I loved Dr. Anderson and all of the nurses. They were very nice and helpful no matter what. BUT! The front office staff is insanely rude for absolutely no reason at all. My first few times going here they were nice and cordial. In person they are completely different. Over the phone is an absolute nightmare. I guess they don’t know how to print a paper. And according to them it takes 48 hours to print a SINGLE paper. Maybe there printer is broken, I don’t know. But I have switched offices just because of the front office staff!

I absolutely 💯 percent love Dr anderson she is amazing and listens to everything I have to say does not push anything off like most doctors do, she has treated everything I need treated and has helped me with my weight loss journey am Im so thankful for that ❤ shes an awsome doctor I would refer everyone to her

Alex the nurse was right on top of everything. The place is warm and inviting. Dr Anderson was fantastic.

Ive been going to Family Health Associate for 30 plus years. Dr. George Smith was my Dr 1st then when Dr. Carter came Dr Smith switched me over to Dr. Carter. I really do like Dr.Carter and his wife Karen I feel like theyre part of my family. Dr. Carter takes his time with you and if he dont know whats wrong then he will send you somewhere else instead of keep trying to find out. His Physician Assistants are really good also. Dr Anderson done good delivering my Grandson. The front office is nice also. I recommend Family Health Associate for your Primary Care Physicians. I give them 5 plus stars.

Insanely rude front office staff. I read the other reviews before going here and thought, oh well thats just a few negative people complaining, but they were absolutely correct. Its amazing these people even have jobs at all with how they treat their patients/customers. And this seems to have been an issue for years, so at what point are the doctors not aware and just not doing anything about it???

Me nd my family all go to Family Health Associates. Dr Carter and the staff there are kind, have empathy, and are very professional. Highly recommend.

Everyone is very competent and caring. I have had nothing but exceptional service here.

Update 2021: So its been a few years since this post, and its a lot better now. I do recommend them to family and friends needing a PCP.Dr. Carter, his practitioners, and nursing staff are all great. My family has been going there for over a decade. Dr. Carter is the sweetest. However, the front desk staff is a nightmare. If I could just bypass them altogether that would be great. The are always rude, very short, never do more than bare minimum. I dread having to call them for anything. Really considering changing doctors, based on the front desk staff alone. Beware if you call!

If I could give negative stars I would. I have an appointment at 10am but didnt get seen until an hour and 1/2 later. When Dr. Anderson finally did show up she did not apologize for the wait but instead seemed as if she was angry. I never felt so unwelcome. I will not be coming back here every again.

The front staff is always kind and professional ! makes you feel like one of the family!! I have seen Dr. Anderson for years and dont know what I would do without her and her staff!

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The front office staff is incredible rude and unprofessional. They have no issues with making you wait over an hour before being seen. They WERE my primary care provider and when I attempted to complain about their extremely poor service the office manager had a major attitude problem. Aside from the rude service they like to milk the insurance company by having you return unnecessarily monthly for check ups before renewing certain medications when its very common for other doctors to only require you to check up every 6 months. Highly do not recommend, many other well qualified family practices that will appreciate your business.

Didnt have a Family Doctor since I relocated to Mufreesboro from Michigan. After much research and prayer, I was lead to this office today. My visit was everything I was looking for. From the front reception area, to the nurses and the Doctor. Everyone was so pleasant, professional and welcoming. I was also very pleased at them sensing my concerns and made sure to get me in. The Dr. and his staff give you a sense of comfort. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. I was extremely pleased with my visit and will be bringing my entire family here now.

Never go here ..... Ever .... The people at the front desk are rude and 100% ignorant in every aspect of their job. They do not follow through with anything pertaining to appointments. Not to mention they take 45 minutes to an hour to call you back. This is not a place I will ever go back to. Ever. I would take any sickness before coming here.

Do not go here. I started out with this doctors office for a strep throat test and was pleased with the doctor so merged to primary care. They started giving me anxiety medication because I brought up some mental health issues at one of my visits. After several months they referred me to a psychiatrist who they said would continue to write my scripts and generally take care of me better because that was his specialty. I agreed. After seeing the psychiatrist he completed ignored my anxiety medication until it was time for a refill. He then refused (because he doesnt do that) and told me my only option was to check into his hospital drug detox center (I am not a drug addict) or to go back to FHA. When I called family health associates they told me too bad and that they couldnt do anything because once they refer you to a different dr they wipe their hands of you. I really found out how addictive this medication was when I ended up having a seizure at work and now have an outrageous ER bill. I wish somebody would have cared to spare me the embarrassment and bill I am now struggling to be able to afford.

The people at the front desk dont care and are the rudest people on the planet. They dont care. They dont care.

I have gone here for twenty years and will continue as long as they are open. A great practice indeed!
