Outstanding night shift nurse staff. Tonya our nurse (angel) was the most caring and helpful person I could have asked for my wife and my new born son. She wouldn’t leave my wife’s side and was able to understand my wife was in a emergency point and helped her with all the process and basically saved my son. Thank you hopefully you see this message because I didn’t have the chance to thank you enough in person.

Wowww, I have no words to describe how I feel after my daughter 5 months old was here. I got this hospital by mistake because the rescue took us there as it was the nearest hospital at the time of the emergency. Today I thanks god for this. To begin with, nurses are very sweet with children, they play with children to entertain them as part of their routine when they are doing some procedures, a nurse at the emergency room, I don’t remember her name because I was so nervous an impaciente as my baby was having seizures, she was an Angel, she mande me fell in care and was extremely paciente and sweet white my baby. Next, doctors are there for you, they take time to explain everything but most importantly they make sure your child safety and health are in good standards. These doctors don’t treat you as, ( I’m the doctor and your here because you need my help), they treat you because they are humans and that can really feel your worries, children really matter for them, they show there are still doctors out there really working with passion.I know procedures take time in this hospital because they have shortness, for example , I was waiting like half a day for an EEG but by that time I was not at emergency so I could wait, in don’t care about it, it’s worth the time, I couldn’t have better experience overall.Finally, parents, if you can, take your children here you will never regret, I could do it again if I have to. Took my newborn for RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) and waited over 30 minutes for shift change in emergency room. Its okay, we went to Mercy hospital to take care of our infant.

Miami transplant institute and Jackson memorial hospital, are the greatest!My 2-year-old son had a very rare tumor that was found in his liver and bile duct, in late March.I met with the transplant team in April, and my son was already having surgery on May 1st! Dr. Tekin my sons surgeon is very honest and does not sugarcoat anything, he will be very straight forward which as a parent that’s what I wanted, honesty! I assure you he is the best of the best, from my personal experience ! Dr. Tekin also treats his patient with so much love, always with a smile on his face!dr.Tekin, and his team, were extremely informative every single step of the way! Always there to answer any concerns! They are with you every step of the way !!! EVERYONE in MTI have been so attentive during this journey.Doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable, and compassionate! .Communication,when I had a question or concern Caroline Almay Smith, the nurse practitioner who was the one I would always reach about any question . was just a call and email away, she was truly an angel because of her I think I had so much peace of Mind! She was truly amazing, very heartwarming, and treated us like family !!Surgery!My son was admitted to the hospital day before surgery, after you get admitted Tekin and his team go see you to answer any questions!Day of surgeryMy sons surgery was 6 hrs long! Nurses in the surgery room were constantly calling me every hour to give me an update on how everything was going ! You can imagine as a parent how anxious you feel, so they made sure to constantly update you!Recovery at the hospital!Jackson memorial hospital PICU, Transplant floor. JMH HAS the best of the best nurses, they treated my son like their own baby, very knowledgeable, and heartwarming. NICU please I need your help please help my mother she sick we dont have money for her treatment

I was skeptical about coming to this hospital at first because it’s part of Jackson health system and I didn’t have a good experience in Jackson hospital for my husband. But Oh was I wrong. This hospital exceeded my expectations. Everyone from the check in process to the vital signs all the way to nurses and phlebotomist were really amazing they made me and my daughter feel so comfortable and at ease. The Doctors were caring and sensitive to my daughters needs. Whatever I asked for they did it. As a first time mom I am super nervous and worried about everything. My daughter had unexplained high fevers. chest x rays, covid testing, blood work and urine tests were all performed. Even with suspicion of my daughter testing positive for COVID19 I Expected nurses to limit the amount of times they’d enter the room but that did not stop them they came in regularly to check vitals and temp. Thank you for literally going above and beyond and answering all my questions and having me leave the hospital at ease and less worried.1 day prior my daughter was seen in Nicklaus children’s hospital and I was not happy with the visit that is why I came to Holtz and I’m so happy I did. I will definitely be coming here for all my daughters emergencies. Thank you to your wonderful staff

WORST HOSPITAL EVER! I’m here just bc of neurosurgery! My neurosurgeon is the best and has the best medical ethic! But nurses have no idea about how to treat a patient, how to make them have a good experience! Patients here are just more about number than anything else! I prefer to die than to have to come here again

Came here for a program today and really enjoyed myself.The kids are adorable and sweet. The staff is super nice as well and are so involved.Ive never been to this hospital but the rooms are nice and spacious. Most importantly it was clean. Im sure you all are thinking well its a hospital so it should be. However, youd be surprised.Overall I think this is a great home away from home for the children and their families to be comfortable for the duration of their stay.

ALLLLLL the people crossed at the Holtz hospital have been amazing. I broke waters early and was nervous...but all the nurses, doctors, residents...have been amazing. Across maternity and NICU... I feel so lucky and happy that all the people are so professional but also warm and close. I have no enough words to describe it. I want to do a special comment for the specialist in lactation at NICU, she is too adorable, sweet and understanding, as well as professional and qualified. But again, each person I crossed. My delivery has been an amazing experience because of all of them., Thanks again

We were in and out of the children’s ED in less than two hours and all the physicians and nurses were outstanding. Extremely wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Holtz Children’s ED and hospital to anyone in the Miami area with children.

I am so thankful for the doctors, nurses and all the staff. I have been here for 10 days with my daughter. And everything has been superb!! From the attention, doctors finding ways to heal her, the food and the cleanliness, has been nothing short of excellent. There is a reason Franklin D. Roosevelt came to this hospital to be treated. People fly from all over the world to come here. Thank u Jesus for guiding the doctors that healed my baby.

Our son was born February 14 on Valentine’s Day, the team in NICU A and NICU B were excellent with the recovery of our son, you have our endless gratitude, to all the personnel in this hospital.

I just gave birth here at Holtz childrens hospital.the staff here has been pleasant doctors,nurses,CNA,also EVS supervisor Tamika i met her she was very pleasant and supplied what i needed i highly recommend you guys outstanding work staff and hospital👍

My son was rushed to this location(best in Miami.Everyone there was excellent.Angels from sent from heaven to help and save my sons life.He was non responsive for a while and his blood level was going to the lowest of it all.The team that was there did everything to assist my child in gaining his health back.I thank everyone in the emergency unit for not giving up in helping my baby boy.I want to give a huge thank you for the nurses in PICU.You all did great caring for my boy.Special thanks to Lysette and Gina.My son was most calm and loving with you too.You two ladies are God giving and jewels to that department.There was another nurse that gave my son a little basketball toy(I didnt get her name) but thank you!He is full of life playing with that all day.😁😁😁Jackson truly have some of the best Dr.s and nurses!Keep doing what you and love what you do.It will make your job easier and it will save lives like you all assisted on saving my sons life on Tuesday 4-17-19.Thank you again!I

My baby was born here, my wife & I experience was excellent since the very beginning. The prenatal course, the labor, and NICU (Nurse Intensive care Unit) was excellent. These nurse take care of your baby as their own.We want to thank our very special nurse Sharon, she was next to us all the time.

I have taken my kids to Holtz/Jackson Pediatric ED a few times and have left impressed each time. Thanks for doing such a great job for our community’s children!

Everyone was nice to my son. We received quick service. In less than 30 mins they glued my sons wound and we were out!

This hospital is good overall. I have been here 3 times and the service is fine. The only downside is that they take long time to assist you even if you are in real pain. I think it is all the paperwork they have to do.

Quite a low quality hospital, aging machines first ultra sound malfunction multiple times, tv in the room broken and could not be turned off had to unplug it. Now to my main complain, this hospital is more of a jail than anything else and they treat patient and family members like inmates my wife needed an epidural since the pain of her contractions were a lot for her which they said would take 20 minutes and asked us to wait in the wait room now they gave no direction on where to go , we found an unlabeled room near my wifes room in which we proceeded to wait, about 30 minutes later a nurse comes in and kicks us out saying that it was a conference room and we need to get out,it not being labeled with old stained furniture no tables and a tv we were not there for fun or conveniece we just thought that was the room after the nurse rudely informed us of that we went back to the room the check if the procedure was done we then were told that it would now take 30 minutes... At which point the same rude nurse came and started telling us to get out and to go to the waiting area with a sarcastic a vile grin on her face at which point i had seen how they treat people here and i can tell you im not a fan the procedure then took an extra hour in which we were not even able to approach the room and were told to just sit and wait and we would be called. I dont know if this is procedure in every hospital but i certainly would not recommend this hospital to anybody they just turned the sweet affair of my first born son coming to the world into something i would do in some other hospital really should have looked at other options. terrible bed side manner. Made us sign papers w.o being able to read them. Just terrible i would definitely try my luck else were.....

I brought my child in last night and was not there even an hour. As soon as we got there they took us in and the nurses and doctors saw him. Everyone is super professional and so nice. My toddler doesnt like the doctor but was so comfortable with everyone and let them check him. Defenitely recommend this hospital!!!

Even hirer management dont care about how patients/families are treated! COMMUNICATION IS KEY!Skilled doctors, surgeons and staff. However communication between parents of pts. & staff and between staff members was abysmal. Updates were incomplete, confusing or wrong; which was very upsetting to parents. Cannot stress enough how much hospital staff needs to communicate with each other in order to communicate with pt’s. loved-ones.

This place is outrageous! So disorganized! Rude!! No one seems to know anything at this hospital . My son was there for surgury... Told us to be there at 7 am.. Waited for 4 and a half hours before even going back . To much back and forth.. Nurses all seem confused. First and last time coming here . And security is a HUGE issue..

Went to their E.R and boy do I regret it. My son has pain to where he cant walk and If water touches his skin in certain areas its excruciating pain. He couldnt walk yesterday too well without pain... Got tired of going to NCH because they finally said they didnt know,so I hoped to go and get answers. Big mistake! The nurses were nice, the doctors were ugh... They listened, but not fully and they came in and out maybe 4-5 times and said they would be back to let us know what they found... Didnt happened, about 40 minutes later the nurse came in and said heres your discharge papers... Im like what?! She said they didnt know and she guess they didnt come back in to tell me, they must have forgot... I was upset, horrible,horrible, horrible. I will never waste my time or $7 for 2hr 40min. parking, Ill just drag back to NCH where parking is free, at least they eventually after several visits said they honestly didnt know. Save your time and go elsewhere. I wish I listened to the reviews, but my neighbor insisted they always did more to find the cause...Yeah, not in this day and age. The 3 stars are solely for the nurses and Secretary,they were 5 star, but since its grouped with the 0 stars for the MDs, this is fair.

Im supposed to give birth here and Im already dreading it. I came in BC of gestational diabetes and needing some monitoring...everyone seems lost, no one tells you anything, there was a shift change so that made the staff even more lost on what they needed to do for me, it takes forever to get anything done and the worst part is that they feel its OK to leave you in the dark... Wouldve been nice to know of shift change or what I was waiting for next or at the very least if the nurse would know adjust the recliner for me to get up to pee instead of me almost falling over trying to wiggle up out of it considering Im 37 wks and have a very large belly. Ridiculous.

Its scary the amount of medical malpractice and negligence that happens at this hospital. Apparently HIPPA laws and whats best for the patient mean nothing to them. If you want to be told lies, have to teach your medical team how to do the procedures they should KNOW how to do, and be gossiped about by staff members, all while being threatened to have the police called on YOU, then this is your hospital to go to.

The special and helpful nurses/Doctors ln Jackson Memorial hospital who were treating my wife are Tilley, Mercia, Liana, Dr Erica and Dr Michelle. They are so sweet and know how to take care thier patients. Whatever you ask them, you get it in a minute.

Horrible cleanliness, unprofessional staff, unwillingness to use evidence based medicine for rare disease, multiple complaints from many different families and not nationally ranked in Neonatology or gastroenterology. Would not recommend.

The staff are nice, some are more sensible than others. We were told we will admitted 5 hours ago, its almost 6 am and they still didnt transfer us to a room, being not able to sleep in a cold noisy uncomfortable bed, not to mention the dirty bathroom. I told them Im pregnant and they see i have a sick baby. I feel like we are held at custody, I cant describe how irritated and upset I am. I would have given them more stars if there was better communication between the staff and the transfer members. I just want to understand why it would take them a whole night to bring someone to take us to a room where we can get some rest. Why cant they do better arrangements. I spent my time here crying.

It is unheard of that in a pediatric hospital the delay seems to be that of any third world country, with so many children, taking hours without being treated, a pediatrician for all of them, how is it possible? A hospital of such magnitude must have much more presence of doctors, it is extremely cruel that my little girl with only 2 years old and a laryngitis of days, with poor evolution, has to go through this wear, when one is supposed to bring them for a efficient care.

Excellent service from the staff of the night shift on 09/08/21 of the 4th floor, I had a complicated labor at the last minute and all the staff were attentive to save my son, we did not have time to thank everyone as we should doctors and nurses that night, especially my nurse great experience and love in her work 🙏God pour blessings on everyone, thank you very much 👏👏👏👏

Horrible service when you go to an emergency room is what emergency means. I arrived with my 5-month-old baby, nobody received me, it took about 25 minutes to verify my baby, in addition to the laughter that the nurses had, without any concern for my baby. When they manage to verify it, after 10 minutes they move me to a filthy little dirty room, at no time did they verify it with love, I have NEVER lived through such a bad experience in a United States Hospital.Please urge your children to be taken to another emergency room.(Hipa does not have a law) listen to a nurse laugh about a situation that came after me, because the boy had swollen parts. Waooo no professionalism.Horrible Horrible in every way.

Today Saturday, June 22, 2019, I had the worst experience I could have spent in a holpital of greasy children to an unhappy guy named patrick Beltrif or something like that, the most disgusting and arrogant person that could be working in a childrens hospital. I treat my 3-year-old son as if he were a little animal and he was horribly horrified that even his arm left him red from the pulls he gave him just to let him take the temperature and when I told him to be a little more careful he shouted at me and He said Im being careful. I complained to the person in charge, but if they have the opportunity to go to another childrens hospital, I would like to thank them for being the first person to frighten their children horribly before the medical personnel look at them. With the doctors and nurses everything went well but with this man who is the one who takes the bitals is horrible if he does not like to hear children cries that balla to work with unhappy adults bitter and dog carra.
