They changed their staff in the last two years so my review is on thier current standing not former. They know how to handle SMI well and serve their function, but they do suffer from government apathy complex, with a lack of punctuality and commitment to follow through, but as any free system powered by insurance that is to be expected.

I’ve been at COPA Health, formerly Marc Community Resources for over 3 years in the Work Adjustment Training Program as the BH Program Coordinator and love it. I have a great management team and my staff is awesome. Enjoy working with them all and yes it can be challenging but what isn’t? I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Very poor rating, and would not recommend this program to anyone in regards to receiving services because of a particular Employment Specialist by the name of Christina White whos a very rude, and unprofessional person who shouldnt be an Employment Specialist to help people find jobs, if shes going to have a poor attitude problem. It all started when she visited my workplace, which I needed emotional support and guidance, and in the process of looking for a second job, while working at my current job, because I only work part time, and Christina has only met me once, and this was the second time we met at my work, and she first talked to my supervisor, and introduced herself to him, and telling her what she does. And then she talked to me after she got done speaking with my supervisor, and we talked briefly and I told her Id be transferring to another clinic in Peoria to get behavioral health service there, and she asked me why, and I explained to her about the poor service I was receiving from the clinic, in which I now no longer attend to the clinic, and then she asked me if I always act like this, and if I always talk like this, which is very odd coming from an employment specialist who would question me, and I was very polite, and nice to her, and never gave her attitude at all, she unfortunately had an attitude with me about me switching clinics, which was personal, and had nothing to do with Employment search at all whatsoever, and I asked her a few questions, one was about how many caseloads she has other than me? she wouldnt give out the estimate, and rolled her eyes at me, and raised her voice at me, and I didnt appreciate her being rude to me, and having an attitude with me, which is very unprofessional and no client deserves to be treated this way, then the second question was how many employment connections does she have? and if she has connections with employers? and she once again rolled her eyes at me, and pacing back and forth and she once again ask me why if I always talk like this? the same question that had nothing to do with employment search, nor support at all, and I asked her why shes questioning me about this, and that I asked her a simple question, which is not hard to ask a question, then she once again rolled her eyes at me, and pacing back and forth and asked me what the question was again? in a very rude, and sarcastic tone of voice towards me, and once I asked her the same questions, she once again roller her eyes at me, and says we can go online and look for jobs, and says she cannot introduce me to an employer claiming she dont like my attitude, but she was the one who coped an attitude with me, rolling her eyes at me, and was very irritable of the questions being asked, which I never got that from Beacon Group at all they never treated me this way, and I was polite, modest, and kind to her throughout the day, and she all of a sudden questions me because of my tone, and I was very polite to her didnt have a bad voice tone, didnt raise my voice at all she was in a bad mood this whole time we met, and its very unprofessional and sad that she had to judge me, all because I was transferring to a different clinic due to poor service, which she works very closely with, and this had nothing to do with job search at all. Does Marc Center always hire rude employees to work for them? Its pretty obvious that Christina cannot handle the position shes in and there are thousands of people who would love to have a job like what shes having, the pay may not be the best, but its about the clients, the consumers with disabilities, and mental illness to help them help themselves thrive, and strive to excellence with compassion, and emotional support, not putting people down, and rudely questioning them on the subject that was very uncalled for. This may not be the job for Christina White. Very disappointed, never been treated like this, and after I asked her the final question if she likes her job? she once again rolled her eyes at me, and stormed off, and didnt want to service me.

I was discriminated against by this organization. I have called & emailed requesting contact information for the ADA coordinator. I have gotten no response. I am moving toward filing a complaint with the EEOC.This organization has policies that violate my rights.#ADA #EEOC #DISCRIMINATION

I worked here. I had to leave due to the fact that they had an employee that was always sticking her nose in my business. I had been sick dealing with a medical emergency and she went around asking people if I have told them anything different. Also came a time where she said I put on weight and then went around to tell people I was pregnant. After multiple times of reporting everyone turned their head and said “we will handle it” but it continued. I left because that felt like they had no respect for my feelings as well as respect for my medical privacy. I also wasn’t treated good there either. If you are an employee there you are a less of importance while there. How can they expect you to care for patients when you yourself isn’t getting the same respect? They don’t respect patients either especially out in the community. Yet they pointed their fingers to the people that weren’t responsible. Like they just needed someone to blame.

Id give this place 0 stars if I could. This was a terrible company to work for. My first day I witnessed staff screaming at clients, demanding they do things, and physically pulling on/dragging them. Also a clients personal property was thrown away because she was being bad which she was told. I was also encouraged to lie if the state should come through for licensing as well as told to lie about daily things being done that were not done. For example, a client had a special shampoo in her med mood and was to use it every other day. She refused to shower for days at a time but instead of marking it as Refused the supervisor told me, We just have to mark is at being done so we dont get in trouble. Not ok! After reporting some of the things I had seen, a coworker started to try to make false reports about me. I had enough and quit. I told the supervisor my reasons and her only response was, Maybe this house wasnt for you. Ive done this for a few years and have never had any issues like these. Never work for this company!

Extremely rude drivers. Honking and carrying on giving me the thumbs down for a sticker on my truck. How unprofessional. Way to represent a mental health facility you jerk! A company that hires such unprofessional drivers certainly should not be entrusted to care for your loved ones with mental illness

I wouldnt even give them one star. I resigned from my position because I was working at Community Housing as a BHT. There are 4 clients and one of those clients call the other clients names, uses physical force on other clients, steal from other clients and the management does nothing about it. The clients abusing others manipulates others, dictates and controls other clients and management.
