UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!I am in the natural stone business and accidentally crush my new glasses. I drove a few miles looking through my glasses sideways and stumbled upon Pearle Vision. I was greeted by Jennifer who helped me straighten out my glasses.She was AWESOME using her skills to help me get my eye wear corrected. I strongly recommend to stop by and meet Jennifer who gets the value of serving her clients

I am giving a star because the Doctor was great and the staff was friendly. What I am not happy with is the quality of the lenses.I ordered some top of the line frames and every option for the lenses to match and a years worth of contact lenses. I paid a very hefty price.After 3 weeks the glasses came in. After wearing them the first time I noticed an air bubble in the lens, the lens was not seated in the frame correctly so each time you would attempt to clean them, they moves and the lenses themselves were irregular in thickness. And I also notices some chipping on the finish of the frames.So I called, and they offered to remake the glasses all together.I waited another 3 weeks and got the replacement lenses. They initially looked much better than the first, however these too have issues. The blue light coating looks irregular and reflects back into the eye. They look like lens scratches that you cannot buff away. After paying as much as I paid, I am shocked about the lack of quality . I called and asked for a full refund. I am awaiting a response.

I am not happy with my experience here at Pearle Vision. While the appointment was smooth, I felt that the customer service was terrible. I looked through frames and picked some but after pricing they were a little over budget for me so I asked what frames were cheaper and was told by the associate the ones I previously pointed out to you. I felt the response was rude and slightly judgemental. I have waited over 3 weeks and still have not received my glasses. My husband ordered a pair the same day and has received his but it still took 3 weeks. I was given an explanation about having to switch labs but am still waiting on a new estimate of when my glasses will arrive. I have not had glasses ever take this long before. I feel like I would have been better off getting the prescription and buying the glasses online. I do not recommend this location.Edit: Just wanted to come to add my husbands glasses ended up being made incorrectly and needed to be remade which took another week. I did receive my glasses after 4 weeks. They did provide us a refund on our glasses for our experience and while that is definitely appreciated, we are unlikely to return to this location.

Nakoda provided absolutely great service to me. I had recently had lasic procedure done on my eyes and my prescription sun glasses now needed to be replaced with regular lenses. However, my current glasses are no longer in stock, therefore, Nakoda had to ship them out and get the lenses done for me. He did this fast and diligent and I will be going back to him over and over again. Thanks again!

I have been to this location before but this visit was the worst experience ever. My appt was the first one of the day. I had filled out my paperwork online a week before but they couldnt find it so I had to sit and fill it out again. No biggie but why have the option of they cant keep track of it! They also had 2 baskets of frames with notes on them saying to disinfect them before putting them backt on the shelf. Shouldnt they have either been done the night before or first thing before anyone came in? The pre-tests were done fine but my actual eye exam was so quick I dont even know if my prescription is even correct. The selection of frames was very limited due to all the frames that were still in baskets waiting to be cleaned. Needless to say, I took my prescription to another optical place to order glasses and I wont be going back to Pearl Vision again.

I’ve been with this place at this location for a few years now regarding my eye care. I first started wearing contacts thru these guys and they were extremely patient and helpful in getting me used to them. Quick and easy annual eye exams and any and all questions answered. Always. Kevin was super great!

Ive been coming here with my two teenage children for about 3 years now. Always professional and knowledgeable staff. The only thing I can say is that sometimes the waits are a little longer than I would like, especially when doing three consecutive appointments. Otherwise, this place is fantastic!

3.5? Really? Ignore that...Had a great experience each time Ive been in. Dr. Hardin is kind & knowledgeable.The staff took the time to help figure out my complicated insurance. I took forever to figure out what I wanted. It is obvious they have a lot to juggle, so their patience is much appreciated. Only downside is the shipping time, but that is out of their control. Everything that is within their control was done well. Highly recommended!

Nakoda is extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to this field. He answered all my questions with ease and really took the time to educate me on the best lens options for my eyes. The store had a variety of frames to chose from. The store was super clean and I felt confident in knowing they were taking all precautions and safety measures in regards to Covid-19. Thanks pearle!! I had a WONDERFUL experience when I went in to get glasses . I was able to get what I needed and also leave with a smile on my face. I understand it takes a few weeks for them to come in since they have to go the lab and then be shipped back. Overall the process went really smooth for me and I would go back again as well as refer my friends and family. Happy I went in. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Wasn’t happy the first time I went there and still like a fool I gave them another chance and again the customer service is terrible. After spending $2700 on 4 pairs of glasses I got 3 back and waiting on 1 pair with no idea when I’ll receive them and to top it all off there was no fitting or even an offer to clean the glasses I did get and I have to ask for cleaner... there won’t be a3rd time!

Veronica is amazing! It was a super busy day, and she remained calm, friendly and professional. She even offered a discount to myself and another customer due to the wait. There was some miscommunication on lenses, not once but twice, (and I do believe it was on my end) she remained kind and helpful until the desired frames and lenses were in hand. Ive worn glasses my whole life and Ive never had issues with getting my glasses. I ordered my glasses 6 weeks ago. I was supposed to get them two weeks after ordering them, but I have yet to receive the glasses (which I really need due to my astigmatisma) The order was placed on 1/27 and today is 3/2. Absolutely ridiculous. Dont go to Pearle Vision for your vision needs. They will disappoint you.

I went in to order a new frame from Oakley with prescription lenses that were on backorder until mid august. I was offered the shelf pair in a different color to get fitted with my lenses while my frames were ordered. Instead when I went back in, they had actually already received my frames and had the lenses done, weeks ahead of when they were originally going to be available. The service was impeccable, working with Kevin, and a wonderful selection to choose from.

Oh wow, where do I even start. I went in for my yearly exam but waited to order contacts to make sure I liked my trial pair. I called back after about two weeks and ordered my six month supply. The receptionist, I think her name is Jessica, advised that I would get a call in 3-5 business days when they arrived. I waited for weeks and never got a call back so I ended up calling them. I was told that my order of contacts had been opened and used as trial pairs. The office manager, Veronica, apologized and offered me another pair of free trials while they ordered another supply to be directly shipped to my address. I called back and confirmed that they had my address correct and waited. I ended up waiting for WEEKS!! I called today and asked about my supply. Jessica advised that she could order me another supply since mine still hadn’t arrived. I asked to speak to Veronica and told her to cancel my claim with my insurance because to order contacts a third time is beyond ridiculous. I will say they were always apologetic but for this to happen this many times and they fact that I was the only one following up on all of this is not acceptable.

They are in my network amd I would still have to pay about $400 for a pair of glasses. The sales reps must get paid on commission. I asked about contacts, the sales man said,it would be better to get the buy 1 get 1 free deal. He was helping someone else so he handed me off to someone else. I went over payment options. She said the second pair would not be free. Then when I quietly explains my financial situation and that I only wanted 1 pair, she snarled at me and got louder when she said Its your low budget. She would not work with me. She was not delicate with the process. She tried to pick frames for me. Not sure if she knew I was still there because I got my eyes dilated, but she was making fun of how I decided that I would just pay for my exam and go somewhere out of my network. I walked back out with my son and she got very quiet and red in the face. Never going back. The Dr and the assistant were great, as well as the receptionist. Sales people need sensitivity training.

High marked up lens. Prescribed lens representative advised me to look down in the lens of the glasses in order to see!! An audit for quality to be ensured at this location. Not real professionals. My frames were $700.00 totaled at this location. On amazon $125.00.Parasites!

Shoutout to Amy! I went in just frame shopping and I never felt rushed! During my time there, she helped 5 other people all on her own. When I was ready with my three potential frames, she gave me her opinion on which one I should get (she chose my favorite)! Then, she told me about an awesome deal they had so I ended up with some prescription sunglasses too! I leave the country in a few weeks. Fingers crossed I have new glasses in time! She was great and for my first time being there, I felt relaxed!

Went in not really knowing what to expect and all i can say is wow! These guys were awesome. Everyone there was so polite and made it so enjoyable. Veronica helped me find the first pair of glasses i actually really enjoy and she even helped my girlfriend get a pair of sunglasses she really really likes. Worse service ever.To make things more clear, I went in as a new customer to update my prescription and glasses.They treated me pretty whatever, not impressed by the service nor can I complain about it neither.I get most of the things they offer cause I get it, “you have to sell” somehow right?They tell me it may take up to 10 to 14 business days right? I wait the 14 days yet I call almost everyday to check on the status of my order, on the 14th day they tell me that the pair I ordered has been “back ordered” and that it will take another 15 days. 29 days almost a WHOLE month for a pair of glasses, which they got from their site claiming it was “special order” to get them? Not even a phone call to let me know prior, and the best part? They hit me with the “sorry no refunds but we can see what we can do on another pair” deal. Seriously, stay away from this place. Not worth the time, and yes I never got the “call in 5 mins from the manager” to fix my issue neither. They never called back at all and tried keeping my money. Just so the company knows, I had to dispute the charge to get my money back thanks for your incompetent employees and their service.

Im not the first to report bad things about this place. We paid in advance a lot of money for my sons glasses. It will be 3 weeks until his glasses will be ready, when I was guaranteed it would only take up to two. Veronica was a good listener, understanding, and apologetic. But she was still unable to hurry my sons order. This has been most inconvenient and I will not be back anytime soon.

Doctor was fine....but not the one I saw the year before. Everyone in the office seems to jump around to different branches. So no onw will take care of me, because no one feels any ownership.My second pair of glass came in incorrect and now a full 5 1/2 weeks later, my glasses are in. I dont know this because they called me. I called them weekly and got a promise from a different person EVERY time that they would call me back. Sorry I had to give them a star

I had been to places like Americas Best, Lens Crafters, and other chain vision stores and had not awesome results. Pearle Vision came highly recommended, so I tried them. I had my exam and made the order for one pair of single-vision glasses on the 7th. They gave a 10-14 day turnaround. It is now the 26th and my glasses are, apparently, still in the finishing department and not yet ready to ship. When I expressed disappointment, I was told that they just switched computer systems and (they) were having a hard time communicating with the lab, but before June everything was fine. He honestly told me its really not our fault, its the new system. Sure it is, buddy. Sure. As it stands now, 2 stars for the hope that I will actually receive my glasses. If I do not, Ill come and edit.

I have never had a better customer service experience. Dr Nappi is wonderful and very informative. Really took the time to answer my questions. Abbe went out of her way to make sure i was taken care of and Rose really made a difference for me in getting me the best prices possible! They were so welcoming to me and my 4 month old (he was teething). They treated us like family and i will never go anywhere else for my eye care, or that of my family!!! Walked in and the only real positive thing about my visit was the optometrist conducting my eye exam. Everything else was terrible. After the exam I went to look at frames and the employees could not have cared less about any of my questions about what is in style and if in their opinion in the glasses I liked actually looked good on me. I was left floundering around looking at glasses until I choose a pair that was similar to the ones I walked in with because they were the only pair I knew that looked good on me. The person helping me was not in the slightest bit interested in helping. When it came time to choosing options for my lenses (high index, anti glare, etc.) all the person assisting me did was rattle off prices for various options from a binder she pulled out from her desk. Overall, the person helping me had a complete lack of professionalism. Picking up my glasses after waiting for two weeks was also equally unpleasant. I like the price Pearle Vision offers on their services and goods but this particular location has a terrible staff.

I’ve dealt with Veronica several times and Ieisha recently when my father (73 yrs old) was assaulted and broke his glasses during the incident. He was in the hospital for two weeks and Veronica helped me get his glasses replaced and again when he lost a screw. I’ve also dealt with Ieisha who helped again with a lose screw and readjust them when he sat on them. Even though this location isn’t the closest to me, I go out of my was because of the service.I would recommend this location above all else.

Not a speedy processe . The great thing about Pearls Vision is that if you are not satisfied, they will remake, and remake and remake....until you are . My prescription is not the easiest to deal with, but through trial and error, and 5 remakes later, I am very happy with the outcome .Abby was fantastic when I was a pain in the butt. I would recommend friends and family and I will return for my next set of glasses.

The doctor and the receptionists were absolutely amazing! Very nice and very professional. The sales reps added on insurance that I did not need and did not tell me I was getting charged for that. I knew I had a free pair of glasses covered under my insurance and only had to pay for the anti glare feature. Another downfall was the selection of glasses. There wasnt any good options and I will choose to go online to buy frames from now on.

The glasses are over priced and take way to long to get especially since you have to pay in advance its been over three weeks and I still dont have them. I have called them 6 times in a row to get my perscription and no answer. When I went to get my eyes examined they were understaffed and was almost an hour late past my appointment time which made me late to the remainder of my appointment. Completely disappointed with this place.

This place is so great that I am writing my first google review. As soon as I walked through the door Pearle Vision was very inviting and comfortable. Dr. Nappi was so friendly and informative - he really went above and beyond in making sure I understood my eye health. Afterwards, Rose did a through job of breaking down the extra cost of different glasses features such a transitions, anti-glare etc. so that I could make the best decision for my eyes and wallet! Wonderful place - highly recommend.

So very impressed with the staff at this location! They were all so sweet and welcoming. I met Veronica and Iasha at a booth and they helped to get me an appointment. I have been needing an eye visit for so long, what a blessing they are! Sweet inside and out and you can tell they REALLY CARED about my well-being. I reccomend Pearle Vision to everyone seeking eye care. 10/10 will be coming back. Very, very satisfied with my experience. I got a new pair of sunglasses from their awesome selection and my boyfriend even found a pair of perscription glasses he liked (WAHOO)!

If I could give a zero star review I would I took my son out of school two hours early and they told me sorry the doctor hasn’t had a break now you have three in front of you. Like it was my fault they over booked. They wanted me to wait 2 hours past my original appointment time because they over booked themselves and had three to four people waiting. When I confronted the office staff I was screamed at in front of all the people waiting. Not only did I leave completely humiliated I still don’t have my updated prescription that I need to have to get to and from night school. I drove from north Scottsdale to see these idiots and was a complete waste of time.

I decided to make another appointment for 3/13 at 5:20 I just had someone call me to confirm my appointment for 5 on 3/13 mind you I received an email confirmation for 5:20 they have some serious scheduling issues! You’re better off going to Walmart they will atleast get your time right

I recommend this franchise and this office. Ive always used another popular company for my vision needs, but that company wasnt in my insurance’s network. I had many choices, but Pearle was a company I recognized and felt I could trust. My instincts were correct. Pearle, wasn’t as flashy as the other company, but service and selection were comparable. I like that they had an independent optometrist on site. I worked with a very professional salesperson, Gabby. Gabby was excellent with sales and I could tell she loves her job. She knew just what I was looking for and it took little time for frame and lens selection. She offered a free second pair of lenses with the frame purchase. Pearle has Essilor products, Crizal (anti-reflective) , Transitions (for light sensitivity) and Varilux(progressive lens). I I have Presbyopia, so all 3 technologies will help greatly, especially night vision. I knew virtually nothing about these techs, but Gabby did and set me up well. Gabby also took care of insurance and billing. The technician and the optometrist were very good too. I elected for the high def retina scan which took several tries to obtain a good scan and the technician was very patient offering suggestions to get a good scan. The optometrist gave me good advice for the best lenses to correct my vision, in my case progressive. My glasses took just over 2 weeks to come in. Veronica was in the office to help with fitting and I had to rebill since I had HSA account I forgot about. Again, I found Veronica personable and helpful. I didnt need any adjustments, but Veronica suggested I stop back in a couple weeks if needed. Clearly, Pearle wants their patrons to be satisfied. Pearle offers 30 day complete satisfaction guarantee. This location offers the Pearle Eyewear Protection Plan which will cover ‘protection for normal wear and tear, accidental damage from handling and protection from day one of purchase’. Do yourself a favor, if its been a few years since, get over to Pearle and treat yourself, you deserve it, to some new eyewear and enjoy top notch service getting it!

Used to work at this location, was let go because of “ budget”. My name is Amy btw. It’s obvious by the reviews that patients loved me. Went thru all the contact lenses the day before I was let go to find over 200 EXPIRED contacts dating back from as late as 2009! I loved working for this company! It’s clear no one went thru the contacts to make sure we are giving patients new contact lenses. Manager made me do all the work including opening the store at seconds notice( manager has since been fired). New manager is great and is really trying to improve that office. I truly believe that. They let go of the wrong person. I was a patient there as well.The purpose of reviews are to find out what people are saying about a business and I truly believe this place can be improved but their first step should be of getting the right people.Was alao left alone all day in an office on multiple occasionsI worked hard for this company. I covered all 4 AZ locations in a moments noticed, made sales that are well and I never over charged a patient and put them in eyewear that best fit their needs! By the reviews below, and the reviews on all the other locations it is fairly obvious you guys made a HUGE mistake that had since effected your locations ratings.

Come On, The Doctor should not be allowed to rate his own service as he did below! That is obviously a conflict of interest.They are never there! Leave early and lock the door when they feel like it. I found this place on my vision insurance website. I would rate it a 0. I cant believe the doctor even has the nerve to rate his own website just to post a response to a previous rating. I would bet the only good rating here were done by the staff, doctor or family members. They are so rude. There was an older lady trying on glasses when I was there and I felt so sorry for her. They office ladies were snarling and making faces behind her back and so sarcastic to her. Of course it was 5:45 pm and they were so obvious about the fact they just wanted to get her out so they could go home. I went in for glasses and contact lens fitting and prescriptions. I wanted to have my eyes dilated. I could tell right away that they did not want to take the time for the dilation. They said we could do it on my followup for my lens fitting. 2 weeks, later. Of course when I was there they had no time again. I had to stop in because the lenses prescribed were horrible and I could not see to work and the lens did not fit one of my eyes. The door and website says they are open until 6:30pm Mon-Fri. Although every time I called they said they were closing and it wasnt even 5:30. They will even tell you when you call that they close at 5:30. Even though the door says 6:30. I had a Saturday appointment scheduled and got 2 reminders, when I called to confirm the time the day before, I was told the doctor would not be there! I would have to come another time. By then I had been wearing one contact for 3 weeks. The manufacturer website says they are only to be worn 1-2 weeks. I called and was told they were fine for up to 30 days. Obviously I have no trust in these people, so I called 2 different eye docs and was told they are 2 week contacts period. Finally I was able to pick up my prescription and could not believe they thought I would actually buy my contacts through them! When I told them I would find someplace else, they were so rude. I really did like a pair of glasses I saw but was made to feel I was wasting their time and holding them up from closing, so forget it. I will find some elsewhere. They obviously wanted to bill my insurance for my exam, and that is all they cared about. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doc.

I go to this Pearle Vision annually to get my prescription renewed, and I usually have a great experience. I went this week and the doctor there was filling in and did a pretty terrible job with bedside manner and other communication. I told the ladies at the front desk, which made all the difference. They told my normal doctor, Dr. Nappi, and he immediately reviewed my appointment records from the poor appointment. He had concerns about the way the guest doctor changed my prescription, and asked me to come back in when I could. As a health literacy advocate and healthcare marketer, I cannot thank Dr. Nappi and his staff enough for standing up for me and make me feel like a valued patient whose health matters to them.

We are beyond furious with this store and the chain in general. My wife got glasses for our daughter with the warranty package. The frames broke, and we brought them into the store several weeks ago. The staff never contacted us. My wife came back into the store to check, and was treated rudely because we didnt have the lenses with us. (my daughter also wears contacts). So on the next trip back in with the existing glasses, the person in the store broke the original frames to an unusable point trying to remove the lenses to put into the new frames. Incidentally, the old lenses didnt fit the new frames. The store staff said they would order them. Its doubtful they have, as we stopped back in on December 23rd to check the status, and nothing had been done on the reorder of the frames and lenses to fit them. We were promised a call back on Tuesday, December 26th. No call back, and no new glasses. I guess your store doesnt care if its customers can see or not. Abysmal customer serviceUpdate - nine months later the owner finally reaches back?And no offer to make things right, just come back in?I dont think so. Poor service gets you a poor review.You have work to do in the customer service department

This place now tries to up-sale its customers. It used to be a nice place but now it only has lousy service from incompetent staff. The new manager was also very annoying. Wont come back again.

Customer service was equal to a Wal-Mart in a bad neighborhood. Cheap, low end glasses frames at this location start at $600 a pair up to $2200, without the lens. Lens are another $200-400. Go to any other company, get the same frames and save a ton of money.
