I’m so impressed with America’s skills in styling my super thick, long, curly (3c) hair! I got a wash, condition, trim, blow out and style. She was so friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. For the efficiency and great price point- I’ll definitely be back for balayage highlights next!Hells Kitchen is very lucky to have such an experienced stylist in the neighborhood.

Ms. America is wonderful! There is a very warm, atmosphere in the Salon. Orlando who is a licensed barber but also does hair/highlights did mine. Absolutely loved it. He is so thorough and precise! Ms. America did my moms hair and she absolutely loved it!! Please try her salon its worth it!! Great Experience.

I went to the hair salon last weekend for the first time. I booked an appointment online for a very simple hair trim and for curtain bangs and on the website it said it would cost around $34. When I arrived at the salon I felt very welcomed and the hairdresser was very friendly. A really cute lady. However I asked her to trim my hair ( I have long straight hair) for about an inch and to cut the front a little shorter ( curtain bangs). So nothing complicated. After she was done she charged me $88 which was a shock because I expect it to be more than $34 because my hair is very long but more than double what the price online said was very shocking. She could have said at least something before she started cutting my hair. However when I was home I noticed that one side of my bangs is way shorter then the other side and it looks really bad. I wish I noticed that in the hair Salon but I was trusting the lady. Anyway I definitely would not come again.

Fast and beautiful space for beautiful hair. I have pretty long hair that reaches the lower end of my back and America delivered beautifully. Decently priced for Manhattan prices especially with my long hair. Would definitely go back to her again soon.

Absolutely amazing. So kind and really takes time and cares for customers. Only took an hour and a half to do (natural black hair) wash, deep condition, blow dry, and flat iron. Cant wait to go again next time I visit NY!

I just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a new barber. The first place I called wanted to charge $45! i kept looking and was glad I found this place. The lady that cut my hair was hilarious and did a great job. Also it was much more affordable.
