Techs were very professional. Doctor was her usual communicative, professional self.

Couldnt even give me proper instructions to get properly lab tested three days after my appointment. I asked the doctor how to go about scheduling my lab appointment during our very short appointment and she told me her assistant would reach out to me which she did not. I waited till the next day and called the office and they gave me the assistants number and told me to contact her which she obviously did not answer so I left a voicemail. I waited one more day and called her assistant again, no answer so I decided to call the office and was told that I had to reach out to quest for testing. My symptoms have not improved and Ive been vomiting for the past five days. The earliest lab appointment I can get is in September. Dont waste your time or money with Dr. Vernace and her staff.

Everything however COVID-19 precautions were excellent.

Dr. Vernace is the best. Ive had quite a few GI doctors over the years. She is by far the best one.

Today I had a great fortune of visiting Dr. Lederhandler’s office. With an urgent matter, they were able to get me in on the same day-luckily and every staff member was very attentive and friendly. The doctor took his time with me and listened to all my concerns and ailments. He took me in right away for a scan to rule out any emergency scenario. Craig in the CT dept was AMAZING! He made me feel at ease the entire time when I was really stressing out! I can’t say enough positive things about this doctor and all the staff here!

There are doctors and then theres Dr.Lederhandler who genuinely cares about each individual patient , and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Mark Lederhandler is very arrogant & rude. He does not know how to communicate with patients. He has no compassion & he mostly cares about numbers & not the well being of patients. Parking in his facility is horrible, it took me more than 15 minutes to find a handicap space. Few days ago after driving 1 hr to get to his facility & the staff acknowledging the parking issues, he then had a staff communicate to me that he will not see my elderly grandmother & that Id to see his assistance. Afterwards, I observed him several times walking down the hallway (keeping his neck stiff & didnt even smile once) which from the 15 mins I was waiting to be discharged, he was already done with several patients, one can only assume how much time he dedicated to his patients & clearly also that 5 mins he was going to spend with my grandmother would not have delay his schedule that much. I was called twice to confirm the appointment but not once did they mention/warn me about the chaos with parking. Im actually glad he dumped us on his PA Carol Hernandez & his nurse who does vitals are amazing! My grandmother whose normally apprehensive about healthcare professional love Carol just after 1 visit! I will not go back again because the parking issue is so time consuming & since Carol is his assistance I dont ever want to risk of possibly ever have Dr.. Lederhandler care for my grandmother. As my 83 yr old full of wisdom grandmother always says first impression counts & you can always spot a good soul miles away. I only wish that I read some of the other reviews from other websites which mentioned how arrogant he was. Amazing how completely different strangers can use the same exact word to describe him. Though he may have years of medical experience, I sure hope he register for a current class on customer service especially since his coaching many new healthcare providers.
