Ive been coming to Acupuncture remedies now for about 8 months and its been a blessing in disguise. These ladies are the best. (was treated by Alexandra and Marcy) While visiting from abroad I pulled my back out and could hardly walk. Acupuncture was recommended to me while I was trying to conceive. I had never tried it before but was happy to give anything a try that may help me get pregnant. Ive been coming to Acupuncture Remedies for about a year now. Mostly because of neck and shoulder tension and pain from sitting at a computer and playing an instrument. I feel better every time I get treatment here, it really helps loosen everything up and move fluidly. Iris, Kim and Sarah are all great and really listen when I explain whats going on. I loved the service! I live out of state and was looking to purchase a gift certificate for a friend in NYC. Out of the 5 places that I contacted, Iris was the first and only one to call me back. Something about her taking the time to pick up her phone and introduce herself and her company really showed me that she was willing to go above and beyond for her clientele. Despite being married to Iris (Owner of Acupuncture Remedies) I feel the need to publicly express how amazing her service is.I play sports! Tough sports on the body like ice hockey and rock climbing. And I get hurt; a pull here, a strain there...it gets worse with age, and I feel like Im just beginning (surfing is my latest obsession). As we live in CT and the office is in NY, I often ask/plead/beg Iris to remember to bring home needles. Youd think wed have a serious supply at home, but we dont.When she does bring needles home, and I am fortunate to have acupuncture performed on me by her, I very quickly experience the healing she is so blessed to posses. Her application of acupuncture on my body has mellowed serious muscle and joint pain, and set my troubled parts on a much quicker path toward healing. Its amazing how the acupuncture speeds up recovery. I swear by it!! And often long for it!!Youd think Id have the luxury to have acupuncture preformed on me everyday. Sadly with a busy family and her busy practice in NYC thats not possible. But I still try!!

Iris looks at me as a whole person with each visit. She was my first acupuncturist experience in Manhattan and introduced me to the practice gently and with professional concern and caring. I suffered from endometriosis, cysts, and eventually had to process a hysterectomy. Her compassion for her patients is exemplary and the environment of her studio/practice is relaxing, clean, and comfortable. The midtown location makes it accessible and scheduling is very flexible.

I have walked through a magic door ! i had a very bad sport injury in my ankle & up my leg. it was swollen, stiff and hurting. i couldnt run, and it just hurt and was uncomfortable all day long. after trying every possible home remedy , including rest, i had no idea what to do. i came by Acupuncture Remedies only by chance. and i am so happy i did ! my initial visit With Marcy, was a life saver. she was quite alarmed (trying not to alarm me ;)) of the state my ankle was at, and we began treatment. the following morning - the swelling was almost completely gone ! the pain has gone down to close to non and i was probably the happiest person on earth. at first, Marcy thought i should consult (for the follow up visit ) with another acupuncture colleague who should take a look at it, but i obviously called immediately to say that i wish to continue the treatment with her, given the results. i have resumed running, and i trust Marcy to tell me when its safe to end the treatment . based on this unexpected exceptional result, i am now beginning cosmetic acupuncture (will review this in the future ) the entire process - scheduling /re-scheduling/etc was seamless , and always with immediate response. i wish i had gone sooner .

I have been a faithful client of this practice before I got pregnant, now through my pregnancy, and Im sure what will be beyond. There are times when youre not entirely sure if its the acupuncture or if things are working themselves out on their own - this is not one of those times. I feel confident that the work Ive done with Iris has made a huge difference for me. I went in about six months or so ago with horrible pain from a spine injury; sciatica, bulging discs, stenosis, nerve pain, the works. My file read like I was in my 60s, even though I look like a completely healthy 25 year-old. When I found AR, I had already been to a different acupuncturist, but had never felt comfortable there. Let me tell you - AR is a completely different experience. Everyone is so kind and warm, and the facility is clean and comfortable. I combined my treatment with sports therapy massage and I feel like I can finally keep the pain at bay. Its really been a huge relief. Definitely try it out for a few months if you can.

I wasnt sure about acupuncture but my allergies have been driving me crazy so I called Accupuncture Remedies after a friend recommended them to me. I used to get recurring sinus infections but Jennifer and Marcy have finally cured me. I can breathe, I can smell and I dont have sinus pressure. I dont have to take Claritin. I feel so lucky to have found them!!

The service is great. They care and have helped me tremendously.

A poor healer with no ears to hear the patient to know the correct diagnosis. Never go there. A waste of money (1 hr for $180!!!!!)- Worthless.

I have seen Iris for almost two years now and anticipate seeing her for years to come. I first sought out her services when I was about to embark on IVF and wanted to prepare my body the best way possible. While Ill never know if my beautiful baby girl is here because of her treatments, I can say that she made a stressful and emotional time easier and full of hope. Im one of the lucky ones where IVF worked the first time and I can say for certain that I would seek Iris help if i were to try again. I am amazed at the whole process and how such small, virtually painless needles can have such a positive impact on my body.
