Actually looking forward to getting everything in order. Especially grateful for the care & compassion by Ailene & Dr York, I thought I would be in tears from nerves the whole time, but they were very sweet, uplifted my mood, & talked me through everything. My son just finished and got his braces off today. We are excited! His teeth look great!We have had many visits here throughout the braces journey. The staff has always been very nice, there has never been a long wait. They are skilled, kind, and fast. They also have an in house payment program for affordable monthly payments. I payed it off early so I got a discount when I did that. They also use Care Credit as an option too. What more could you ask for?

I was in dire need of help when It came to pain i had in my tooth that needed to be repaired. I honestly lost all hope and prepared to just lose the tooth. I had no idea what was to come. Risas Dental and Braces is the only Dentist Ive been to where I dont have an anxiety attack as soon as I enter. From the front office staff to Dr. Holyoak I am always made to feel comfortable. They never try to have you do work that isnt necessary. Everything is explained so that you understand what is needed. Today I only needed my 6 month checkup and a cleaning, Clarissa was very nice and did a great job. If you need quality dental work at an affordable price this is the place to go.

Not happy with this place. You do not just charge someones card without giving them a call and a breakdown of the bill of the remaining balance. On top of that they just said we couldnt get a hold of your other insurance company so we just charged your card. For one tooth with two insurance companies and you are trying to tell me the bill is over 400 dollars. How about someone do their job right and do what you say you are going to do by calling the customer and saying what you are charging their card for and telling the customer that they never used their other insurance company that they provided to you. As a business honesty should be the best way to go with customers. This place is just about money and not really helping their customers in the best honest way. Dont recommend this place.

I have had the most amazing service from the awesome people of Risas Dental! Since day 1, it has been exceptional care for my work! Most recently, I was greeted by Jaqui who was AWESOME! Made me feel like I was family in the waiting room! Then to work with Clari was a dream! She was so much fun to work with! If I could pick someone to assist me every time, it would her HER! Can’t forget my new doc, Dr. York! He seems like he is going to be a perfect fit for the Risas family! I was referred over to Dr. Young for my third round for braces. I have had braces for many years with several orthodontist and I havent had the best outcome. However Dr. Young was able to help me get that perfect smile. He has always made me feel comfortable and welcomed every time I come in. Absolutely would recommend to anyone Dr. Young genuinely cared for me and made sure I was 100% satisfied with my treatment. All the assistances and office staff are so kind as well.

I initially set up an appointment on January 27th after not being to the dentist in awhile. I was finally ready to get the much needed work that I have needed done for awhile. The first step was paying $10 for the appointment and x-rays to see what all was needed. After viewing my condition, I had needed 3 root canals and other work done. Dr. York then referred me over to Apex Endodontics to receive treatment for those there (Which is a great place as well). Then after setting a treatment plan, I spoke with the wonderful people at the front desk about payment options. They explained both options, one being you pay half and then make payments of this much for 12 months. The second option being you pay in full and receive 20% off. The staff was very kind, professional, and very helpful. At first I was stressed about the amount but the staff were very reassuring. I came in the following week and paid for my treatment in full. As I continue on my treatment plan, I must say this is the best dental work I have had. Between the front office staff being super kind, to the Dental assistants also being very kind, and the dentist being very kind as well. It makes the process of treatment go very smoothly and less nerve racking. One more thing I love about this facility is that they schedule you right away. Like for example, after my first initial set of treatment, they scheduled me for my last 2 sessions while I was there. They also make sure to follow up with you to confirm your appointment, which helps you to further plan ahead. If you need dental treatment, go to Risas in Mesa. They will take care of you here. They truly care about their patients and are always there to help. I am very satisfied with my treatment here and am grateful I found this facility.

If your getting braces definitely ask to get the back molars bracketed as well. Its an elective step that theyll hesitate to mention but it doesnt cost extra. My teeth are beautiful now and I got them done for a little over $3,000. Thats about $2,000 less than my general dentist. The staff is friendly and open to questions and critiques on how your teeth are settling in. The dentists are all very well trained but nothing is set in place till the main doctors review it. 2 sets of eyes are better than one! Absolutely come here, its been almost 2 years since I started!

Where Can I Start with Risas Dental... They are just absolutely great! They speak both english and spanish so it was easy for my husband to come by himself without needing my translation! After being let down by a different Dental office Omar was beyond helpful. Dr.Tiffany and his assistant were awesome as well. I really felt they took their time to explain things to me. They also gave me all options and explained the pros and cons of each option. There was no judgment at all. I felt comfortable .Not to mention they were SOOO fast. I was referred and I would definitely refer others.

I’ve only had my initial visit, consisting of a consultation and exam. I was afraid to visit initially due to the COVID. However, the office was very clean (even smelled sanitized) and all the staff wore masks. They were all friendly. The Dentist was very attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable. The dentist I saw was amazing, I had a cavity filled and there was no pain or discomfort whatsoever throughout the entire procedure. From check in to walking out the door I was there for 50 minutes. This is probably the best dental office and experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve really loved my experience at Risas Dental so far. The staff is suuuuper nice, professional and very welcoming! They really try to connect with you and work with what’s best for you and I really liked that. The people that have taken care of me so far have been so kind and they take their time in explaining everything very thoughtfully to make sure that you understand what the next steps in your treatment are. I would really recommend coming here if you’re thinking about getting braces cause the staff at this location will for sure make you feel like you can trust them which is what I loved the most.

Barbaric dentistry. After a surgical extraction I was sent home with a prescription for Motrin. Dr Holyoak said he heard it works as good as Vicodin. To exhausted to deal with an argument I gave it a try. I was up all night in severe and unrelenting pain. No, Motrin and Tylenol do not work as good or even close, even when combined. This is terrible for the healing process and lack of sleep stops metabolic regeneration, very important for healing. Make sure you ask ahead of time about the pain care you will get. It’s not worth going through it. Find a dentist with compassion, there are plenty out there. I worked in dentistry for years and this is way below standards.
