We are going through a scary time. Dr. Sussman is very professional, comforting, informative, and thorough. We have just established care with him, but I feel as though my son is in good hands.

I made an appointment with the Doctor one year ago. I was told that it would be in April 2020 to which I booked. Then because of COVID it was rescheduled twice. It was schedule finally for today, Sept. 3rd at 10amI got a text reminder that I needed to fill out all the paperwork and update my chart in the UHEALTH portal to which I complied. No one called or informed me as to where to go and where to park.I walked into the office where Dr. Sussman is located. There are two check in windows. One to the left and one to the right. There was a guy sitting behind the desk just staring at me. I said hello I need to check in. He put his finger up said she will help you over there, meaning the woman who was already checking someone in. So I waited. And then the woman said, OH MR HAUSER your already checked in, you just need to have a seat. It was 9:30am. At 10am I was called in. At first I thought, oh wow this is great, right now time........OH NO that is no where it ends. A nurse or assistant weighed me and took my blood pressure and then said, ok now you have to go back to the waiting room which was weird.I then went back to the waiting room and sat there for 40 min. I asked what is going on. The woman behind the desk went to go check and came back to tell me that Dr. Sussman is with another patient now and if you want, you can be seen by his student and It is going to take about 30-40 more minutes because he has two patients in front of you.Then she said if you want to re-schedule it would have to be for next year, that is the earliest we have available.I responded and said are you kidding me. To which the nurse who took my blood pressure came out and said Dr. Sussman usually starts late. I could not believe she said that to me. HE USUALLY STARTS LATE. I then said forget it. I was referred to this Doctor but I told them cancel my appointment, refund me my co-pay and I would not be coming back. It was ridiculous. I was in that office for almost two hours just to have my weight and blood pressure taken.That is NO WAY to treat someone. I know Dr. Sussman is busy, but guess what, so am I. My time is just as valuable as his is. For them to say, Dr. Sussman starts late, when he knows he has patients scheduled is so poor. Why would I want to re-schedule? and to have to wait until next year? You have got to be kidding me.For anyone that schedules as a new patient....make sure to call ahead and see if the Doctor will actually see you and if they say YES, will he see you at your scheduled time (or even within an hour of your scheduled time) or is the Doctor starting late?Everyones time is valuable. Doctor, dentist, school teacher, stay at home Mom, etc. At least give your patients the heads up. NO one came to tell me anything. If I didnt ask, i would have sat there for another hour or more.Sorry but this is poor customer service. Would definitely not recommend!

Dr. Sussman is amazing. Hes funny, caring, and very educated. He took his time during my husbands appointment and listened to everything my husband had to say. Dr. Sussman is a gem in the medical field and we are very happy to have met him.
