My experience was amazing. Ive had a debilitating phobia of the dentist my whole life and was absolutely terrifyied. However the Dr. made me totally and completely safe and comfortable and now has changed my perception of the dentist in general.Thank you comfort Dental!

Horrible service the receptionist was beyond rude and unprofessional. I came 30 mins away for their service and they failed to tell me that the doctor was out sick. When i went to reschedule she literally took a call and instead of putting then on a quick hold she continues to talk to them n help them first im beyond words for that lady. Never going back to this location!

Bro I literally have never felt so amazing after an appointment!My old dentist place was nice and all but when they would numb me I’d still feel everything. I have went there all my life so now I have this fear of dentists. However when I came here for the first time a few weeks ago, I felt so comfortable and the long haired guy with sick tattoos chit chatted with me the whole time. It was great.I came back today for fillings with so much fear in my body. But after numbing me I felt nothing, the only discomfort I felt was the cold air from the suckie thing and the water. Overall amazing place with amazing staff and they are so gentle.I understand 💯 and why they’re called Comfort Dental!

In 2013 I went there because I was told they were affordable (and I lacked insurance and a job). I wanted the two teeth pulled but the doctor insisted youll want those teeth and proposed root canals on both. During the procedure, literally with me in the chair I was asked to sign two waivers acknowledging that, while the dentist was a dentist, he was not certified in the procedure of root canals and I forfeit any liability. I found this odd but signed. He charged $2400 for two root canals, a cleaning and a filling. When I told him I could pay all at once he cracked oh, maybe I should have charged you more.About 4 months later in a movie theater both teeth broke while eating red vines. I called the next day and was told I was supposed to get crowns put on. I had no idea, a follow up visit was never scheduled. Was never called and told I needed to come back. Nothing.The last 7 years these two teeth have broke off like calving glaciers, both are broken now below the gum line. Intermittently they have caused great pain as they occasionally have become infected.While I could have certainly been more proactive in my own treatment, and its not Comfort Dentals fault that I loathe the dentist and procrastinated for 7 years before fixing these teeth... I will, until I exit this mortal coil, carry a healthy amount of disdain for the place and the doctor who treated me.

Friendly and painless highly recommended

My first review “Great Dentist! Friendly staff!” A year ago after getting a crown. Since then crown has come off twice and new dentist office refuses to re attach it as its shaped incorrectly and the foundation its on is unacceptable. I made new appointment with office to speak with dentist about repairing and then the dentist Stoor didn’t show up to the office for my 7:30 am appointment. I was told when I showed up so early “ didn’t you get our message”? No I never got a call. Sadly I was sent to another office for someone else to help me an hour later I had to leave with no help. Sat in new comfort dental office waiting again. I will avoid comfort dental at all costs. I will have to pay for another crown so I will do it at a more reputable dentist office and company.

Root canal they did was barbaric, most painful in my life.. They used a blow torch and piece of metal to cauterize the nerve and never capped it.. it is now it is infected. Told me I had 22 cavities and that I needed a tooth pulled, not true. Fillings done have chipped and fallen out, and are miscolored within months of getting them. Their response was now you know nothing lasts foreverDr. StoorDr. StanleyDr. Michael (i believe)All terribleDr. Stor is the one who gave the diagnosis and initial fillingsDr. Stanley missed a gap in a filling and even redid a filling w no anestheticDr. Michael did the root canal that is infected and a filling on my molar that is cut so close to the nerve it needs a root canal.DO NOT GO HEREMy personal reccomendation is check for anywhere with 4 star reviews by hundreds of people. If you are within 2 years you can get a refund.I tried but the Dr. Michael refused because I was outside of 2yr plan. Wouldnt even consider seeing me for himself before making decision.Again. I went there with no money in my pocket and they help me with my insurance to pay for the cost. I get a wisdom teeth pulled out and also root canal done. The doctor called me the next day to check on me. I was having dry-suck problem, cause by the healing process after my Wisdom teeth been pulled, I went over there and the Rennaker/doctor put a medicine in it and it heal fast. I drove 1 hour 10 minutes every-timeout go there. Awesome people I like them, they’re all friendly, even when I’m late they’re nice to me and my kids.

2nd time being there but everyone was so sweet and made you feel comfortable and usually I get so anxious at the dentist office but not this time. The doctor was so sweet I was scared during my tooth extraction but he and the dental assistant made me laugh to help bring my nerves down. I will definitely be coming back to this place when I need to.

I seen Dr. PhillipsAMAZING so compassionate and kind. I will NEVER go to another dentist again.Im looking forward to bringing my children and husband here. Not happy at all. I have been a patient there for 4-5 years. I broke a tooth on Saturday and Monday was Christmas Eve. I called Comfort Dental and they told me it was care dare where they offer free dental care. Which thank you for giving to the community. But your existing patients matter too. I was originally told they could get me in on Thursday 12/27 but they would have a dentist or hygienist call me back to assist me as my tooth was now jagged and really bothering my tongue. Several hours later no phone call, I had to call them back and then they said they could not get me an appointment until after the first of the year. I again asked what do I do as the tooth is really hurting my tongue, I was told go to the emergency room. I will never go back to this location again. Terrible horrible front desk staff who dont care about their existing patients.

This place is amazing!Dr stoore made my Root Canal feel like a walk in the park. I Was afraid of being in pain or something going wrong, but I experienced the exact opposite. The hardest part of the entire Root canal was the injection, and I barely felt it, because of the numbing gel they gave me before hand.The doctor and dental assistants make it feel more like a check up than an actual dental procedure. They constantly reassured me, explained what they were doing, and were very patient with me. The Dr. lighten the mood and made me feel absolutely comfortable the entire time.I honestly feel like going anywhere else would have been a big mistake. A big thank you to the entire comfort dental staff!

Dr. Phillips is amazing! I have had a hard time with going to the dentist out of fear. He calmed me down and explained everything to me. The prices for my implants and teeth taken out was a blessing. He was so good at taking the teeth out I did not even know it would be that easy. This is a gem and will only go here from now on.

Do they have $19 appt including x-rays? Yes. Will they give you good and honest service? NO.Beware of this place!When we lost our dental insurance, we went here for my son’s toothache. The dentist wanted to pull an (adult) canine tooth for $400 saying it had a cavity in the root. Strange, considering he had been having regular cleanings & checkups until 2 months ago—you’d think his regular dentist would have said something. We sought a 2nd opinion our regular dentist and learned that he had a chipped filling—cheap & easy fix. Even the antibiotic the dentist prescribed was unnecessary.This is incompetence or dishonesty. Either is unacceptable.

I would not recommend this place to ANYONE!! I only went to this place because they’re open late and I couldn’t take Time off work at the time. I won’t make that mistake ever again!!Dental work is extremely expensive no matter where you go but if you have to get your mouth reworked because your previous dentist didn’t do it right, then there goes even more money insurance isn’t going to cover replacements if the time limit is not met.Michael Stoor’s office on Lindsay and brown in Mesa did my crown on 2/25/17. They have students that are learning work in this office and although I think it’s great they’re hands on learning, they shouldn’t be unattended while preparing mold for a crown that cost over 1000.00 each.I’m no dental expert but from what my new dentist told me today, the crowns were not shaped correctly. My left one keeps popping off, and my right side has hardly any space between my teeth which made my gums super angry. So today is 6/14/18, one year and four months later, I am needing to get both new crowns!!I can only be grateful that the root canals were done beautifully (probably because they didn’t leave this up to the students). There is nothing I can do except eat the money already spent, write this review, and file a complaint with my insurance.

Came here cause I had a tooth fall apart and they could get me in the day it happened. Stoore did the extraction and the lady that assisted him didnt know the name of the tools so he kept having to stop and explain and describe what they were so she could get them for him. At this point I was already numb and the procedure was started otherwise I would have left cause how uncomfortable I was. After this he wanted a follow up in a couple weeks where he checked how it was healing and then took x rays and did a work up of what else I needed done. After the x rays he wanted me back again for the third time to make a plan and go over cost and payment options then he seemed upset cause I didnt have time that visit to have any work done cause I was told it would be a quick visit. Felt very pressured to have the work done right away which was just annoying. I told him I work two jobs and I dont have time to keep coming in so often then he started to speak sarcastically to me and became very short with everything that he said. He also wanted to pull my bottom wisdom teeth even though they arent cutting, hurting, or any kind of issue with them but my top left one is through and rubbing my cheek and he says nothing about pulling that one thats beginning to be an issue. Its like he just wanted to see how much money he could get me to spend and how much of my time he could waste. Its no wonder why this place seems to charge less than others when theyre as unprofessional as they were with me. Will not be returning Id rather pay more money elsewhere than to be pressured into doing something I dont need done and to be talked to and treated poorly by someone like that.

Disappointing. Office says theyre open till 7:30 came in quarter after 7 on Feb 6, 2018....and was told they can make an appointment or come in in the morning. I have a massive tooth infection so apparently I guess they need to change their hours on the door. I know its inconvenient for them coming in soon to clise...but what is it supposed to be for me, the patient? Sad when dentist office have this level of compassion I never even got to the point where they ask about insurance or money or anything! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am not sure why people are saying this is a bad place. I have never been treated so well. The staff is very nice and the office runs on time if not early. I have to have a lot of work done and I am not going to go any where else. Thank you to Dr.Stoor , you are an so sweet and understanding . I am a huge baby and you made me feel at ease!!!

Just had a terrible experience At comfort dental!! Had a small chip in my front tooth That had a Small white filling in it Which lasted 10 years. The dentist looked at my tooth and said you have a Crown on that tooth. Which was a complete lie because I know I only have 2 crowns in my mouth and there on my back teeth. They did an X-ray and admitted You do not have a Crown. Then I was floored the Dentist Said I could do a small white filling there but I wont I want you to get a Crown. I wonder why$$$. Walked out when across the parking lot to roush dentistry And they put a small white filling on that tooth good as new looks great for a $150. Please Beware of comfort dental.

Things started out fine. They explained the cost, procedures needed etc.Two failed root canals later.They explained the cost and procedures to fix what they did wrong.It was more than the original price.When I complained they more or less told me to go away and not come back.

I would not trust the five star reviews listed below. I went here because I was in excruciating pain. The dentist here was so impersonal as well as the staff. I paid them for a check up and they didnt even check my whole mouth, just the teeth that I said were in pain. A molar and a wisdom tooth, were infected and I was told they needed to be removed, with out any explanation. So I asked if there were any other options, and a staff member immediately got defensive, and basically told me,if you dont want the work done, then you can just find another dentist, needless to say I was insulted. I went through with the work, because I had already invested in a checkup, half ass as it was.A few days later I had the removal done, but the drugs they put me on worn off ten minutes after it was all done, they gave me a prescription that took an hour to fill. I was in unbelievable pain for almost three hours, I could not drive nor function, and had to be escorted by a family member, because I was in so much pain from the surgery I was actually crying. It was extremely embarrassing to wait and fill a prescription, while consumed by the madness of pain induced migraines.Do not bring your business here, Id rather see this place closed down.

Im only putting one star because I have to! DO NOT allow them to pull any teeth unless you get a second opinion, as a matter of fact DONT EVEN COME HERE! Dr. Milled pulled 2 teeth from my daughter saying she couldnt get braces without them KNOWING she had no adult teeth coming in. I thought he was doing the right thing but now Im seeing another dentist who was SHOCKED to see those teeth were pulled and now she will need veneers!!! I intend to take this to the highest level including a law suit of necessary.

Ive given this place more than enough times to make it right, and each time they fail. Ive been there about 4 times, and will never return. I keep thinking, maybe todays staff was off...no,theyre all off all the time.Unorganized staff didnt know why I was there. The dental hygienist took1.5 hrs to clean my teeth. Was very slow and inexperienced. And then there is the dentist Mike. Wants to do a ton of work on me every time, and never explains or seems to care. How are they still in businesses? 1 star because I cant give 0.

Staff treated me great! In and out in about an hour, removed top right wisdom tooth in about 40 seconds! Pain meds worked great, considering I dont handle pain, and I have dentist anxiety this was the best dentist visit I have experienced, fast professional! Xray, exam and tooth extraction $120.00!

I am very happy and grateful for the wonderful dental job that Dr. Stoor did for my mother. Everyone is very nice and professional at this practice. My mother is 65 years old and she loves Dr. Stoor! He was very kind, caring and took the time to explain everything like the options we had and gave us his best recommendations he even practiced his best spanish with my mom. Also, my mother doesnt have dental insurance and we got the discount gold plan for her and the prices are very affordable compared to the other dental places. My children like it here as well. I recommend this place to all my friends, family even my customers!..Thank you Dr. Stoor and team

Dr Stoore and all the staff have been wonderful. Dr Stoore took the time to address my issues and did a great job with my extraction. I had no pain afterwards. I was seen and taken care of a timely matter and treated respectfully. I have been to other dentists who dont want to give you the time of day. I will be using comfort dental from now on.

Dont not go here every single time I schedule an appointment at the doctors always calling out and leaving early. I got my wisdom tooth took it out and I would in severe pain and the doctor wont see me. I would have to go to the hospital for something to see you what is wrong with me same thing on country club they didnt take my appointment they just hung up on me and theyre very rude

Absolutley barbaric treatment of patients. Gave me a script for something they knew I am allergic to and wont even speak with me to rectify the situation. I wonder if I had an anyphalactic reaction if they would handle it then?

I am very upset after leaving today! Checked in an noon and was told I would get help today, I have a broken tooth half missing with exposed nerves I cant even open my mouth without being in excruciating pain! Got taken back almost right away but then sat in the chair for almost 2 1/2 hours until 2:20 when the doctor came in and told me I would have to come back another day because they were closing! Then made me pay for my visit! I am so mad, I am in so much pain, drove from San tan valley just to get it taken care of today and now have to wait till Monday! After my tooth is fixed I will never use comfort dental again! Most definitely will not be recommending!

All they want is money. They upsale everything even though people deny the service they wont just do what insurance covers they want to do extra stuff insurance doesnt cover it and once we told them we just want what the standard they SENT US HOME!, They also said we havent been to the dentist in 2 years when we go every 6 months, They are very money hungry and part of there job is to upsale as much as they can horrible service WILL NOT BE BACK!

I had a root canal done on June 14th and 3 weeks later went back for my permanent where i complained of pain to eating cold and hot. His assistant took x rays and told me it was cement in my teeth when he was removing and cleaning up my temporary crown. Dr came in didnt say a word about my x ray and put my crown on. then i go again August 8th to have them find out why im in more pain and called ahead and said i dont want to be billed and im not paying anymore money until u tell me whats wrong. so i go. and they bill my insurance. and he tells me some patients dont take to a root canal and might need surgery. So far from the truth. so September 4th comes and im in excruciating pain constantly now. I go to an endodontist of my choice and find out that my root canal was not done properly. it needed to be redone and because my insurance is now tapped out due to Dr i now have paid $1000.00 out of my pocket and find out he billed me for a filling i already had. So now my insurance has paid $1400.00 and ive paid $375.00 to him and now $1000.00 out of pocket for retreatment. I went to get my crown filled and find out its also not done properly so now I need to pay $1400.00 out of pocket for that. Im at $2800.00 out of pocket and my insurance is at $1400.00. This place is a joke and so is he. Very unprofessional when it comes to taking responsibility for mistakes. I couldnt eat for days or sleep. i was on pain pill and anitibiotics and lost wages from having to miss work to run around a deal with this. With no help from Comfort Dental. Please do not go here. His lack of concern has now cost me money and pain and put my family out.
