I love this gym! The workouts are intense and worth every minute. It’s wonderful that it’s only 45 minutes and gets you in and out dripping sweat. The coaches have been encouraging and continue to help with form and technique every class. I have never been to a class that didn’t make me work hard. I want everyone to join Thump Gym and Fitness they won’t let you down.

Absolutely LOVE this gym! It is clean and the staff, trainers, and owner are all wonderful! I love working out here and always feel comfortable. Its not a giant chain gym, which is exactly what I love about it. Theres a unique neighborhood feel to Thump, and all of the patrons are friendly and welcoming. I 100% would recommend this gym to anyone!

This place is fantastic! I have been going for years and have always gotten a great workout. They recently changed locations, which was a great move. Thump offers personal training, group workouts, and even customized self guided training. Super clean and helpful staff. They provide a 3 day free trial to check the place out! It is definitely recommended.

Amazing kickboxing class and instructors. Each instructor is so welcoming and patient. They each take their time to teach technique to all new members. LOVE this gym. Membership cost is a bit pricey :/

I started going to Thump in April of 2016. I was had recently lost a lot weight by changing my eating habits, but was weak and in dire need of exercise in order to continue on my path to better health. I have to admit that I was scared of joining a gym and nervous that I would be intimidated. That was not the case. I immediately felt like part of a community at Thump. Everyone was helpful and extremely supportive. I honestly believe my experience at Thump changed my life. I now enjoy exercise. I look forward to going there and getting my workout done in a peaceful, encouraging environment. The trainers and staff at Thump advise and coach me about exercise and technique. They critique my technique, when need be, but also encourage my efforts. They boost my moral and affirm that my goals can be accomplished through hard work. I am a better person because I choose to work out there.

Use care. The gym closed during a long transition. Opened in a sketchy,makeshift gym on the roof of a parking garage with garage doors open into a basic free weight gym. The doors were open for humidity , heat,mosquitoes ,no showers , treadmills,ellipticals or weight machines. Steve assured me he would apply a refund ..spoke to Barbara She stated several times she would talk to Steve and get back to me. Apparently the new gym opened 2 dayS before my membership expirred..was completely bewildered they finally opened the new gym and didnt notify me by phone,text or email ..when I finally figured out they reopened I went by to find out what was going on & address the refund Steve assured me in November would be put in place .. regardless of the many conversations with Barbara and Steve regarding this topic. I was assured Steve would be At the gym that Thursday at 0700 I got there at 0800. Barbara was there and claimed she told me there would be no refund and she told me she informed me of that already. Which she had not ..Clearly Steve wasnt there yet and Barbara told me I had to talk to him. There is no reception area(which I feel is essential) so I quietly and patiently waited sitting on the floor until Steve arrived. He flat out told me I would not be given a refund even tho he told me already I would have been refunded.. he stated my trainer ageeed to train his clients there. I objected on the grounds I dont care what the trainer agreed to my contract is with thump gym. That contract clearly states they must provide comparable amenities Steve kept telling me I had to contact the billing company and I kept stating my contract was not with trainer or billing company but was with Steve and thump gym. Steve said he would look into it after telling me several times he wont refund meI returned the next day to follow up on status of refund. Steve was not happy to see me, claimed I made a big scene the day before (I never even raised my voice). He told me I had to contact billing service and he was going to get mall security to escort me out. Then Steve left to get security to physically remove me from premisesI left and called billing service and they said they cant give refunds without thump gyms or Steves authorization. I explained the situation to the very nice woman. And she agreed to follow up. Later that day she said thump gym would extend my membership til 3/1/2020. That very day Steve went to get security to remove me from the gym. I am absolutely terrified to even try to use the gym til 3/1/2020 for fear of being forcibly removed as previously statedIn response to gym comments why on earth did you not offer the extension in the first place...that would have been a viable solution...I can’t imagine I am the only yearly contract holder.. male member got a refund...the male gym owner went to mall security to remove me..a female...then after that you offered to extend my contract...the men in my life will not allow me to step foot into your gym after Steve went to mall security to have me forcibly removed ..this is all over basically $60. You must desperately need that $ ...and extending the contract in the first place would have cost you nothing I ask you...would you allow your mother, wife, daughter, niece or any female in your life....go back into a gym where the male gym owner had previously attempted to have that female forcibly removed over a valid dispute of what was a clear violation of your contract we both agreed to when I signed thatGlad you found people to offset my review .you know .you did in fact violate your own contract..with me. just hope ppl finally understand how fake positive reviews may be..they are often times from family, friends and fellow congregation who may never believe Steve went to mall security to have a woman forcibly removed because of a valid legit dispute over $60....hope your friends did not violate their own moral compassI am distraught to learn Steve is a worship leader....there are no words to express my distress how badly I was treated

I echo some of the other reviews regarding the staff. Its has a super friendly and welcoming staff. Doesnt feel anything like those chain experiences. Love it.

These Coaches are the real deal; they practice what they preach. By far the best & most intense workout of a life time. We were hooked after the first WOD. The silver lining is the staff....they are truly born to teach Crossfit!

Terrible customer service. Very expensive classes that are run very poorly. Gym is crowded with three people. There are a lot of better options around, this place is a waste or time. Staff is awful.

Great gym

It was close to my house so I decided to check out the place after work. I saw a few things I didnt like.First thing that caught my attention was how unwelcoming the instructors were. The first instructor (in glasses) that saw me walk in was on his cell phone. I stood near him to signal my presence and he seemed annoyed. He waved over another instructor to help me. As I walked over to the other instructor I greeted myself but was met by a blank stare like what do you want type of face. After I explained Id like to check out the gym he offered to show me around; he then basically walked me into the crossfit area (which looked small and cramped with little walking space between crossfitters) and just said this is the crossfit area ; he then referred me to someone else at the front desk to show me the rest of the general gym. This is in contrast to other gyms that take their time to show the facilities, especially when one is asked to pay over $100/month.The other negative was how I noticed crossfitters had to do their runs around the strip mall that the gym is located in. They had to run through one of the entrances of the strip mall where there was some traffic. I noticed several instances of cars pulling out of parking spots and runners had to quickly dodge them. Add to that the potholes and uneven pavement and it looked like an unsafe environment to run.Although this gym was the closest to my house it didnt take me long to realize I wouldnt be happy here.

You are not going to find Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, and Muay Thai anywhere else in this city for $125/month and no contract, except here. On top of that, the BJJ coaches are both Carlson Gracie/De La Riva Black Belts. The gym area is good, its rustic, its what a fight gym is supposed to look like. This is not one of those pretty poser gyms. As for crossfit, I am not trying to be the best at exercising...I am kidding, I have never done it, so I cannot vouch for it; however, if you are looking for a solid BJJ program and you live in the Pinecrest/Dadeland area, then look no further.

This gym is incredible its Big and it has a Large number of Activities for you to do.The crossfit program is great and the BJJ is also very good. However this gym is horribly over priced if you want to do crossfit and BJJ the prices are decent if you want one or the other but put together and its grossly over priced as I stated. They are also one of the few gyms Ive been to (crossfit or BJJ) that didnt offer discounts to Veterans which I found a bit odd.Good Gym good training Horrible pricing
