#PandemicReviewwhat can i say? Modern Acupuncture is the BEST. oh, trust me.my body has been going through what you would call a crisis and i have been trying everything and the moon to better. now- eastern medicine is helpful and even groundbreaking, but i wanted to try something close to my cultural roots. ive gone to herbalists and many Chinese medicine clinics. none of which i have been able to receive the care that i desired. its hard to admit, but the language barrier really hurt my relationships with these specialists and ive been wanting to find a place that can really empathize and curate a plan with me to get better. here comes Modern Acupuncture!i found them on Yelp. low and behold- a modern and spa-like establishment i can feel excited to come inside. check in is simple: you have to sign a few forms to get started. you walk into this quiet and serene tomb of pillowy and luxurious recliner chairs and your acupuncturist goes through your concerns and what you want to work on. whether that be depression, anxiety, nervousness, pain, digestion, sleep, etc.- they go through everything and make a plan with you. then, the needles come!the massage and reclining of the chair makes you feel like youre on a cloud. just... floating in the air. every section is separated with curtains and you will see they sanitize every station before and after. i love being in there all by myself. they cover you with a thermal blanket to take a nice nap. i often sleep and have a dream or two.after the treatment, the acupuncturist talks to you back to reality. unlike other places where they just tell you your session is over- Modern Acupuncture takes the time to truly feel and listen to your story. this is the best discovery i have ever made during the pandemic and i am so thankful for the entire team.

Just when I started feeling almost hopeless about my pain going away from a torn meniscus surgery that I had seven months ago, I found Modern Accupuncture. So far I have had 5 treatments and my pain is 75% less. The whole environment is absolutely beautiful, relaxing and healing. Very blessed to have found it.

Sublime! Modern acupuncture has thought of everything. From the registration process and video introduction, to the tea awaiting you when you have received your treatment. The design is minimalist and welcoming. The zero gravity chairs something you will never want to leave combined with the built in massage and heat. All this before your session begins.Community acupuncture is amazing. The different membership options offered by modern acupuncture support you to receive regular treatment. Great idea.I had a lovely session with Diane and left feel rested and my congestion for sure better. Will visit again and highly recommended.
