Good Service!!!Mi son received ER service ( Dr García) monoclonal antibody!!! Super good service ♥️

Had surgery 8/30/21 & the staff was amazing. Its a very small but friendly environment. They take the necessary Covid-19 precautions and make sure youre comfortable at all times. My surgeon was Dr. Alvarez-Moreno. Today 9/5/21 I visited the ER for pains maybe due to the surgery and my nurse was America Guzman and she was a VERY VERY sweet lady. The world needs more nurses like her. I pray your encounter with this hospital is as good as mine. Thanks RN Guzman for your care.

Worst attention had a family bleeding from the leg and we had to wait. I do not like it how the front desk didn’t do much to help out they were being lazy and not helping out. We were waiting for a good ten minutes while the family member was bleeding from the leg. Not happy with this!

The medical attention is good, but Medical Records must improve and no delay delivering records when they are requested.

People at the emergency front desk are lazy and busy in their personal phones barely acknowledging people as they walk in. If you have a serious emergency I DO NOT SUGGEST coming HERE! I went to ER two days ago with abdominal pain and had great attention and experience. The nurses and doctors are all nice, good and professionals. The hospital has new owners, so don’t hesitate to give them the opportunity to help you.

Terrible Hospital very dirty and horrible food. No privacy for patients too many students visiting patients without patients concent . Very good surgeon and infectiologist, they saved my life so I am very appreciative for their service.

Im writing this review to help a expecting mom or someone who thinks they might be pregnant and is sick or something. My advice is to never touch foot into this hospital. Previous bad reviews on here are speaking the truth. I’m giving them a 1 star since I have no choice, otherwise I wouldn’t give them a single star review.Personal experience: I came to this hospital a year ago. It was around March (yes I waited this long to write about this place due to being busy ) I kept feeling bad and didn’t know what was happening so I went over to get myself checked out. I was told that I was 4 weeks pregnant and I just had a miscarriage and they couldn’t find no heart beat. The doctor told me to come back so they can take everything out in case infection may occur, the time he told me to come back didn’t seem right to me. I was supposed to be back to the hospital at 10pm the following day, which seem extremely odd, so then I followed my gut feeling and didn’t show up. I made an appointment to see a Obgyn. Let’s Fast forward to a month later, I decided to make an appointment, got to be seen by the Obgyn ,which turns out I was having a healthy baby. Sometimes I think about it at times and had I gone over that night he told me to go , They probably would of made me have an abortion without me knowing and lying to me. So yes this hospital is the worst in Miami (THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION). Ladies please seek help elsewhere.

This is the best hospital in which they have treated me, I have no complaints about the building and much less about the staff who have treated me, the care is super efficient, the work of the doctors and nurses my best references for this hospital

[Edited]The care is terrible. The facility itself is in terrible condition. Heres why:Not only is the parking lot a block away from the emergency room, the room itself is a cramped up place that looks to be as old as the CEO. Forced to look at the only channel with the same news for 2 hours is a sure fire way to ensure more patients on the psychiatrist aisle.About Care: we went there for acute SHOULDER pain, not only did they did not had a shoulder specialist on site but they DISMISSED everything we said and set the diagnosis as being Torticollis (this is neck pain. There was no acute neck pain mentioned only shoulder!). Overall, while the nurses and technicians were nice the doctor on site was extremely dismissive and, thinking he was out of earshot, claimed I was there for days off out of work. In this economy theres cheaper ways to have days off than by paying a hospital bill.Highly disappointed

This is one of my very favorite Hospital. Even though this hospital is far away from my home I prefer to come here even if it is an emergency. The hospital may be small but the quality and personnel are above excellent. I personally would recommend this hospital.

Omg the worst hospital I seen,,....never again....

Came in to the ER today for severe abdominal/pelvic pain and wasnt sure what to expect because it was my first time there. I would say my experience was mostly positive in that the staff were good about providing proper care and conducting the necessary tests. I was very appreciative of Dr. Jorge Garcias attentiveness and efforts to manage my pain and make me feel more comfortable. Yes, there was a bit of a wait, but there were quite a few patients so its not like the staff were just sitting around doing nothing... they were busy. The hospital itself is quite cramped and rundown... some renovations would probably work wonders, but most people dont go to the hospital for the aesthetics, so I cant really complain. Some of the other reviews seem to suggest that the majority of the staff being Hispanic/Latino was problematic. But thats the culture here in Miami, and ultimately a persons ability to provide quality care isnt dictated by their ethnicity. The only real criticism I have about the employees is that they were not very discreet when discussing patient information. Even though my Spanish is limited, I could still clearly comprehend that they were talking about a patients mental health issues. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the ER is so small and doesnt offer much privacy, so you can hear everything. And one little thing I thought was kind of odd was that no one ever took my temperature. All in all, Im satisfied with the care I received; I just wasnt very impressed with the actual facility itself.

Poor service waited with my niece for 3 hours and still didnt see a doctor

I am currently here right now for kidney stones and the nurses are really nice but Im about to transfer to another hospital because as soon as I got here I waited like 10-15 minutes they took my vitals and the person that was going to take my vitals was going to put the thermometer in my tongue without a cap had to stop him and tell him you need to cover that Ive been asking since last night the size of my stone and theyve been telling me the death of check the file my family came in today ask them if they told her right away so I mean I dont know if this is like horrible I so many other things

Waited 2.5 hrs for no diagnosis. They just sit around gossiping and making jokes all day it seems.

Went in for an out patient procedure and the staff was wonderful from beginning to end. The pre op nurse Brenda was nice and even called me the next day to make sure I was OK. The out patient staff and my nurse Ana attended to me I felt like I was the only patient. Dr.rich my wonderful or tho surgeon was on time I really enjoyed this hospital. Great service!

I was admitted here a couple of month ago for kidney stones. As you can imagine I was in so much pain when I walked in, the doctors and nurses from the ER were extremely nice and made me feel comfortable and that I was going to be ok. After that they took me in for observation and the nurses who took care of me were wonderful Ileana was checking on me every 30 min. Since I was in so much pain she found a specific medication that worked for my body. I was released a the day after but had to go back after 3 days but the stuff that took care of me was wonderful and remember my case and made me feel at home. Yes the building itself needs some updating BUT other then that It was a good experience.TOTALLY WILL RECOMMEND!!!

Although the treatment is ok, you will wait very long for any attention from doctors.

This hospital is one of the best hospitals I have been too. From being helped at the front desk to being seen in the ER at a rapid pace. The ER doctors are very nice and care deeply about their patients. I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

If I could give a medical institution negative stars I would. Showed up to ER on a mon night, no one else but i waiting to be seen. Took them well over an hr, at which point I just decided to suck up the pain and go back home. Dont come here.

I had surgery last week. The precedure was done on time, all the staff was very competent and charismatic. Rooms clean and comfortable. Overall, a very positive experience.

I went there with abdominal pain. I didnt wait to get into the ER. Before I knew it I was diagnosed with a bad gallbladder. Went to surgery right away. The staff on the floor were very caring, attentive and were fast in answering my call lights. I highly recommend the hospital.

If I could give this hospital a no star I would .Super scary place they had old people all over the place all over the hallways taking their blood not knowing what they were doing taking the needle out and poking them everywhere trying to get there blood .Let’s start by saying when I walked in I couldn’t believe what I was seeing with my eyes . the first room had an older man with blood all over he’s bed and side ways hitting himself on the bed and screaming and no one was doing a thing .Second the doctor I had that came to check on me was very touchy he couldn’t stop touching on meWas very uncomfortable.On top of that when I walked in they say go pee in a cup and when I did so they never checked it they just wanted to put an IV on so they could give me medicine without me knowing what I had or what was causing my pain .So I said no think you and I was ready to go .I recommend everyone who came here and had the same problem please speak upThis is sad and scary

At first was very nervous to have surgery at this location as I never heard of them. I stayed one day after surgery, I would like to thank the whole staff from registration day, surgery day, recuperation day, nurses, nurses assistance, dont know who else to mention, including the cleaning stuff. They have made an awesome stay. I felt I was in a resort getting myself pampered. Thank you all, you have made my stay very pleasant. I apologize for not getting everyones name. I highly recommend this place.

I rarely close to never write reviews but considering my experience here I had no choice but to. When I got there around 2-3am I handed my information (ID & insurance) and was admitted in quickly. I recently had surgery BBL liposuction and was about 6 days post op with a steady fever for the past 4 days, I took Tylenol earlier so my fever was able to go down but still concerned I went to the hospital as this could mean early signs of infection. The staff were not informative at all, being a nursing student I asked what kind of labs were being taken and the doctor could only answer me “tests to see why u have a fever” like obviously. There was nothing found and when I ask if having a fever after surgery was okay, and why did I have a fever? the nurse responds “ you didn’t have a fever in the hospital so we can’t help you”.My labs coming out clear I called a uber to leave and the doctors laugh at me for not being able to sit on my butt and having to lay in the uber. On top of it all I fly home to see a bill in my mailbox, when my insurance was given and covers my hospital visits. I call the hospital and a lady takes my info down and says they’ll call back, I never received a call and had to contact them again.. When I do get in contact with someone she says none of your information is in the system??? The process is still not over and now have to deal with my insurance and the hospital to resolve the billing situation.

Until now this is the best hospital I was in. The staff was super, they took good care of me during the 4 days of surgery I spent there in November 2014. There was a cuban nurse called Xiomara,she was like an angel. I will always remember the time I spent in this hospital. Dont change your good heart people! Love you.

Horrible service! I have left 5 messages for Dr. Enrique Casuso over the course of a week, and have yet to hear back from him. I contacted the nurses and administration with our concerns and their only reply was that the doctor is busy and they would leave a message. We are completely in dark about the condition of my grandmother and they couldnt care less.

My grandmother was brought to this Hospital to the Emergency Room. Right from the get-go she had been mistreated by a nurse clamining that she had been aggressive. My grandma wanted to go to the bathroom and they ignored her request so she tried to stand and they hold held her down.When we arrived no one gave accountability of what was her situation. The Doctor was there and tried to avoid talking to us even though we requested to speak with him. The only thing they would say is that she was misbehaving however, we never even accused them of anything. We just wanted to know what was her situation. Avoid this place if possible! It is one of the worse experiences we have had.

I am for ever grateful with the emergency response team that attended my mother, she literally was near death, but with the amazing team, from doctors and nurses, along with their professionalism and mannerism, she was very well taken care of. I am forever appreciative. Thank you to: Dr. Raval, to the nurses: Yahgen Borges, Maria Garnica, Nancy and Ana, Juan Manuel Dapera and my dear friend Edwin Quebedo. At 6 am I went to the ER at this hospital with a dislocated shoulder with maximum pain. not able to move my arm. the doctor came out groggy and had appeared to have been sleeping. he seemed upset that he had to be woken. He feels around my shoulder. calls for a x-ray.15 mins later the x-ray tech comes and wants me to palm up my hand while Im screaming in pain as he attempts to adjust my arm for the x-ray. he starts chuckling or laughing. In bewilderment I asked what are you laughing at. he says ,you dont want to know as if i should man up is what Im assuming he meant by that. but takes the x-ray.30 mins later the doctor comes and tells me apparently your shoulder is back in place asks if I wanted a shot ok , and gives me a sling ,tells me not to move it. meanwhile it cannot be put into words the amount of pain I was in with any slight movement of my arm. refers me to an orthopedist in hialeah(10 miles away) before I left I asked if he was sure it wasnt still dislocated. of course he said yes hes sure. I left without argument because my assumption was he must know what hes talking about and maybe extreme swelling was causing this pain and inability to move my armwell to cut this short I eventually got an appointment at 1:45pm with a orthopedist at Miami Orthopedics & sports medicine in Coral Gables later that day. they took x-rays of both shoulders to compare. still cannot move my arm and pain has gotten worse by this point 8 hours later. The Doctor walks in tells me my shoulder is dislocated(posterior). explains the x-rays , walks toward me grabs under my arm and pulls my shoulder back into place. I literally cried with tears of relief and joy. tells me I must be tough to be walking around that long with that dislocation. Not like I had a choice though. Good doctors like him are the true heroes of this planet imo. I thank him for (literally) pulling me out of hellI would think to most doctors a shoulder dislocation is obvious. While I understand the doctor at westchester general is not an Orthopedist and apparently cannot read x-rays properly. to discharge me like that when in hindsight it was obvious my shoulder was dislocated is just unreal to me

Do not come to this hospital.If you are admitted to Westchester hospital You will be undertreated and placed at great risk for either infection or injury. I have been in the ER since 11am for rule out meningitis. Swallowing my own saliva is excruciating.I was impressed with how quick they administered antibiotics, took an MRI and x-ray. However, when asked for pain medication (Tyanol) I was ignored. By 2pm I asked again and was given Tyanol. This helped with the fever but was not effective for the pain in my skull and spine. By 4pm I received 5ml of morphine. I am 6 1 and 180lbs, 5ml of morphine is going to do little. At 730pm, still in the ED, I begged the doctor for pain medication. I am humiliated but at least my neck and spine do not hurt as much.Be aware that the majority of the staff speak little to no English. Thankfully I am fluent in Spanish. My nurse speaks little English. He does not tell me what medications he gives me or what producers he is doing. That has been humiliating.It is nearly 9pm. I have not seen my doctor for nearly 4 hours. She said she would return to let me know what my plan of care will be. I do not know if I should leave or if I am under observation.This hospital is unsafe and will not treat you appropriately. I am beginning to think they are keeping me hear only to bill my insurance.

Terrible experience . Worst hospital ever . People in beds in the hallways . The men nurses only talking about there gym work out the night before. Super unprofessional. The doctor looked like he just got off raft . The nurses are rude and educated. A nasty ghetto hospital. Unsafe environment. Plus they hardly speak English. Also a patient was in a bed in their hallway screaming he had to defecate. Simply disgusting hospital.

Not even sure where to begin .... I show up to this Hospital with my boyfriend . We did not last not even an hour and a half in that hospital !! The over weight doctor with light eyes big gold chain who attended me was a horrible horrible individual!!! I could literally hear him from my room (#7) Saying and i quote you need to go see esa cosa en el cuarto 7 meaning you need to go see that Thing in room 7 to the other doctor who just had just arrived in crocs for their shift change!So my boyfriend who did not know at the time what room we were in told me I think the doctor is referring to us as the bashing continued , my boyfriend got up to check our room number and sure enough it was room #7. Furthermore it seems as if they are trying to milk the Insurance ! I went in for an ectopic pregnancy and gave them all the paper work they needed yet they felt the need to give me another pregnancy test and run other tests when the documents I provided them with stated IM PREGNANT!!! Not to mention this type of situation has taken a huge toll on me and my boyfriend! My boyfriend & I have been trying to conceive for 2 YEARS!!! now that it has happened we receive this bad news to then go to this hospital where they are careless they do not care about the feelings of their patients or wellbeing !

The worst experience of my life. Everything is so confusing and there is not specific signs to guide you. Entrance is at one point, registration is on the other side of the building and the the waiting room was so far. The Worst customer service, employees from the same hospital dont know anything. If Id had the half part of a star I d choose that one.

If i didnt have to give a star, i wouldnt. The ER staff in this hospital are dissapointing. SUPER unprofessional, rude and careless. I just witnessed the entire staff making fun of an African American man in front of his face in Spanish since he didnt understand. Theres people in beds all over the hallways, not being treated or even checked up on. The staff talk to you so unprofessional. Aside from the fact that English is clearly not their first language, they speak to you in Spanish very unprofessional and do not care how you feel. The MD on call, Dr.Breedlove, has an attitude problem and is very rude when talking to you. Im Hispanic, like they all are here (apparently) but theres a time and place for their behavior and a hospital ER is not one. Especially while youre at work. Worst experience in a hospital, ever. Avoid coming here if you can.

Hoy 06/23/2016I just had my knee surgery with doctor Jeffrey Rich and I want to thank him and the hospital for providing excellent care because they work toward a tem goal including the doctors, nurses, office workers, patient transporters, securities, bus drivers, cleaning people, food prepares, everybody that works there, I felt like i was home and it was so nice to be around respecful and caring people.I was blessed for being there.I hope Jehovah bless you all!

Horrible experience, my mother came out worse than when she came in. All they where interested in was sucking as much money out of the insurance as possible. No wonder the cost of health insurance is so high.

I want to start off saying that Im very disappointed with Dr. Enrique Casuso of psychiatry. Ive never experienced a Dr. so irresponsible in my adult life. Im aware that Dr.s have more than one patient to take care of, but between myself, my husband we have left him 6 messages in a course of the week. My mother was admitted on 8/03/17 for a UTI and on Monday I was informed from her nurse Oliva from the 3rd floor which was very pleasant, a good caring nurse & informative about mom, she asked me if I was aware that mom was being transferred to the psychiatric unit, & if the last nurse on shift had informed me. I told her I was not aware, I was not informed from the last shift. The reason being for her transfer was that mom was very anxious.Mom was admitted on Monday to the psychiatric unit. I want to say that the nurses on staff were limited to give me information since the Dr. is the one that I needed to speak with, which is very understandable I had no problem with them. Till today 8/10/17 Dr. Enrique Casuso has not given me my mothers psychiatric condition, if he has changed any medication for her or if she needed any medication dosage changed nothing has been communicated to me by him. He has not been in touch with me though several messages have been left to him . Im aware only of her UTI condition by the nurse on shift, so mom has been in this unit for 4 days now and Im still in the dark. I have high respect for Dr.s & nurses which In my family Im proud to say there are neurologist, neurosurgeons, pediatrician & nurses and are very devoted and caring to there patients as it should be . So I know a Dr.s job is not an easy one. What I do not except of any Dr. is to be irresponsible to not communicate with a family member about the status of there sick family member. I pray and hope that know one ever has to experience this poor service my family has had to go through. I will still have respect and admiration for the Dr.s & nurses that do the best they can for there patients with dedication and respect. I believe Ive said Enough .

The nurse was giving our relative a very difficult time. Our relative was expressing his concern regarding the medication causing him some itchiness. The nurse over and over again continued to brush off our concerns and then asked us to pause our conversation to handle an emergency. The nurses name isMaria Garnica (she was working the night shift today 7.12.16).We left and called 30 minutes later to see if they provided our relative with the meds and spoke with supervisor Panama who also lied to us that the meds were given when we called. Also Secretary Morales lied. Our relative informed us they had not. Why lie? Unprofessional.

If I could give a 0 I would. This place is a joke! Bad service, disrespectful staff, all them mother fu**ers seem to care about is winning the powerball. By far the worse hospital ever! I bet most people rating it a 5 work there! Incompetent, dirty, loud, and straight up disrespectful.

Before coming here I went to an Miami urgent care, since I was throwing up a lot,I was there all morning and after all the medication I got, when I was almost ready to go, the throwing up continue.. And I had some pain in my abdomen.So the doctor said that could be apendicitis and that they didnt had the equipment to scan meSo he told me to go to the ER and he suggested this hospital, he even called his doctor friend for him to see me fasterSo I went, I had to wait more than 1/2 for someone to see me, I continue throwing up, so pne of the nurse saw me and walked meIn to their ERI was there for over 3 1/2hrs, The medical student and nurse came after 15 minutes of my arrival to see me, asked me questions about my symptoms and told me the doctor will be right with youWell... 1 1/2 hrs later the doctor came in, asked me a few questions, touched my abdomen and as he said hmm ok, Ill be right back, a little over 2 hours later he came, you can go now, just rest.So... No scan? Thats why I came, and what your friend doctor said.No needSo I left,6 weeks later, 2 bills, (yes I have insurance, and yes I also have to pay this)WGM Emergency Room $2425Physicians Services. The Doctors at this Hospital are professional, clean and compassionate thank you....I was in the ER few days ago with hypertension, this hospital is still in my opinion smaller is better and the employees are professional thank you hashem for this hospital continue to bless. This is the most incompetent facility I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I spoke with a woman trying to find out after being advised by a local nursing home that my brother was discharged to Westchester Hospital due to his post traumatic brain injury. First, she wouldnt tell me if he was a patient but obvsiously he was since I wasnt on the list of people to know where he is. Our mother is dead and I am the only living relative other than a cousin who resides in the same state. I asked repetedly who could I get this permission from as clearly my brother would not have the mental capacity to answer this question and she was the rudest and most beligerent person I have ever spoken to. I guess when he dies, they will find my paperwork.

I was in Miami on business travel and had to visit the Westchester General Hospital ER for complications with kidney stones. The attending physician did not take my temperature, did not fully document my current medication list and accused me of drug seeking behavior. I explained that I have a history of kidney stones but they have not been an issue for several months and this instance was essentially a flare up. The doctor ignored me and was very rude. I would never voluntarily visit this hospital again.
