15th St. facility and not Union Sq.

DO NOT GO HERE. I HAVE NEVER GIVEN A NEGATIVE REVIEW ON THE INTERNET.I was referred here for an ultrasound after experiencing pain that I thought was from a misplaced IUD. I checked in, was not told anything about how much MORE the procedure costs at this unwelcoming place than other imaging centers.I received an ultrasound on 7/17/18, was told by the technician that they would send the results to my doctor within two days. After an ENTIRE WEEK of not hearing anything from my doctor under the assumption that no news was good news, I called my OBGYN. They never received the results, and then they contacted Chelsea radiology. On 7/25 Chelsea Radiology sent my results to my OBGYN- the results included confusing typos a medical condition that should be closely monitored. I was completely at risk of losing one of my ovaries because this place did not do their job.I just received a huge confusing bill from them, and I will be filing a complaint with guidance my health insurance company.Again, I am not one to give negative reviews but no one should go to this place.

Zero interaction with the patients waiting for over an hour and a half. Totally unprofessional behavior, including a loud rant, from one particular representative when asked a simple question. Definitely choose another location for your scans. I called Lenox Hill while in the waiting room, collected my prescription and went on my way before wasting any more time. If this crew cant keep a schedule and also not inform the patients of significant delays, I do not trust them with my healthcare.
