Such a good dentist I’ve actually flossed 2 days in a row since my appointment.

This was my first appointment at this practice. Dr. Kimon was thorough but efficient, and gave me a clear explanation of what he was evaluating and what he found. In my judgment he made a good trade-off between preemptive care and further evaluation for the problems he found, giving me options but making clear recommendations for what he thought was best. Before going ahead with one specific procedure, he checked my insurance and consulted me when he found it was not covered.

Downtown Dental Studio, has been my place to go for cleaning and dental repairs since 2017. I really like their service because it is reliable, professional, the customer service is outstanding, friendly and kind. They will work with you to make sure you are satisfied.I personally have been the patient for Dr. Alexander Kimon, and Dr. Karina Zaygermakher. They are both outstanding professionals.And have to mention Eloise, her customer service is about and beyond.I will definitely recommend this dental office.Diana

Dr. Zaygermakher was very thorough. She pointed out issues and make recommendations on my teeth that went above and beyond what any other dentist had previously. She was also very pleasant to interact with. I look forward to seeing her again in my next follow-up appointment and would highly recommend her for anyone else looking for a great dentist.

Dr Kimon fixed a long-standing problem of mine with an implant, which Id begun to assume was impossible to fix. He explained every bit of it, was careful I understood the problem and his proposed solutions, and made sure I agreed with his strategy. (I did.) Beautiful. And surprisingly efficient when doing the actual work; took less time than I feared, for sure!

The team at Downtown Dental Studio is AMAZING!! I was recommended to Dr. Zaygermakher when I had a problem during the initial COVID-19 pandemic. Of course I was nervous, but Dr. Zaygermakher instantly calmed my nerves. It was a pleasure to meet her and work with her!!! I will be sticking with this office. From walking in the front door, to the dental chair, to exiting, it is always a pleasure coming here! Thank you to all the staff including Tamara and the other young lady who handles the billing (her name escapes me) but you know who you are 😁 and the dental assistants!!!

The dentist is highly professional, competent, reliable, and honest, made me feel at ease, confident, and relaxed on each visit and walked me through each step of the treatment plan. Setting the expectations right before and after the sessions. I have all of my dental services taken care of here, on a regular basis. The staff as Downtown Dental are always friendly and informative. Ive quite enjoyed my time going to their office. Dr. Kimon is gentle and up front, and the entire team is willing to work with you for time and and foreknowledge of any necessary procedures.

The staff is very friendly, they try to help you in the best way possible. The wait time is usually around 5 minutes, which is incredible. Dr. Kimon and Norman are highly professional and they explain every step thoroughly and make you feel at ease. I would highly recommend them!

I started as a new patient, having done a few years with dental work. The office was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They constantly were going above and beyond and making sure I fully understood the process and costs. I would 100% recommend this office to everyone. (Also every procedure thus far has been 100% painless.)

The wait time was barely 1 min. For my first visit, I checked in, filled out some paperwork, and as soon as I was done with paperwork, I was led to the room.Both the staff and the doctor explained all procedures thoroughly, answered my questions even to the degree of the things I didnt know to think about prior. Very helpful staff.Also, the dentist and the staff seem to have really good communication all around, so that as a patient I felt I was in good hands that I didnt have to worry about what I might forget to ask. The staff already knew based on what I had discussed with the doctor.The payment process is pretty seamless. The staff/nurse there explained everything about my insurance and what I need to pay.Definitely will go back for my future dental needs.

Other than paper work, there was literally no waiting time. One of the best cleaning and teeth exam I have ever had. I have to say Dr. Karina was awesome with her work. She gave me a through exam and explained to me everything that I need to get done to maintain my teeth. Also thanks to Eloise the communication was excellent.

I had a quasi emergency and Dr. Karina put me in her schedule rather quickly (as always). I was so desperate to have my issue resolved that I forgot to ask what measures were in place to address COVID-19. Upon arriving I saw a sign on the door indicating masks required. I was the sole person in the waiting area. A clear panel had been put before the reception desk and everyone was wearing a mask. There was a receptacle on the desk carrying sanitized pens along with a bottle of hand sanitizer. In addition to a mask, Dr. Karina wore a shield while working. I went by bicycle and could leave it inside the building in an area specifically for bikes without having to worry about locking it up. They seem to have thought of everything and once again, I am very impressed!

The doctors are amazing as always! Ive had fillings, bondings, invisalign & implants done here and so far, Im very pleased with the results. I definitely recommend this office to everyone.

I have been going to Downtown Dental for 3 years and they always take excellent care of me. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Dr Kimon takes the stress out of dentist visits and my teeth have never been better!

Dr. Karina, Mel & Elle are amazing! I brought my kids with me (all 4 of them) and even though they are not a pediatric dentist, they still catered to them! My 4 y/o loves going to the dentist now to take pictures of his teeth (x-ray) and get his teeth polished. As for me, I had to get a pulpotomy done due to a really bad filling from another dentist (and will be going back for a root canal soon).Dr. Karina is so gentle with the needle, I was bracing myself for the dreaded needle pain, and it felt like she just squirted my mouth with water. I didnt even feel the darn thing! She was quick and gentle, I cant wait to transition over here as my family dentist!My other 11 year old got 3 teeth pulled and she was also all in good spirits right after. they really do take the dental fears away. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else!

My experience was way better than I expected. My dentist went above and beyond when doing my cleaning and didnt try to force me into any unwanted treatment. The secretary was also very friendly.

The entire staff at Downtown Dental was great. The front desk is quick and efficient, and I had practically no waiting time.Galina gave me the best teeth cleaning I have ever had. I had not had a cleaning in over a year, so her job was not easy, but she was patient and thorough. I had always had bleeding/swollen gums, and other dentists told me I needed surgery. Since the cleaning, my gum problems have gone away completely.I also did a whitening procedure - which took half an hour and my teeth have never looked better!Downtown Dental is great, and I look forward to coming back for many years to come!

I want to thank the dentist and his entire staff for the excellent treatment and service I received. Growing up I never liked my smile, my front teeth were discolored and had bad spaces between them. I would use my hands to cover my mouth whenever I smile. My life has improved dramatically when I had my veneers put on. I have so much more self confidence and I can’t stop smiling and it just took me 2 appointments to put my confidence back on track.

My wife went here to have a cap put on a root canal. They provided a written estimate which broke down the charges and insurance reimbursement percentages. They failed to mention that the particular dentist doing the work was out-of-network, and in fact billed a separate cleaning (with the same dentist, but using a different dentists name) as in-network. The quality of the work was fine but the lack of clarity and transparency in their billing led to a much larger than anticipated cost out of pocket. They denied any error despite the written estimate. Double check your insurance plans before getting any work done here, as they will deliberately mislead you.

This is hands down the best place for dental work in downtown Manhattan. I used to switch dental offices left and right. Since I found this place, it is the only one I use.
