My first visit and everybody was so friendly and welcoming. They made me feel at ease. The gal at the front desk was very nice and once I got to the back the dental assistant, Colby, was so nice. I informed her how petrified I was and she said todays visit would not be so bad. It was just for x-rays and no harm no foul. I got through that okay and then the doctor came in. She was just as pleasant as everybody in the office. She gave me a referral for the oral surgeon. Once I go get my four teeth yanked out she wanted me to come back for a follow-up. I will definitely do that.

I came in here for a simple filling that I needed done on a tooth, they did a x-ray and exam all to to tell me that they couldn’t do nothing because I had braces… if I walked in there with braces why couldn’t they tell me that from the beginning and I wouldn’t of wasted my time and money because they STILL charged me $50.. the nurses were nice that’s all I can say about this place

I had an appointment with Dr. Fazeli and her WONDERFUL STAFF this morning and as a senior citizen, having been to at least 10 dentists at different locations over many years I KNOW there is not a better staff ANYWHERE in the USA. They have the kind of people skills that are extremely rare nowadays!!!Thank you to each of you!! When Tammy was finished cleaning my past due teeth she made it pain free with her special caring manner. You will not be disappointed if you schedule with them, even if a 20 plus mile drive as I did!

Tammy greeted me professionally and in a friendly way. Throughout my cleaning she provided information on what she was finding shared some cautions and in the end set me up for my next cleaning. I went to Sunwest dental for a teeth cleaning and check up. Dental office is clean and sanitary. I felt comfortable immediately upon arriving, staff is friendly and welcoming.Tammy did the most amazing job on cleaning my teeth. I keep up with regular cleanings and she was by far the most meticulous hygienist I’ve ever had!! My teeth felt so good I couldn’t believe it! I have a permanent retainer, so getting that area is always more difficult. She handled it like a pro - they are squeaky clean! Ting!Dr. Fazeli was so sweet, she did a through exam and I felt comfortable. She discuss my teeth in detail and I felt she really cared about my overall health.If you are looking for a a dentist come and check this place out! I am looking forward to my dental visits here! I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time which ended up in the result of me having lots of plaque build up, but thankfully with the cleanup I was given by Tammy it was a very easy and not so painful procedure to go through. I went there to get my teeth cleaned by their dental hygienist Tammy. She does an excellent job. I come from Milwaukee to go to her as nobody else even comes close. I cant stop looking at my teeth when I leave. LOL

I was very impressed by Southwest dental they have an amazing staff very friendly customer oriented everything was just nice they took the time it was very patient with my brother who was written and grinding his teeth making it impossible for us to barely get in there but they didnt lose patience they let you know took the time to work with him and even though he has to go to a facility to be sedated I was so impressed I have every intention when my insurance becomes effective I will go there myself theyre just that great very impressed first impressions mean everything and they really were top notch I give them 10 out of 10

I will never recommend this Dental office . I was TOLD and CHARGED 2 completely different things. They did admit it but the person who made these mistakes is still employed by them. Was apprehensive about it,still nevervous about just seeing a dentist,however when I got in the exsamenation room and out of the reception office, I felt very comfortable and come around rather quickly.

I had not been to a dentist in 10 years and the fear factor was great. Speaking of great, thats what my experience was. Staff was wonderful. No more fear.

After having a bad experience at another dental office, I found Sunwest Dental and they have exceeded my expectations. Everyone was pleasant and honest.

Ive been going there for a couple of years now and they are very friendly and professional and down to earth. I would highly recommend them. Tammy Upfront and as a hygienist is especially personable!

Such a wonderful dentist office! I am usually filled with anxiety when it comes to dentistry and everyone there made me feel super comfortable. They were very thorough and talked me through my entire visit, including answering every single question I asked. I have an extensive list of items to get worked on and they created a print out with pricing and priority for me. This made it so easy for me to choose what I will get done next. Im a teacher and were very conscious of that when scheduling my following visit. I feel heard and welcomed here with no judgement. I’m glad that if I have to go to the dentist that it’s this one! Very friendly staff and left feeling very satisfied.

I needed to get 2 teeth pulled today because I am in a lot of pain. I was told that my insurance doesnt cover the rinse and packing material and would be $320 out of pocket. Ive had extractions before and rinsing out the tooth has never cost me extra and Ive never been given packing material, Ive always just been given gauze and instructions on how to care for the extraction site. Ive never gotten my hopes up so bad. Im in so much pain and they mad me feel like Im just screwed. Very upset.

My experience at Sunwest Dental was unbelievable and life transforming in all the good ways that words can explain. First of all the staff was so good to me, and made me feel so comfortable like I was at home, they really listened to me. Because I suffered for years with dentures that were uncomfortable and made it painful for me to eat. The Dentist Cheyanne Fazeli, DMD. Really took the time to sit down with me and really listen to me as I explained the problems I was having. My situation is unique, Im a burn victim from the age of 6 months and they actually went out of their way and made me a custom fitting to make the impression for the size of my gums. I went in today to see the fitting and how my new dentures were going to look. And I tell you it was life transforming when I looked into the mirror, tears of joy streamed down my face. I couldnt believe how much better they looked and felt. I couldnt have ever imagined how perfect they were able to make them. They helped to change my life for the best it could be. I would recommend Sunwest Dental to anyone who I knew needed any kind of dental work. Or anyone who asked. They truly showed me that there are people out there who really care about their patients. Have been here twice now and never had to wait more than a minute. The staff is friendly and efficient. Last week I got teeth whitening molds, x-rays, exam, cleaning, and a minor filling and was out of there in an hour and a half. Also, they were very forthcoming with all the charges and I felt like they werent trying to rip me off. Dr. Ford and his staff are the best!

My first review was one star. And I left a very honest but negative review due to my negative experience. However I feel that it would only be fair to come back and update my review to three because they took measures to fix their mistake. My first experience I was left to wait an hour in the waiting room. My second experience I was pulled in the back after 10 minutes but then proceeded to wait in the dentist chair with my mouth numbed for 2 1/2+ hours. No one seem to care that I was sitting there for all that time. They just kept telling me that the dentist would be in shortly and that they have had some emergency procedures. To me it seems extremely ridiculous and inconsiderate that they couldn’t have just been honest with me and told me that they were Behind and needed to either reschedule or call me when they were ready. But they didn’t, they kept making me feel as if the doctor would be in soon which never happened. After being at the dentist’s office for almost 3 hours I lost it and got up and told the front desk receptionist that I was leaving. But Priscilla tried to keep me to stay by saying oh he’ll just hop right in he’s almost done. They told me that since four which was almost 3 hours earlier. I was so frustrated I asked for a refund because they wanted payment before anything was even done which was ridiculous. I basically walked out on them so frustrated and planning on finding a new dentist. But the next morning I got a call from the regional manager who overlooks Sunwest dental Mesa location and she tried to make it right and apologized on their behalf. Due to her reaching out to me I am going to be giving them another chance and hope that it will be a better experience. I do appreciate the fact that they did apologize and admit that that kind of client care is unacceptable. I do wish that the apology came from the dentist himself and the front desk ladies however this will have to do.

Needless to say I don’t like going to the dentist but they seem to make it less of a painful or bad experience then what it has to be. This place had terrible bed side manner, I felt judge the whole that I didnt have perfect sparkling white teeth they also mentioned I have cavities and mad eit sound terrible, wouldnt give me any details about my cavities. I didnt get them filled as I was moving and went in for another reason, when I moved I went to a different dentist only to be told that I had one little cavity. Sun West Dental also had no record of telling me I had a cavity. Poor service.UPDATE: They just reached out to me to talk about my experience, and to get more information so they could properly address, and prevent future bad experiences.

Dr. Cadwell did a great job putting my new crown back on. However, my one filling that was done by one of their other dentists at their Alma School location was very sensitive which Dr. Cadwell had to fix and one of my temporary crowns put in by a dental tech ended up cutting my tongue and made talking and chewing very difficult so I had to return to get that taken care of. Kind of wish it could all be done right the first time around.

All questions that I had were answered in depth and all of staff was beyond courteous.

I have never encountered a medical practice more unethical, unprofessional and devoid of all talent than what I encountered at Sunwest Dental.I came in to replace a front crown that had fallen out. I was told by their “dentist” that it fell out because the interior tooth was decaying as were the 3 teeth next to it. He literally said that I had to have all 4 of my front teeth completely pulled out or else “they would all fall out”. The quote for this with crowns to replace the teeth was 11k. They pressured me to do the work that day insisting no one would be cheaper but if I happened to find someone who gave a lower price quote, theyd match it. They however refused to put it in writing. Thankfully I insisted on getting a second opinion but did order and pay for a temporary tooth called a flipper, so I’d have something in the meantime. They would have gotten it to me same day had I agreed to do all the work with them, however since I was getting quotes, they said it would take a couple days to get it in.I received a second and third opinion and both agreed my other 3 teeth were perfectly fine, that in fact I didnt have a single cavity in my mouth. My teeth were in NO danger of falling out. I simply had an old crown that needed to be replaced. Out of curiosity I did quote the work Sunwest had tried to bilk $11,000 out of me for, this other office came in at just under $6,000. So much for being the cheapest…When I came back to pick up the flipper I brought my husband because they had made me so uncomfortable at the last visit, and I now knew what scammers they were. However, when they called me back they told him he had to stay in the waiting room only because, the room was too small. In reality the room enough standing room probably 10 people. I was then informed by the joke dentist that because I wasn’t doing the work with them, they wouldn’t be fitting the flipper for my mouth. I was given a stack of disclosures they wanted me to sign. I would have had no problems with the disclosures had they given them to be prior to me making my decision or giving them my money. I signed and initialed some but left things that hadn’t been disclosed to me blank. I was also taken aback to see in writing they stated that their recommendation had been for “cosmetic” purposes. There’s a big difference between cosmetic and your teeth are going to fall out. They threatened to kick me out without the tooth, without a refund if I didn’t sign. Eventually I initialed to be done, though I didn’t use my own initials. They weren’t sharp enough to catch it.The flipper didn’t fit in my mouth, though my new dentist was sweet enough to adjust it for me. However, I ended up after a few days buying a new one because it was poorly made. Not only did it look ridiculous it was uncomfortable and felt like it was going to snap out of my mouth. The replacement by my new dentist (no disclosures required) was a night and day difference in appearance and feel. I can understand now why they wanted all the disclosures. It’s clear to me that their lack of skill necessitates lying to patients to get as much money as they possibly can the first visit since they know they’ll never get another cent from them in the future. If you do good work, you don’t have to screw people. Pulling a bunch of perfectly good teeth out of someone’s face is beyond morally bankrupt and, in my book, qualifies as medical malpractice. I’m in process of filing formal complaints against them due to predatory and dangerous practices.
