Dashboard lights were lighting up like a Christmas tree. Brought the Toyota Highlander in on Tuesday afternoon and it was fixed by the next afternoon. Aaron and his guys did a great job fixing the problem and doing a excellent tune up. A really neat and clean operation. Fair price also. I would highly recommend.

This is the only place I will bring my car. Finding a mechanic you can trust is hard enough, but one who can also give you great service at a reasonable price is absolute gold.These guys will be thorough, and also 100% honest -- if something can wait, they will let you know, and if it cant, theyll tell you that too. Every time I leave my car runs like a knife through warm butter, you can FEEL how much better everything is.And, to be honest, they give you a piece of mind in many ways that others wont -- you never leave thinking, did I really need that, or did I just get ripped off? I always feel extremely confident about everything they have done, the way they communicate it, and their willingness to go the extra mile. I will never go anywhere else.

I brought my car in for a problem that seemed like a spark plug issue. They thought it might be an ignition coil or a fuel injector. When they took the engine apart, they realized it had more problems than they were ready to fix and suggested I take it to a dealership. The diagnostic charge was pretty fair and I really appreciated that they didnt start experimenting with replacing parts like other service shops have done to me.

This is the only place to go . They are professional, helpful and super competent but moreover they are honest.

Nicest guys ever. One time they spent 20 minutes fixing my seat belt and didnt ask for a time. Today they checked and pumped up my tires, were completely honest, and said there wasnt a problem and did not charge. I wish all mechanics were like this!

Really bas service i parked infront of the shop and a guy came all mad to me if what i was doing and told me i need alignent and all mad said NO i cant do aligment right now and left i stayed then for couple of minutes looking in google for other shop and came back all mad that i have to move. The workers are great. The service was so so. My experience was frustrating. They could solve my Privatel and I had to come back over and over. They also fixed something and did it wrong so I had to go to another shop to have that fixed. Again, I really enjoyed working with the people but the quality of work was not the best.

I had a pleasant experience at Manhattan Alignment and Diagnostic Center. My first time at this establishment. I read online reviews and decided to give them a try since they are located at a convenient location for me. I arrived with no appointment. Although calling and scheduling ahead is encouraged on their website.One of the store owners received me and asked what services I needed. I explained my car had a slight vibration around 70mph and that I wanted to find out the cause. After examining and test driving my car he suggested the wheels needed re-balancing. I left the car close to midday and it was ready by 2:45pm. Price was reasonable and service was professional. My car is back to running smoothly on the Turnpike highway! I totally recommend this business.

My daughter commutes to Harlem from NJ daily. She had an accident coming off of the GWB. Ugh!! Where do I get this car fixed in NYC?I looked at garages around her work, CUNY. Manhattan Alignment popped up on google with great reviews. Do I trust the reviews? 47 positive, cant be all wrong. I had it towed there and Nathan from the first minute was straight forward with me , honest about the repairs. My insurance company (Gieco) stepped in and said it was easy working with Nathan toward a resolution on the repair costs. I now have the car, it is running great, actually better than before the accident since it was an older car. He was great to work with as we worked to a fair repair cost. We both worked to the lowest possible cost that worked for both of us.MADC was a surprisingly affordable repair shop in NYC.

I really appreciated the great service at the Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic Center. I went there based on the good reviews I read after having a negative experience at another nearby car mechanic center. For my first visit, I went for just an oil change and George took care of me. His professionalism was apparent from the moment I met him. He did a full examination of my car and was very thorough explaining to me some of the other issues and my options. During my second visit, Nathan took care of my car with equal professionalism and friendliness. I really appreciated the great customer service plus it seemed they were genuinely concerned with making sure my car was safe for me to drive! Id recommend them to anyone in the neighborhood.

Very reliable, honest, and trustworthy mechanics! We were leaving for a big road trip and came to these guys to get our car fully inspected. We ended up needing some rear shocks, which we had heard previously from other mechanics. We got the rear shocks replaced and were on our way. 7 months later the shocks were blown which is very uncommon. Once we got back to NYC we called up Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic Center and told them about the situation, and they had us come in to check them out. Manhattan Alignment & Diagnostic Center ended up ordering new shocks for us and replaced them -everything free of charge. This is true customer service! You can really tell these guys know what theyre doing and they stand behind their service. We highly recommend them!

To begin in short summary, I will never have any auto work done by any outfit other than Aaron & Nathan, brothers & owners of Manhattan Diagnostics !I dont know much about cars (I actually travel exclusively in Manhattan by bike) but I now know mechanics! Recently a vehicle I use for travel to my mothers home in Fl. needed work - serious work, as in too risky to drive. After 3 separate mechanic shops work and their promises it was good to go and each followed by subsequent tows (nothing worse than a break down on a long distance road trip! ), I was one step from calling it scrap metal. Thats when I brought it to Manhattan Diagnostics.The entire experience with Manhattan Diagnostic Center was top quality: warm professionals, communicative, offering insights & suggestions, thorough diagnosis of the areas of needed work. I green-lighted the work still with trepidation (3 times bitten, 4 times shy), but they proved the other mechanics for the inferiors they were.I drove with a heavy load 1200 miles and back a week later and the vehicle handled as if it was new. While driving on the interstate, I kept blessing the dash board and Aaron & Nathan, and their shop. I will only have auto work done by them ... indeed, Im thinking of bringing my bike repairs to them too. :)

I stopped taking my Toyota to the dealer in Manhattan. The service here is just plain better: more capable, more efficient, more courteous, more honest. Prices are fair. Its right near the #1 subway. So what if their waiting room doesnt have a TV and donuts.

These guys are cool. I arrived right around 5:30pm, remembering that they would accept the last appt. Waited for 30 min. and I was out the door. I couldve went to another place that did the job in 15 min. while I wait in my car, for about the same price, but I prefer to support local business and not chains. These guys seem pretty honest and reliable. Its always nice and hard to find honest, trustworthy & reliable people in the automotive industry. My oil change was reasonable since its a newer car, so it requires higher grade quality oil. Overall, nice guys!

Aaron and Nathan are professionals and have fixed my 20 year old car for the past few years. It is hard to find mechanics you trust so we were lucky to have these guys nearby. Yes they may be a bit costly but they are in Manhattan which means their costs are higher too.

Honest & professional. Before even starting the maintenance they showed me every single piece which had to be replaced and explained what was going on. That is the way it has to be. Full transparency. They squeezed me into the day although I had no appointment. Appreciated that a lot. Reasonably priced. Going forward, this will be the shop of my choice.

Could not be better! Friendly, affordable, easy-to-find, and efficient.I needed a state inspection for my car and didnt want to, yet again, go to the dealer where I seem to wait all day and have to deal with traffic to/within/from there. I did a quick search and found MADC, checked the reviews, called, and got an appointment the next day. I asked if they could do an oil change as well and they said no problem.Everything was easy and reliable, I drove right up, met with Nathan, asked how long it would take (he said an hour), and hopped over to Fairway for some breakfast and sat by the Hudson. One hour later, back at the shop, my car was ready, as promised.He even asked if I wanted to have the car washed. I spent a fortune at the dealer for my car, did they ever wash it? Nope. Even though I was already thrilled with the pricing and efficiency, this was a wonderful bonus. And they did more than wash it, it was like they detailed it.Seriously, I didnt want my shoes to touch the now-spotless carpet.

The owner, Aaron, dealt with me directly, never mansplained and even informed me of areas where my car needed attention before the inspection -- tires and back light! This place is as good as it gets. Everyone is always skeptical about mechanic shops taking people for a ride (no pun intended), but these guys are as honest as they come. I have taken my car there now a couple of times and each time they have actually insisted on work that does NOT need to be done and recommendations on how to save money. I was in NY for only a few days, but my inspection had expired months before. I was desperate. These guys were wonderful. They were busy (I imagine they always are), but they agreed to squeeze me in. They were very pleasant and efficient. My wait was short, I was again legal, and I left, a very satisfied customer. I think the stars from their customers are well deserved.

I visited this shop for a state inspection after intending to use another place that did not take reservations and said to bring the car in first thing next morning. When I got there, they said they were too busy and would not be able to get to my car.I called MA&DC, and although the person said they only do inspections by appointment, he told me it was not too busy yet and to bring it over. I drove up, they took the car in, and were done in a 1/2 hour. Their policy is cash only for reinspection fees, but since they hadnt told me on the phone, they let me charge the cost.They were accommodating, kind, professional, and efficient, and this new Manhattan resident intends to make them my go-to mechanic in the city.

I recently took my work vehicle into Manhattan Alignment and Diagnostic center at 555 W131 Street. I needed to have my yearly inspection as well as trouble shoot any issues that may arise post inspection. Sure enough, there were some issues that needed fixing, balding back tire and my check engine light was on. The inspection and work were all completed in a timely manner. Aaron, one of the friendly shop owners made sure to take the time to explain all the issues to me clearly. Everyone working there was extremely nice and accommodating. It is apparent that Aaron and the rest of the crew know what it takes to bring customers back. I will be bringing the van into Manhattan Alignment for any further issues and inceptions and I highly recommend everyone else to do the same. Great customer service!

They found the problem with my brakes in a matter of minutes and managed to do the repairs in a few hours. I had recently started getting a grinding noise in the rear passanger side break. The noise was getting worse with time. Come to find out one of the rear drums on my car was warped (brakes were installed at another dealer). Manhattan Alignment gound-down the inside of the drum and my car was as good as new. And, the price for the repair seemed resonable to me. Very pleased with the service I received. Also, pleased that Ive found a repair shop in Manhattan that I can trust.

Finding Manhattan wheel alignment was a gift sent from upabove. As far as Im concerned I will never go anywhere else ever again. The owners Aaron and Nathan took care of me as if I were family. Great experience. This place replaced my rotors and breaks. They showed me the problem and it was easy to agree on the work that needed to be done. Pricing was very fair and itemized. Its not outrageous like you would think a repair shop might be in Manhattan but the same pricing I saw in western NY.They got my car back to me the same day I dropped it off.Location is easy also easy to find and not on a crowed street.

Went to get a sunroof tube cleaning of debris that was causing leakage. The problem never went away and showed up again three weeks later. They couldnt guarantee us they could look at it again for free, so we drove the car down to a Carsense and got the same service plus an oil change, engine cleaning, and AC drainage all for 10 dollars cheaper than Manhattan Alignments singular service. Marked up prices with inconsistent results.
