Dr. Lai is extremely professional and kind. He explained everything in great detail to educate me. I can tell he is a perfectionist and takes immense pride in his work. I feel so much more at ease with him than any of my prior dentists! I am so happy I was able to find him and hope to continue this for the foreseeable future!

This was my first visit with Dr. Lai. My appointment started on time. Dr. Lai asked about my dental history for some background and then took a few x-rays to screen for cavities and other potential problems. He was very patient in explaining the x-rays image by image which was very helpful. He then proceeded to give me a thorough yet gentle cleaning and we were done! Overall, a great experience and I will be returning in the fall.

“PreZen Dental”Weird name, right? Is it a pun on presidential? Will my teeth look like the president’s? Didn’t most of our presidents have bad teeth? Is it like presentation? Because I’ll want to present my teeth after I get them nice and clean? Or is it pre-zen? Must one get their teeth clean in order to feel zen? I don’t know.What I do know is that Herrick is a good dentist. Do with that info what you will.

My experience at Dr. Lais was about as good as any dentist experience could be. Dr. Lai is extremely thorough and communicative. He is clearly very knowledgeable and works efficiently. Professional as he was not the correct specialist we needed. We are in need of an Oral Surgeon specialist but he does Oral surgery but he is not a specialist. He also stated he would not charge our insurance as he did not provide a service.
