Dr. Schlesinger is awesome! He’s been my dentist for a few years.Now the 2 stars are for the TERRIBLE office staff. Lila the newest receptionist has a serious attitude. Lila gave me incorrect billing information; yea sure you can pay them submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Now I knew this information was totally incorrect so i tried to ask more question. Lila started over talking me. Then she gave me the only choice of canceling my appointment then hung up the phone.I must have called the office 10x and she refused to answer. Finally someone else answered and said the manger would call me back, I’m still waiting. Lila is unprofessional and I wouldn’t ever go back if I have to deal with her.

Sooooo happy I found a very good dentist. The office is clean, relaxing and very polite front desk receptionist. Dr. Schlesinger took such great care of me. He gave me a detailed cleaning, review of my X-rays, and recommendations for my general dental health. Dr. S was really thorough and friendly whilst equally warm, considerate and professional.Great experience. I highly recommend.

I was visiting NYC for my medical health (recent breast CA diagnosis, getting treatment at MSKCC) when my crown fell off. Dr Schlesinger’s staff accommodated me swiftly, and Dr Schlesinger took care of it promptly. He has impeccable professionalism, and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable given my recent double mastectomy.He has my strongest recommendation.

Dr. Schlesinger is one of the best dentists that I met.I went there for a dental emergency with an extremely painful tooth that he treated right away. He took his time to explain me about my condition. His assistant was understanding and courteous. She put me at ease too.He is laid back, does his work meticulously, gently and perfectly. He is great to make his patients feel they are special. Takes his time with educating the patient. His staff is friendly and professional. In his state of the art office I feel like in a spa. I feel relaxed and confident that I got an excellent care with each visit. His multiple certificates, licenses and awards also speak a lot about his dedication and excellence in dental profession.I am lucky that I met Dr. Schlesinger. I continue to see him regularly with my other dental problems too. I learned new things about dental hygiene and my teeth since starting to visit his office.I am sure I will continue to visit Dr. Schlesinger as my regular dentist as long as I am in NY. Dr Schlesinger is the best dentist in town. So much so, that even though we moved to NJ, my husband and I take the 1 hour train ride in every 6 months for our appointments. Dr Schlesinger takes the time to explain everything going on. He meticulously performs the cleanings himself with an assistant. My teeth always feel so clean after, making the long trip in well worth it. Thank you Dr Schlesinger!

Dr. Schlesinger is a great dentist and my favorite doctor in the city. I have been a patient of his for many years and I wont go anywhere else. He is a true professional and I enjoy visiting his office for routine cleanings and check ups. I never have to wait long to be seen and his staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Schlesinger has a steady hand and always makes me feel at ease when I have to have any sort of work done. Im afraid of needles and someone is always there to hold my hand during the procedure. He does a great job and looks out for my best interest in all situations. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch dentist.

As a nervous patient I used to fear dental visits but that has changed since seeing Dr. Schlesinger. His calm demeanor and welcoming staff put me to ease. Rather than ignore my fears, he answers my questions no matter how irrational they may be. Dr. Schlesinger explains what is happening when I ask and offers words of support throughout the visit. I even get to listen to music as he is working on my mouth which helps to distract me too! I can not recommend him enough :)

I rarely post online reviews but felt obligated to after coming across Dr Schlesingers one other google review. He is by far the best dentist I have ever been to and I have proudly been going to him for almost a decade. He has a very soft touch, is very transparent, timely, and makes visiting the dentist as easy as it can be. In regards to pricing, Ive never had an issue and he was kind enough to allow me to pay in installments when my insurance didnt cover the amount of work I needed. I suspect the other review might be from a competitor or someone who might be unstable.

Dr. Schlesinger is the Best Dentistry Dr. in NYC. He is Very Knowledgeable & Professional. He is American Board of General Dentistry Certified, Academy of General Dentistry Master as well as an Associate Fellow in The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, That speaks volumes! I highly recommend Dr. Schlesinger for ALL Your Dental concerns! He is truly the BEST in NYC!

Dr S is exceptional, truly passionate about his profession and when he knows it is more than he can deal with he recommends the best Endodontic Microsurgent!He saved my tooth! He could have just taken it! He makes you feel very comfortable! I gave birth to 3 kids but i still get nervous of dentists, he is the first that truly understands it! His stuff is welcoming, helpful and very friendly. This place is one of the best hidden gems of the UES!!!

Dr Schiesinger is one of the worst Dentists in New York City. He is a fraud. I saw him a while back for a simple x and y agreement. I was looking for a doctors confirmation on certain specific criteria. Dr Schiesinger agreed to confirm this specific criteria after being told in detail to answer certain questions. He stated his price was $85. I paid his price of $85 Dollars, and he then tried to pull a bait and switch over the top for $600 Dollars more. He refused to complete the full questions he agreed to answer and confirm after being paid. Dr William Schiesinger not only broke our agreement, he also kept the money he was paid, and refused to give it back. Dr William Schiesinger is scum, very dishonest. Stay away from this doctor, and be very careful.
