The staff are very polite and professional. Starting from the front desk all the way to the doctors. They offered excellent customer services. I went there many times and I never experience anyone not getting excellent services. Very humble and caring. The location is great and the place is in extremely clean conditions and they do practice social distancing. There is hardly any wait time. The services are on point. The doctors and staff are excellent and most of all, the services they provide are the best and you get positive results after prescriptions or treatment. I highly recommend this clinic. Do not hesitate to schedule your appointment. 👏👍

We have been going to this place for many years. Dr. DiCicco is amazing and his staff is friendly, helpful and caring. I’ve been to many dermatologist and he is fantastic. The space is welcoming and clean. I highly recommend.

Firstly both ladies at the reception were very rude. If they didn’t want to work shouldn’t show up. They had a very nasty attitude. When you walk into a place the first people you meet are at the reception desk. They both had an attitude like they didn’t care about working or helping the customers. As for the doctor who saw me he was very nice and thorough with everything. Even the nurses with him were very nice. They at the back were welcoming but not the receptionists.

The staff and doctors here were excellent. I watched how they treated others while I waited my turn, and youd think you were in southern United States (southern charm) because they were that nice. As for my visit, my medical needs were met and exceeded. Dr. Beau DiCicco was nice and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it. Nice people.

Really needed to see a dermatologist today. Made an appointment through ZocDoc and Called in to verify that this facility was “In Network” and the front desk goes “You need to contact your insurance company to find that out.” I explained to her that i work in a medical Practice and she should know basic information about where she works because nobody wants to get caught by surprise with a crazy bill she proceeds to say “well we do take your insurance here so it should be in network” .... If she was trained better she would know this is not how insurance works at all. She gets upset and hung up on me ... A patients Front Desk experience will determine a lot in terms of a company’s success. You need to train your front desk better.

These people were amazing! I’m getting married in a few days and just today a cyst popped up on my chin. I could not get an appointment for a simple cortisone injection at my usual dermatologist’s office even though they have multiple locations. I googled “cortisone shot near me” and The Dermatology Specialists came up - with 15 minutes before closing I ran down to see if they’d take me - I knew it was a long shot but I had to try. I found out that they usually don’t take walk in after 6pm but there wasn’t anyone waiting in the office so they made an exception for me. Everyone from the front desk, nurse, and doctor were kind, patient, and the whole thing took less than ten minutes. Sure beats the half hour I was on the phone with my dermatologist office talking to a third party begging them to just connect me to the front desk. I am seriously considering switching over to The Dermatology Specialists!

Found this place just walking on second Avenue. Just walked in, super easy to make an appointment. They took my insurance. The doc saw me next day. She was excellent. Gave me a topical prescription and sent me on my way. I knew she was a good doctor; I’ve been to many (too many) derms in my lifetime.Kinda nice having a good doc office in a typically retail space (I guess it used to be a store or a salon) Not used to that in NYC.

It was a pleasant experience here overall starting from how easy it was to make an appointment and get seen quickly. I made the appointment in the afternoon the day before and was able to be seen the next morning.I was seen on time and everyone was effective. The offices are clean.

74th street is a great location ! The Medical Secretarys are so nice.. Dr. DiCicco was so patient and personable.. MY procedure was easy and practically painless. Im really impressed with my experience here! Its a lovely practice, the staff are all really nice, and the Dermatologist I saw was awesome. I did feel a tad bit rushed along during my visit, but that also meant things moved quickly and I didnt have to wait all afternoon. I only have one main complaint: the Dermatologist came into the room after I gave my medical history to the medical assistant, and he was followed by a PA. Then the medical assistant, PA, and the doctor all stayed for the exam as while as the entire time I discussed my concerns with the doctor. They mostly lingered and watched - maybe the assistant was taking notes? It felt strange and crowded to have all four of us in the small room. If the PA and medical assistant had left, this would have been a perfect experience. Overall Im happy and plan to keep coming back to this practice!

They are NOT a Doctors office - it is an office run by physicians assistances and the administrative procedures are completely inadequate. Don’t use their services - you are charged for high rates as if you were seeing a doctor and there isn’t even one at the location. Followup is horrendous - full of attitude and excuses.

I saw Dr. DiCicco for a couple of different skin issues, acne, warts in my hands and to get Botox. He was able to address all of them all in the first visit! I returned for a follow up to continue treatment. The warts in my hands needed another round of cryotherapy, my acne was clearing up with the prescription he recommended and I feel my Botox results were better since administered by Dr. DiCicco then compared to the nurse at the esthetician spa where I used to go. I trusted him after seeing positive results and I told him about additional issue I had with scar tissue and melasma. He addressed that as well and to my surprise I improved after he treated my scar tissue and I’m going to start a new cream prescription to treat the brown patches in my cheeks. Overall I am impressed by Dr. DiCicco and wanted to share my experience for other to feel confident in choosing him as a dermatologist.

I didn’t have an issue with my doctor my issue was with receiving my prescriptions and the staff...when I left I was told by the doctor that I had 3 prescriptions and someone from the pharmacy would be contacting me in a few hours. He said if I didn’t hear anything to call the pharmacy.I waited two hours, called and was told the prescription had not been filled and to call the doctor office. I called the office had them fill it again then waited. I called a second time to the pharmacy and they still had not received my information. I called the doctor office again and they filled it a third time. Still waited, same scenario happens a FOURTH time. I really needed this medication as I was having some type of allergy reaction on my face. I called the doctor office a fifth time and a woman said she would call the pharmacy herself and figure it out then call me back. I received no call back...and the pharmacy still had not received anything. I went online and submitted a request to be texted by the doctors office...it said it would be two hours and I never received a text that day or the next morning.I waited the next morning, called the office one more time and couldn’t get a hold of anyone in the UES office. So I WALKED BACK to the doctors office to ask what was going on. I talked to Tiffany, the manager and she said she would call the pharmacy herself and process it while I was there.Once that was complete, she said I was good to go. Absolutely no remorse from her whatsoever.I left and waited an hour before calling the pharmacy again. When I called they still had no info for me....the person I talked to went into the system and found that the doctors office had been sending it to a completely DIFFERENT pharmacy! The doctors office told me they were sending the prescriptions to 3rd ave apothecary pharmacy (who I had continued to call) and they had actually been sending multiple prescriptions to Apotheco Pharmacy..a completely different place.To say that I am upset is an under statement. I now am waiting 2 extra days to receive the medication I desperately need.
