Dr. Lichtenwalter is a lovely human being. He never talks down to me, is very reassuring and truthful. He treats me as an equal partner in my care.

Staff and Doctor were kind, attentive and thorough. All of my issues were heard and are being remedied. I had as much time as I needed to ask questions. Overall, very satisfyed with my treatment.

Great place to come for check up and testing. Dr Shukla is the best Cardiologist!! Great group of professionals....

This was my first visit with Dr. Lichtenwalter. He and his staff were excellent at taking the time to collect all of my information about my health concerns. He is caring while being informative about what care he feels I may need moving forward. I appreciated not being rushed and spoken to calmly and with some humor interjected as he listened to this new adventure in my health that I am not entirely ready to explore. I feel very supported and confident in partnering with CAI to have the best level of quality of life that I am able to enjoy.

I was supposed to get test results back today for clearance to receive a necessary life saving surgery tomorrow. My phone appointment was at 2pm. They had someone call me to tell me theyd be reaching out to me at 4pm because they were running behind. I understand with the current pandemic that things can get crazy. However, theyve done this to me twice now. I really liked Dr. Shukulah, but the staff is very unprofessional. What couldve taken 5 to 10 minutes to clear me for surgery, is now not going to happen for another 2 weeks due to this office being highly disorganized. Ive been waiting over 2 hrs for a phone call appointment only to call and find they have closed for the day. I believe at this point this was some form of revenge for the last review that I did that was oddly erased. After I receive my test results, I will make sure to find another cardiologist. My life is literally on the line and the staff here could care less.

My husband Randy has been a patient for 5 yrs and has never met Dr Shukla..his test results from another clinic have shown his main arteries are clogged his heart is about 30% ..this should be of great concern yet we cant even get a phone visit as they never show up ..im sure people have died either dealing with lameo insurance or waiting for someone to care enough to call and keep an appointment ..i guess a treatment plan is too much to ask for ..im watching my husbands quality of life deminish before my eyes and thats scary ..his life is in the hands of these people ...and they dont care.. update ......His name is Randy Eckhardt he should have had a stint in his heart along time ago.. Can someone please get in touch .. he can hardly breathe and now to even get refills on the meds you say are necessary and should be taken daily is impossible but his horrible insurance refuses to cover -- its so sad and frustrating...Thank you

First of all, Dr. Shukla gets 5 stars. However the office gets only one. I had issues with them from my first follow up appointment that was supposed to be with Dr. Shukla and was not, to several untruths re: test authorization and help getting them, records being sent, to several requests for a physician referral to my home state. When I thought I was finally done with them they sent a bill to the wrong address. Very disappointing after such a positive hospital experience.

Dr. Shukla was awesome, he took the time to explain everything and didn’t make us feel rushed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I’m very happy with this practice.

Friendly staff and assistance was treated fast and was inform of all the test that were perform that day. i do have one bad thing from this clinic that i didnt like is that the referral was sent 3 time from my family dr and they kept telling me that they didnt received it other then that an okay clinic

The cardiologist and his staff were excellent. Very thorough and caring. The chairs in the waiting room were so bad my back hurts still, hours later. Thank goodness the care helps make up for it.

I have known these cardiologists for the entirety of their years at CAI. I am both a colleague and a patient. When doctors care about their patients, each and every one of them, you know you have found a good doctor. I assure you, this group of doctors all do. Excellent treatment. I totally trust Dr. Shuklas diagnoses and treatments. Medical staff seem knowledgeable and thorough. Pleased with heart ablation procedure and leg vein procedures and staff. I have gone to CAIA since 2014. Sometimes it is difficult to contact office. Have had to leave messages or emails. that received no response on 3 different occasions. Also recommend all medical personnel to call me by my name.

I enjoy the office staff they are all so eager to help, and get you settled in a quick way. The Dr. And his P.A. are wonderful and have made me feel so better about my heart. Im glad I have this team behind me.

It was a great experience to have such professional service provided to my wife and I. Especially, Jessica, who went above and beyond to schedule our future appointments. Unorganized and uncaring service. If the cant get something as simple as appointment scheduling correct, I dont trust them to examine my heart. Will find another doctor with their stuff together.

I have been receiving treatment here. I have had test to see what has been going on with my heart. Needless to say I had to get a pacemaker put in. They treated me well and made sure that my needs where meet. I dont understand why people are complaining about billing. Did you think they were doing work for free. Didnt you ever think to call billing or your insurance? When it comes down to it is your responsibility to check.

Dr. Shukla is an amazing physician. I have been under his care for 10 years. I am totally blessed to have him as my cardiologist. Dr. Shukla has a humanistic and empathic approach with his patients. He truly cares and wants the best results and quality of life for his patients. Dr. Shukla will explain the medical/science side of your condition and treatment as much as you want and do so in easily understandable laymans terms. His staff are very professional and the technician that works with patients to adjust their pacemaker to their lifestyle and activities is absolutely great. His name is Craig and he listens to the patient and works with them in the pacemaker adjustments until the pacemaker is responding and providing what the patients lifestyle and activities need. I am a very aggressive physical activity fitness person. I push my physical limits all the time through workouts, high intensity aerobic activities such as cycling. Dr. Shukla and Craig has worked with me in adjusting my pacemaker to that I can come as close to my prior pacemaker free heart and athletic/fitness performance. Having a pacemaker has not diminished one bit my activities, activity levels of intensity, or my quality of life because of the efforts, skills, knowledge, and involvement of Dr. Shukla and pacemaker technician Craig.

I found Lichtenwalter to be arrogant and reckless in his assessments. I had to find another cardiologist. Ive been with my new one for the past two years and very happy with him.

When we moved to AZ in 2013 my primary care doctor referred me to Dr Lichtenwalter. Since starting care with him and later his partner Dr Shukla, i have nothing but high praises to sing. They are both all business but quite clearly care about me and my condition.Each time I visit with Dr Lichtenwalter he quizzes me about changes and the impact of prior decisions, then makes a cryptic projection of steps going forward. When he is at your hospital door at 5 AM, as Shukla also is, you know he is committed to treatment. After an Afib episode he decided in one of those 5 AM visits that an angiogram was appropriate, regardless of what the rest of his day included, and 3 hours later I was on an operating table.The team of Shukla and Lichtenwalter has also performed an electrical ablation and installed a pacemaker. My cardiac health is good and I am happy with their decision-making.In an earlier review I read that the author felt Lichtenwalter to be arrogant. I would rather rate his personality as damn confident, and I find nothing wrong with that. It aint bragging if youre good, and he surely is. But IMO he is clearly concerned about my cardiac health and thats what counts.

Do yourself a favor go to a different cardiologist office dr. Shukla is a horrible doctor. But if you do go to him or a family member does see him please pay attention to the medications that he is prescribing your family member or yourself. He prescribed the wrong medication to a family member and that family member passed away. He is a horrible person doesnt care about his patients all he cares about is himself and the money he can put in his pocket. I wouldnt recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. Dr. Shukla is a horrible person and doesnt belong practicing medicine. This is my opinion and its all based on fact.
